Rosamund Pike on Rehearsing Sex Scenes with Neil Patrick Harris for Gone Girl
/ latenightseth - Комедії
I lost it when she said "With a man who's not your husband... who's also got a husband." XD
Adeel Irshad Neil also has a husband, he's gay.
Did you ever end up finding it?
😂🤣🤣iww with a gay men oh my god
@@lydiaworld9850 it’s not gross why are you reacting like that?
why did you lose it ? its not funny
It's a testament to her acting ability that I would be afraid to be in the same room with this woman.
I had two dreams about her months after seeing the movie
XtreemMetalMan interesting
@@XtreemMetalManRedToTheBone You need a therapist, dude..
You've got 666 likes.... What an achievement
You’re afraid to be in the same room as someone that’s good at acting? Why?
WOW, some actors must be really good at doing other accents cause in the movie she spoke with an American one and she was REALLY GOOD.
True! I remember seeing Rush and having never heard Olivia Wilde speak before, her British accent was so convincing I actually thought she was British. So I totally get you
I know, I actually thought Rosamund was pure American. Amazing.
Hollywood is practically saturated with British actors, my friend.
I was thinking too I cannot believe this is how she actually sounds, I had no idea and thought she sounded American and she was great!!
I hope she can win Oscar this time ! I have been her fan since her very first movie!
saw this movie with my parents.... never again
ahhahaha it was good tho
hahaha one of the more awkward movies to do that
xoallieox07 I had no clue what it was about or that it had so many sex scenes.
***** big mistake.
It was my moms idea to watch this movie. I thought it was going to be boring. But the first few words into the movie caught my attention. At times I was like: "Mom...you wanted to see this?..."
Neil Patrick Harris gets more women as a gay man than i ever did as straight one.
How many women do you get as a gay man now?
everyone says they're creeped out by her cus of gone girl but i thinks she's so beautiful & angelic
+priscilla darling For me, she'll always be the kind and beautiful Jane Bennett.
+priscilla darling I think Rosamund's adorable and quite cuddly looking.
she's not a gone girl she's a good girl
@@rithond SAME HERE! she’ll always be Jane to me
Who are these people? Name them?
Just saw Gone Girl.. WOW.. if she is not nominated for everything next year I burn the academy down. She was fantastic
Hahahaha I will Help you my friend, she was terriffic!!
She certainly was, my goodness! I saw it 3 hours ago and I'm still reeling. What a performance... what a MOVIE!
of course she`d be nominated!!! her performance was beyond amazing
I agree with you, a very faithful adaptation from book to movie. When I saw the opening scene when Nick strokes Amy's hair slowly that pretty much summed up the movie for me in a nutshell since I read the book.
she deserves the oscar, bafta and other awards
she's insanely british
JoefromNJ1 So true, she has that lower register in her voice, a massive vocabulary, & trained diction. Her quick mind was a gift of birth, her gentleness was the result of kind, but not indulgent parenting.
Indulgent parenting gives us Honey Boo Boo.
+JoefromNJ1 Shot a Bond movie the same year she received her degree from Oxford. It's like a cliche.
And cute
She is English
cokpeotfg4 fcdck English people are British, yes
Feels a bit weird that she looks at the audience so much, usually guests look at the host and eeeevery now and then at the audience, but she keeps looking at the audience and talking to them rather than mostly to Seth. I liked that.
She's British. They do things differently there.
It's an unconscious thing for a lot of people, at least for me. I usually very rarely look at the person I talk to, not because I don't want to but because I'm mentally focusing on what I say.
I was actually in the audience, I was in the first row. At the time I didn't know who she was, now I'm so happy I went.
I actually LOVE that she looks at the audience a lot more than what we're used to. It acknowledges their presence and shows respect. I get sooo irritated when the guest focuses solely on the host, as if no one else mattered. But it's also true that UK talk shows are more interactive (check out Graham Norton) so maybe she is just used to doing it the British way.
