For the purists amongst you, you will already know the origins of this track. For those that don't, check out Tony de Vit-The Dawn, on which it is based? Tony in the mid-90s was a pioneer of the hard house/NRG sound in the UK and the main force behind pushing the sounds and energy of the gay clubs into the mainstream and what we see today. Whilst Signum done a massive job with this, at 55 years of age, it always reminds me of Tony playing in the first "underground" club in my local city. You could rock up and park in the public car park opposite and before you even entered, you knew that Tony was playing and it was going to be a belter of a night. As with many other musical pioneers, he was way ahead of the rest of his time and taken far too soon. RIP Tony de Vit!
The Dawn was a massive tune and the last big one TDV made before his tragic death and the start of hard house turning boring without him to keep it bangin. The thing with TDV was he played hard trance like this in his set/s amongst the bangin' hasd house PS 'this tune was out a couple of years BEFORE The Dawn. This was 96 The Dawn 98. I'm a similar age to you 57 and in the last year started going to all the new reunion raves all day on Saturdays all over London. Far better for our age them being all-dayers and not all-nighters - I love them. Full of late 40s and 50 somethings and the occasional intrepid 60 something.raving like it was 1988-2000 all over again.
Seven minutes of pure bliss no vocal just pure trance on heaven on this what ya got 4 me Trance anthem signum aka Ron Hagen pascal m that’s who signum are DJ solace
1000 times better than the awful vocal version - this was the one you heard in the clubs in London at the birth of the second and world conquering wave of trance from 1996 onwards.
best version by a long margin :)
100%
