Vegas is definitely a jewel and a grown ups playground .. definitely worth the growth in my opinion the place is perfect for more high rise buildings, it’s just so beautiful the mountains so-rounding you in the distance is just breathtaking..
It doesn’t mean a thing until they open the doors, ask any person who lived in Vegas for more than 15 years,it took the resort world 10 years to complete and open and the Fontainebleau almost 20 years 😮
I been said downtown needs a super market, it needs restaurants, shopping, living etc just like normal downtowns
Yet Vegas can’t seem to think of ANYTHING to solve the homeless crisis!🤔
What exactly would you like to see happen?
You want higher taxes, homeless tent cities in your neighborhood?
Let's hear your solutions…
The Supreme Court is hearing a case currently that will hopefully allow cities to deal with encampments, but you wouldn't know that would you?
@@MH_6160 I want the gov to give that SAME energy, urgency, attention, and assistance that migrants get to also be given to the homeless population (many of which are disabled veterans).
What would I like to see happen? Easy. Differentiate between each type/cause and treat accordingly like Europe does.
There are three (for the most part). First being no fault of their own. Second being mental illness or drugs. Third being homeless by choice.
Once you figure out the root cause you can then act accordingly. Shelters aren’t for everyone. But neither is forced rehab. So… figure out why… then offer the necessary options to fix it.
Blame California For Sending Them There 🤷🤷🤷
There is no “solving” bud
I just returned from vegas and stayed downtown , downtown area has gotten so bad with the ghetto and ghetto culture and the homeless . While driving on some of side roads I could not beleive block after block of homeless encampments on the sidewalks all over , I'm sure that brings all kinds of drug issues and crime and who would want to reside downtown and see that out there window basically all the time , no thanks .
I am guessing you never lived in downtown Los angles or Seattle, or San Francisco or New York? All of those cities might be blue, but they all pay more in taxes ( federal income taxes )and have a huge surplus of red state!😮
Lots of neeew customeeeers from the Smith Centeeeeer.
Living in the heart of Las Vegas Nevada is soooooo soooooo expensive and more needs to be done by getting Las Vegas Homeless people off the streets
It’s still the hood
Is it just me or does the on-scene reporter sound a bit like Betty White?
Symphony Park for a city with no classical music scene whatsoever
Can't wait to see Carolyn leave office
A true DINO. like all the other Democrats in Las Vegas.
So far what I see, it's a place where those who could afford to live there, it will be nice. Who doesn't like luxury high-rises go up? Everything is coming up roses lol. As far as homeless/ill people around, the inevitable private security will keep the riff raff out. and out of sight.
More housing in general is always better than just leaving a dirt lot empty
Who the fuck can pay 2,000 a month 4 one bedroom n the hood
Alot of people apparently, or they wouldn't keep building apartments and condo's in that price point.
Vic’s is rich people what about the homeless Las Vegas doesn’t change that landscape
During Oscars term most people can’t afford