Chris R but I already have a job.
She was so fantastic in this movie... Hope she gets nominated for it!!!!
*****
yes i also hope she wins it
bensev1 Well you can't say you hope she wins until you see the other nominations
I heard Kim Dickens may get nominated too!
She was masterful in Gone Girl. The film might not have been everybody's cup of tea, BUT she played the part of the psychopathic wife incredibly well! Very beautiful, talented actress!
She's an incredible actor. Deserves plenty oscars. Her acting in Gone girl was absolutely astounding.
The movie scared me so much as a kid xD
Correct. I just finished watching it. Brilliant performance, just brilliant.
The movie is fantastic... and Rosamund Pike, you are a queen!!! She was pitch-perfect of the two versions of Amy, the first half of Amy from her diary and then the “real” Amy. Her presence on screen is breathtaking.
I don't recall watching a villain this delicious on screen since Hannibal Lecter...She absolutely dominates the film! She totally deserves a Oscar nomination for her incredibly performance!
wow she is absolutely breathingly gorgeous, could not take my eyes off her. definitely checking out Gone Girl
" You are alone with a man who is not your husband, who also has a husband."
Am I the only one that remembers watching Die Another Day in the theaters and walking out with Rosamund Pike being the most memorable thing of that whole film?
You were not, I can remember when Haley berry stabbed her with the book.lol
haha i honestly dont remember the plotline for that film just how beautiful, seductive yet sinister Rosamund Pike was in it and how I expected to see her in a lot of films after that breakout role
I remember leaving the theater thinking she was hot but also a bad actress.
Guess "Gone Girl" proved me wrong.
I agree about "An Education." Rosamund was that one actress that got my attention with a "hey, there's that actress again who is so beautiful, sexy and stunning, you can't take your eyes off her." She was also the one who really stood out for me in this Bruce Willis film called "Surrogates." Go see it for Rosamund alone. I love this woman. And if since she didn't win the Oscar this year (Julianne Moore was a shoo-in, and rightfully so), just imagine what she'll bring to her next role.
she absolutely killed it in Gone Girl. I forgot it was acting at one point. Give her all the big awards. She deserves it.
she deserves to win Oscars for this movie.. that scene Ben Affleck was talking on the daily show and she was obsessively watching him was one of her best acts in the movie.
such a beauty. she has the loveliest face and i love her smile so pretty
I honestly hold a deep hate for that character she played. that's how i know she did a great performance.
Conversely I loved her character. Although extreme, there was a lot of truth to it.
Lol, what truth?
@@aquablushgirl You need therapy then
Mar.K No... and I also don’t need to be told what I need by a stranger. Maybe you have a one dimensional view of the world. Humans are multi faceted.
@@aquablushgirl If i have one dimensional view of the world by just hating a psychopath who eventually gets away then i'm 100% in it. You in the opposite, like her which tells me a lot to justify my comment and i don't need to continue this
She's so elegant
British people play american people so well
I agree! Because they have to learn how to. Americans don't have to learn how to play Americans so they almost get complacent sometimes (in my opinion)
A Dube
Get fat and condone govt and police criminality... easy to be murican.
@@electricladyland4421 they don't have to at all. Its just very easy.
They're totally come from the same origin 😂❤
I love that she talks to the studio audience
Her voice is so calming.
she should have played Grace Kelly instead of Nicole kidman
I agree. She would have made a more convincing Grace.
+paula pingkan She would be perfect and she got the look too
Please don't associate that name with Rosamund Pike. Nicole did a wonderful job as Grace Kelly. So I have heard.
Every time I see her first thought is always she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen since Grace Kelly (& my Mom's on that list, too...she was movie-star beautiful in that vein, w/blonde hair, blue eyes & won a little miss pageant - her cousin had entered her! 💚💚 I don't think I saw the movie, but oh..no, not Nicole Kidman, not when there's Rosamund! 😃
Thats actually perfect. She looks a lot like her and has a more natural face than Nicole.
