Hahahahha. Vote this up!!!!! The Colin Campbell/George Parros cabal will one day be challenged. Put the thugs in charge of the thugs is like making murderers in charge of homicide sentencing.
There's always someone to hammer home the 'facts' on departed sportsman videos. He wasn't a saint, but that behaviour was encouraged back then, and the drug use probably stemmed from having to fight night after night after night. RIP Chris would've sufficed.
That's a good point. CTE is similar to Alzheimer. CTE symptoms typically appear in a person's 40s, while AD symptoms usually appear in a person's 60s. CTE's first symptoms are often related to judgment, reasoning, problem solving, impulse control, and aggression, while AD's first symptoms are usually memory problems.

Okay, I'll try to help you out as to why your figure skating comment is wrong. When Simon receives a totally clean check and slams hisr stick into his opponents face in response, you're basically a piece of garbage. If you don't think this is unacceptable, then imagine the team who was attacked just goes out and hires a 6'8" guy to come out and beat Simon's face into the ice in the next game. When the thug has finished his penalty, then he comes out and smashes your team's best player with his stick and maybe ends the talented guy's career. This isn't UFC.
I understand that when someone has passed away you'd like respect for the person. That said, if this had been posted after Simon's death I'd have been appalled. Given that it's a few years old? It is different. People who do awful things usually have some personal issues. I feel sorry for Simon, but, we can't let this sort of thing go on. Period.

He was once a part of the best line in hockey, "The Capital Punishment" line, with Dale Hunter and Craig Berube.
