    Hello,
    If you are using the Ooznest interface for the Duet Web Controller and this kind of models of XYZ-Probe.
    Don't forget that you need to start a Z-5 (or lower) from you Z -Home position and be in a X-Y position roughly aligned with the hole in the probe.
    Thanks for your work on it Ryan!

      Ooznest I’m considering purchasing a workbee does the touch probe come with it?

    • @ooznest
      @ooznest  6 років тому

      Hi, i am afraid it doesn't come with it. But a great little project to make with the machine. We will be releasing a touch probe for the machine soon.

    Really useful - thanks. In the Touch Probe Command Guide document, the Z Probe commands has no G10 command to store the offset co-ordinates. I assume we'd need to add in G10 P0 L20 Z offset value?

    Thank you very much, Ryan, for very informative, interesting and useful videos. Can you please tell if background information is stored somewhere on the www? For example: Is the g-code/GRBL-code for the XYZ-positioning stored somewhere?

    How do I use the offset calculator if I have different measurements of my xyz probe than yours. I don't understand what I'm suppose to be measuring for my probe offsets and travel distances. Do you have a video explaining how to use the offset calculator?

    • @ooznest
      @ooznest  4 роки тому

      I am afraid we don't have a guide how to use the offset calculator. You just need to measure your probe dimensions and then the offset (The part not cut away), and put it into the calculator.

      @@ooznest It be nice to have a short vid as I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Numbers don't seem to add up but then again I'm not 100% sure I'm doing it correctly to being with. Yes I'm still a newbie :)

      Hi Chris, this as 750x750mm WorkBee. The WorkBee uses WorkBee Control: learn.ooznest.co.uk/Guide/How+To+Use+WorkBee+Control/22

    Very interesting and very helpful indeed Ryan, thank you so much, just what I was looking for. Actually, I was going to make one of those touch probes, but can I just ask ........ will you be making some of these and selling them in your shop? I'd buy one : )
    I did notice the wry smile when you mentioned not to forget to remove the crocodile clip from the spindle ................ you speaking from experience!? ; )

    In an electronic point of view, is it just two wired connected to the duet controller or do you also need to add some stuffs like a resistance or something?

    • @ooznest
      @ooznest  5 років тому +2

      Just two wires, like a NO limit switch

      I mean the command to tell to the duet controller that we have connected a zprobe on the duet controller. The probing itself is in your guide in comment.