She is absolutely stunning.
She was so scary in this role. Amazing, she deserves at least an oscar nomination.
lol the tiny glasses bit killed me
She sounds way different than I thought she would. She's so beautiful!
i love her voice!! just finished gone girl and couldn’t get enough of it so here i am
That movie could have ended three or four different times and I would have said, "that was a damn good movie"... but then it bent and twisted... best movie I've seen in five years....
What in the world are you talking about? It was honestly the worst and most unsatisfying ending in all of cinematic history. Basically the end destroyed the whole movie. In a nutshell, *Great movie < Worst ending ever*
@Oves Du totally disagree. The ending didn't even made sense. It was just another "i let the audience think about it" cliche move type of ending.
She did change her accent amazingly in Gone, Girl, same thing in American Psycho and I had no idea the lead was English!
She really needs to make an ASMR tape, her voice is so calming
She was amazing in Gone Girl. She deserves an Oscar.
Rosamund pike is the most elegant and classiest women i have ever seen.!!
She is up there with Cate Blanchett. Amazing. She kills it in I Care a Lot
the most gorgeous woman on planet earth.
I love her accent and wow she's very eloquent.
After seeing Rosamund Pike in the James Bond film "Die Another Day" opposite Pierce Brosnan in 2002, I thought that she was stunning and classy, and I couldn't fathom why the Studios didn't cast her as the lead in another major production. Now, more than twelve years later, she has been cast in a pivotal role in "Gone Girl" and Pike was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar.Hopefully, this will be the beginning of better roles to come.
Saw Gone Girl a couple days ago and DAMN, was Rosamund Pike amazing! I cross my fingers her name is announced on Oscar Nomination Day!
I love Rosamund Pike so much 💞💞💞
What a talented and gorgeous woman. Her performance in Gone Girl was astounding, I almost feel bad for Affleck who has about 1/10th the acting ability of Ms. Pike. She's just mesmerizing even if you don't enjoy the film which was good but had some issues. She deserves an Oscar and her range as an actress is beyond impressive, hopefully she will get the good roles now and we will see her far more on the big screen. Truthfully while the story was engaging, I felt that only the female cop and the sister also had strong performances. Affleck is not a good actor and neither is Tyler Perry. Neil Patrick Harris was also miscast. Rosamund Pike is the reason to see this film, amazing job.
Oh please, shut up, Affleck was great in the movie....
Yes and yes to all you said. Of course she's better actor than Ben, although he's very smart not only good looking. But in Hollyweird you need a good PR game to become famous talent alone won't cut it. Plus Rosamund is classy, smart, talented, is not starving for fame with a cultural and classic arts British upbringing. So she won't be playing cheap tricks to get attention.
Diablotheone96 he was kinda playing himself. The cheating and player husband. He was good not outstanding.
Tripti Thakur oh come on... i always read miscast when it comes to harris in Gone Girl. bullshit, i dont get it at all. pitt, or craig... are just too big, in every sense of the word. also, they dont have that slight creepiness that harris has. and the role needed that, above all. the character is a non-threatening looking fucking weirdo. and on the other hand: brad pitt simply has too much natural starpower, he would have practically overshadowed that role. too fucking big. or what would you say if all of a sudden 007 turns up at the end... this is the reason why i think you're all wrong on that. or you simply hate harris, then, i cant help you anyway. peace out.
ok, you found him unconvincing, i thought he did fit. .. and by the way, no, i'm not a particular harris fan and i dont watch HIMYM, so, you guessed wrong. just want to clarify that. peace out from austria.
She is AMAZING in Gone Girl. A perfect Amy!
she's so beautiful. I wish she made as many movies as Samuel Jackson.
Rosamund Pike is a fucking goddess of nature, I swear she never ages.
Very talented actress. I’ve seen her in other movies but her performance in Gone Girl was gold. And she scared the crap outta me lol.
