Made only one overlap while still leaving acres of space behind to be exploited. Never gets in close on his man. Always takes eons to decide on where to put the ball and still gets it wrong most of the time. Kounde is an absolutely horrific footballer and i wish he was given to Chelsea for free.

A 2-1 victory with Flick is way more entertaining than a 2-1 victory with Xavi, and this is one of the reasons I personally wanted this change. You could see the intensity until the last minute, and actually got more and more intense as time went on.

Today the first half buildup was way too slow, wasn’t the good flow. Raphina and Ferran with lots of good runs behind but never get the ball. Second half was much better, nice to see Pedri back on the pitch and see the influence he have.But it is a solid win with so many youngsters in the lineup⚽️

The first half was very bad because we had no control and that’s caused by the lot of inexperienced players especially in the midfield, Ferran Torres starting didn’t help them either. We had control once Pedri came and chances started to come. I am impressed by the mentality and the constant pressing all game. The highlight of the game is the fitness we had throughout the game very happy about that. Marc Casado is really playing for the badge love to see it but I really want lewandoski to be more involved and in the game not necessarily dropping down in the midfield but always being in option. Cubarsi, Balde, Casado and Lamine . I love how La Masia never fails to deliver in terms of quality. I hope Barca can nurture these youngsters and rest and rotate them enough so they don't get injured like they fucked up with Pedri. We kept on Pushing till the very last minute even despite being ahead in the game. That’s what I absolutely liked about the team. We fought our way back up. That’s the mentality I wanted to see! Xavi was unable to this mentality. Hoping that this continues.

What I learned after the game: - Ferran has to go - Good work ethic from Casado and Raphinha - Ter Stegen feels like hes not confident as much as he was few years ago - Lewandowski great goals, needs to be more involved and stop messing up the build up play - We need a LW, get Kingsley Coman. Under Flick, he would be very good for barca There are improvements under Flick. We controlled the game very well in the end. We were missing Olmo and Pedri (at the start) up front, we started with 2 youngsters in midfield, our best defender is injured. Considering all this, this match gave me a lot of hope. We were a bit sloppy with passes, but I think the sharpness will come as everyone is getting used to the system

First Match First Win,more wins to come,,, it's a good performance from the team and what we really expect from Lewandowski though he can do more and we need to be converting our chances so it won't came back to hunt us... and some fans already given up seeing the line up but they showed we can win with any squad. We didn't have a balanced quality bench!
We had at least 5 midfielders away for various reasons: Olmo, Gavi, de Jong, Gundo, Fermin, so we’re good there. We do look light in the attack though
Considering the players we were missing , and it’s the first game of the season, I’ll take it, not perfect but it seems we’re heading in a new direction. Wonder how we’ll look after flick has had time to bring it all together

What I learned after the game:
- Ferran has to go
- Good work ethic from Casado and Raphinha
- Ter Stegen feels like hes not confident as much as he was few years ago
- Lewandowski great goals, needs to be more involved and stop messing up the build up play
- We need a LW, get Kingsley Coman. Under Flick, he would be very good for barca
There are improvements under Flick. We controlled the game very well in the end. If we shoot better and get our first team players back from injury, this season will be very exciting for us to watch. Visca Barca
Ferran should’ve been gone long time ago. Olmo will be great on that wing. He is clinical and technical. We need get aroujo, Frenkie, Pedri and cancelo and we will be very tough team to beat

This game showed why Olmo is a good fit for Flick's system. The 4 attacking players must be very versatile with freedom to move around. The team will take some time to click but I think this game was good.

raphi as a 10 wont work, we will be loosing control over the midfield, and a pivot of cassado and bernal is good, but when they are paired with a relative matured player, a better version of them comes out. i just really pray for our players to come back from injury asap. and happy for pedri being back, after he coming on we gained control of the game

Pedri slowly getting back to match fitness
Fermin on holiday
Gavi recovering from injury
And he’s playing LW as well b/c Ferran is just poor and can’t deliver. Ansu a big question mark still.
If Frenkie comes back, I hope it’s just a player change. The system is there. These players are going to connect. What’s needed is a consistent starting XI. That’s gonna take time, and we won’t see the best of the team till maybe November…

For the first time in a very long time, Barca played the last 20mins as though we were rather loosing. As a matter or fact you created two big chances!! The first half was messy but the second half was great!

Ter Stegen as always, if the game is getting heated up he completely freazes because he is been the only player going through countless of humiliation so his anxiety kicked right in again. To be completely honest Barcelona this match played horrible, I thought Raphinha was honestly the best player out there but very disappointing on Barca’s end, horrible match.
Yamal, Bernal, Cassado, Kounde, Cubarsi, Balde. Those are purely world class (potential) players.
Ferran Torres, Inigo Martinez and Lewa are not Barca level (anymore).

2. Ferran in our best left wing for us (for now). Raphinha didn't look that comfortable when he move to the left after pedri come in. Of course we didn't see how will ansu/olmo will perform on the left side yet. Hopefully we will see them play soon

I want them to be more clinical. Wasting chances is costly. You’d pay for it.
1st half we got lucky we could have been 4-1behind but 2nd half we really picked ourselves up especially with Pedri and Casado!
We were missing Olmo and Pedri (at the start) up front, we started with 2 youngsters in midfield, our best defender is injured.
Considering all this, this match gave me a lot of hope. We were a bit sloppy with passes, but I think the sharpness will come as everyone is getting used to the system
Flick doesn't turn back to the defence to protect his lead, he keeps on putting pressure on the other team
Raph is not just a winger, he is also a midfielder and a defender
