"Godzilla Against Mothra" was just on the poster. The translated title is "Mothra vs Godzilla". It's got like three other titles, too.

@@devinthompson8808 Columbia distributed Mothra and I guess still had distribution rights to the character so the distribution company for Mothra vs Godzilla had to change the title
I’m still hoping we get a respective 64’ Mothra from Neca at some point- I can’t scrape the cash and bring myself to buy the old Revoltech anymore.

I just bought this same one 12/13/2019 and I popped in Godzilla vs Mothra while I was unboxing it. The title screen shows the same picture as the poster on the box.

So glad they fixed the figure. It looks miles better than the promotional images. But honestly I'm not to thrild about the atomic breath.

Toho probably intended for that to be the international title at the time of the poster's creation. Of course, when AIP got the rights to it, they released it under the title "Godzilla vs. the Thing".

The poster is the title screen when you watch the movie. So that is the right poster. The original Japanese version.

@@StevensToyReviews No. But I saw other commenters saying the box got the wrong poster look when it doesn't, that's why I threw that in there to clear up all the confusion. But help me try to figure how to get that beam to fit in Godzilla's mouth.
And I checked through all the comments; everyone's commenting on the design of Godzilla, not the poster entirely.
This might be an current moment where the final product is better than the prototype.

I like SHMA as my main collection and NECA as my Show-Me collection.
I must say with total honesty that NECA is getting better with this line...
BUT some collectors (who only collect neca) were disappointed about NO - King Ghidorah figure for Godzilla “ King Of Monsters “ 2019 film in the NECA line. NECA explain some reasons why they took this route but it doesn’t sit well with many diehard Godzilla fans or collectors.
Yes, old news to be sure, I just wondered if Steven is truly happy with his KG figure from SHMA vs the cost ?
This Godzilla 64 came out pretty darn good in my book too.
Talk Nerdy Collectibles A little backstory about that: Those collectors displeasure stems from the fact that Randy from Neca, mislead everyone at SDCC 2018 when he said he had the LICENSE to all four monsters from KOTM but then revealed several months later, at I believe, NYCC, that they were only releasing 4 monsters: Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and an Atomic Blast Godzilla (repaint). When he was called out on his earlier comments at SDCC, Randy insulted said fans on social media and also said it would too expensive to release. Then a week or two later, NECA revealed they were releasing a retooled Alien Queen from “Alien Resurrection” which is about the same size of SH Monsterarts GH. Randy has since blamed these issues on Toho’s restrictive licensing practice, even though he claims to now have the license to create figures of other classic Toho monsters.
Fun Fact :
This movie used to be called Godzilla vs the Thing, and Mothra vs Godzilla.

Yeah, that's just a repaint of the GMK atomic breath effect part. I noticed that back when they first released the in box images.
So how does the texture of the skin feel on this figure feel? Is Neca still using the softer and more malleable plastics from their previous Godzilla releases or is this more like the gritty and harder plastics that are more akin to the SH MonsterArts figures? Because it looks like a harder plastic than we are used to seeing but appearances can be deceiving.