I’m British and had no idea she was British, her American accent is spot on
She isn't American?...wtf
She did American accent so realistic in gone girl..
+Aman Ammad
Many British actors do seem to have the knack of doing an American accent.
anyone can do an american accent its lazy and easy
@@cokpeotfg4fcdck601 anyone can do it 90%, but not completely. Many very good actors didn't quite get there, like Nicole Kidman or the woman investigator from "the Good Wife"
She was just amazing in the movie! So muchhh talent! And she's beautiful....
She is so beautiful
Shes so beautiful and talented
A few couple probably went to this movie thinking its a romcom
She's such a different person with a british accent 😲😍
She's so beautiful.
The beginning was really funny haha
love her
She was fantastic in her role.
i love the way she talks.
one of my fav actresses, nice for her.
This woman is superb in Gone Girl. The Academy should be ashamed for not awarding this woman the Best Actress award because no one can match her performance in this movie.
She has a nice voice💓her voice sounds like Cate Blanchett😂she is such a good actress with poise and elegance
She is beyond kind and beautiful and smart and of course insanely talented! A truly remarkable person plus my absolute girl crush!!!
Seth Meyers is so much better than that other dude
She's tops. Cheers and G'day from Australia 🇦🇺.
SUCH a good movie. Impossible to predict, suspenseful, and terrifyingly cunning
Rosamund Pike, yet ANOTHER actress I have not heard of previously but am VERY impressed just from her interview! AND she's British. 👍
great film, and great performance ! this scene was terrific, blood , blood, blood
What an absolute Doll. She looked incredible in that scene.
I still get chills when I think about Gone Girl.
Her voice sounds like a more authoritarian Cate Blanchett
I am indefinitely in love with this woman
very talented actress amazing lady
For the record, Fincher absolutely was peeping on them rehearsing
She comes across so well
She was amazing in Gone Girl! But she’s also stunning and beautiful!!
Well she's an amazing actress who is crazy beautiful to boot.
Once again thank you so much for your all support and help, may god bless you and your family, much much love, with my best regards.
wow just saw the movie her performance was too good
Lovely British lady oozing class and confidence 💪❤️
Incredible actress! should have won the Oscar!
I love Rosamund !!
I was so scared of her watching this movie. That sex scene with Neil Patrick Harris will keep haunting me for quite some time. O_O
When Rosamund Pike mentions that both her parents are opera singers and that shes an actress, it actually reminds me of Amy because both of her parents are psychologists and Amy has a doctorates degree in psychology 🤔
I loved gone girl her character was so intriguing I loved her
if you like her, you have to see a movie called "What we did on our holiday". This movie is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
OMG that is one of my go to movie whenever I'm feeling low.
It's just so beautiful and heart warming. The children casts are unbelievably amazing!!!
I've seen stuff where Neil talks about that scene too and I cannot imagine the amount of takes doing that over and over
She is extremely talented , classy and gorgeous!
Great Actress! Yeah, I Remember Seeing Her In The Pilot Of, 'Foyle's War' . . . How Many Years Ago!?! Thank You.
I only watched this to hear Rosemund Pike one of my favorite actresses
Ms. Pike also played Fanny Wincham in an adaptation of Nancy Mitford's "In Pursuit of Love/Love in a Cold Climate", not to be missed.
i love her
Pierce Brosnan in a brilliant sword fight with Toby Stephens, brought under control by an exquisite Rosamund Pike and Halle Berry's homage Urshala Andress makes Die Another Day one of the best Bond Films.
By far the worst bond film lol
She is really amazing. Love her from Equator
I hope she wins!! She deserves it she did phenomenal in this movie!!
She is a great actress! And seems like a lovely person! She also is very funny!
she was really major in the Gone Girl movie, awesome!!
I love her
Excellente et superbe actrice. La classe !
She was amazing
I hope she will win the Oscars.
She was so fantastic.
She has done fantastic job in gone girl
she has a great sense of humor
