3 Days of SNOW at the LEAN TO Bushcraft Survival Shelter Base Camp

I caught the first snow of the season at the lean to during a three day trip. I built the shelter during the summer for these kind of winter conditions. It started snowing right when I got to the forest which was perfect timing. This was a great opportunity to put my new winter sleeping bag to the test and confirm that I will be able to stay warm. The bag is rated down to 0 degrees F. I believe the temperature got down to 15-20 F “about -10 C”. I ended up doing a few repairs on the shelter while cooking up some food over the duration of my camp. My meals consisted of chicken, steak, potato, eggs, cheese, peppers, garlic ,various other dehydrated meals, and coffee .I prepare all of the meals on the fireplace in the entrance of t he shelter using a rock, my bushcraft grill, camping pot, and frying pan that stays out at the shelter.
