i personally love the cozy "boring" videos! and you don't owe it to anyone to go out of your way to live an unauthentic life just to be entertaining. living your best life and seeing you thrive is entertaining enough! you're doing great cherie and i'll be cheering you on regardless of what you do
Hi Cherie! I think real, honest living in Korea vlogs would be interesting - grocery shopping; cooking, cleaning at home, chilling at home; running errands. These are things that are relatable to everyone.
Personally, I really love when people film their everyday lives, even during the so called "boring" days. It feels almost like a safe space for me, and I bet plenty of others! I would encourage you to keep posting what you feel like posting, regardless if some people think it's boring because you'll always have supporters (like myself hehe) that'll be watching your videos, no matter what it is. Cheering for you :)
I really appreciate that! It means a lot to know I have supporters who enjoy my vlogs 😊
Cherie, your talk videos are honestly the best, I always feel like I am talking to a friend. Your honest and upbeat personality makes your videos very enjoyable to watch!
I think that person who commented that your life seems boring has been watching too many influencer vlogs whose life revolves around making content. I loved your short little vlog, that was what my life was like when I lived in Korea and it just felt very relatable. When you work a 9-5 job your life ends up being just mostly about work and resting. More people need to show those kinds of days!
I personally love watching "boring" vlogs as it feels like I'm watching something cosy and I feel connected to the person I'm watching😊
I'm so happy to hear that your reel did well on insta! And I'm just happy that you have gotten out of those hard times and can see a positive future, I'm going through those hard times right now so it makes me feel hopefully that one day I feel like that🥰
Cherie, don't feel bad about your content! You are absolutely right, I am one of those people who works, comes home and tries to exercise, and then lies down and watches UA-cam to relax and rest. I like watching other folks in their everyday lives. Do they do exciting stuff sometimes? Sure. But think about regular day to day vlogs. They're popular for a reason. Just do you!
You get it! I’m glad someone else gets that 😊
I love how real your videos feel, plus you like them so that’s Truly all that matters
Sometimes I think it would be impossible to move to Korea and settle down to have a good life and then I watch your videos and it really makes it seem possible. I love the cozy at home videos you make!
I first started following you around 3-4 years ago and it is so heart-warming to see just how happy and content with life you have become after so many hardships
Thank you so much!! ☺️
Love love love the ending clips added into this video! Also, normal life is a blessing. Some may not get it, but those who get it will
I agree! The little things are the best. 🥰
I'm trying to learn Chinese randomly. Like I said you aren't boring. It's cold out I would be the same sometimes to me the daily vlogs are fun cause im a homebody i work and go home. Its relaxing sometimes social media is too fast paced
It's so nice to meet other homebodies! 😂
Personally, although I do like seeing "exciting" content and unique adventures, I am absolutely mesmerised by the possibility to see how people live their authentic, daily life on the other side of the globe. This is what fascinates me the most about UA-cam and the internet in general, the chance to have a real-life exchanges with strangers and being able to actually imagine how life is a far away place would look like. It's so cool and so powerful, it's a different type of content but the "personal" side of it makes it special, compared to a supposedly more exciting documentary about the cool things you can do as a tourist. Hope it makes sense 😂 all to say, your content is perfect for me! I do love chatty videos though, so storytimes and q&as are always my favourite ❤
My body temperature is naturally lower also and the cold almost hurts my body
I think you would look beautiful in light ash brown hair with your complexion. Or even a strawberry blonde!
Thank you for the hair suggestions! I'll have to see if I can try those colors one day 😊
No one leaves their house when it’s cold lol nothing wrong with staying in, staying warm, and saving your money. I like hearing you talk though so feel free to do more chatty videos ❤
I can't wait to watch this later! Good morning! (Well over here.) 🌞
Good morning to you too! 😊
There is in general some sick need to always go out and be productive, why??! I love being home for the weekend and relaxing, charging my social battery for the next week. But people see a day as failed if they don't go out somewhere :/
I feel you, I’m all about cozy weekend vibes! 🥰
hi Cherie, looking forward to the Valentine’s themed Q&A 🥰 single as a pringle btw! i was wondering if you ever miss living in Utah and how you think that environment influenced your decision to move to Seoul. also if you’ve noticed any similarities between the two, i’m very interested to know!
how do the italki classes compare to in-person language classes at the Uni in Seoul, what is your preference if you could devote all your time to learning Korean?
*tries to multitask*
*Something happens*
*Freaks out*
Me 😂
You aren't boring. Sometimes being at home can be an adventure. we love seeing into your life and you doing what you enjoy. If you wanna sit down and chat it's fine, wanna go to a random place cool. Wanna do sleepover vibes cool
💗💗💗💗
예에~! 유 갓 디쓰!!!!고 게름!!
I'm trying to save too and I live in America. Normal life is cool.
I enjoy cosy chill vlogs! But maybe you could film some videos with your boyfriend? Those are always popular and fun to watch 😊 Start with an introduction to how you two met and maybe film couple vlogs in weekends!
No matter what you post, it’s lovely my friend~~ keep doing you :)
would love to see Christian content!!! bible studies, church vlogs, etc!!
Your content is fine. I just want to know that you are happy and well. If your clips like the recent ones on Insta show that, that's all I need. Stay safe, be smart with your heart. As for the moving, Daejeon? Daegu?
earlyyyyyyy
Hi cherie,
I hope you're doing well. I’d love to offer my help with some aspects of your video production.
I can assist with:
Editing your videos to match your channel’s style.
Creating short videos to help grow your audience.
Translating videos to English and adding subtitles.
At first, I won’t ask for any payment.
Best regards,
You don't really like all comments. Only those that are pleasant and without substance. Kind of like your content, no substance.
She said she /reads/ all comments, in that context she meant that she will definitely see any suggestions about upcoming content, which is what she was talking about in that section of the video. Also, if you got so far watching a video you considered without substance and even left a comment, maybe you should evaluate your free time 😅 Like she said, her content is not about big, cool stuff, this is a creative outlet and she had a full-time job. If you don't enjoy this type of content, why watching it? You didn't even leave a constructive criticism, you just blatantly insulted her and even missed the point of that sentence 😅
