Mate I respect your needs to be a risk taker but when you walk on slippery footing , either use a correct boots or take a pick to use on the side of the cliff . I really felt for Finn but I was super rapt you took off by yourself the next day as I do this myself when travelling OS with the family . A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do RIGHT Tim !!!! P.S Love this vid , it is my favourite so far full of adrenaline :)))))
Awe! I felt so bad for you Fin. I could feel the concern in your voice. Glad your both safe. I really enjoy going on the adventures with you. It puts a smile on my face.
A miracle morning, drinking out of that big cup, telling pepper she’s a good girl 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣 You are hilarious! Why do you guys not have more followers?! Promote yourselves more - You are great! Binge watching since yesterday. My husband and I are totally enjoying your adventures
You are both very courageous..more than I ever will be...I can only imagine what Fin was thinking if anything happened to Tim all out there in the middle of nowhere..I would had broken down myself...Have fun and be safe..love your videos❤❤ and Pepper too🐶🐶
You guys are awesome! I get Fin's concern for you to come back. But, tbh. I would have done the same thing. Tbh, I did do the same thing(In Hawaii). I kind of understand the lonewolf trip the next day. But in the end you both had a great memorable time, nobody got hurt or died, and ya'lls trip continues. Look forward to the next episode.
New subbies here!!! Love your videos. I was dying at the Mad Max bit 😂😂😂Marriage is all about balance, learning how to take risks together within the respectable bounds of the other’s comfort zone. Tim came back when he realized Fin was serious and that’s what a good husband would do. A good wife sends him out the next day to let him get it all out of his system without having to watch 😂👌🏻 much love guys!! 😘💜
Incidentally, after Fin looked at what I did the next day she said she would have greatly preferred to do the slickrock crawling! Even though it was at much slower speed, I was freaking out climbing a lot of those hills.
Tim, I am an adrenaline seeker too. I would do what you do without hesitation. I know my limits. Did not know Fin was afraid of heights. Maybe adventure hiking is not her thing. Thats ok though. Having alone activities and having together activities in same rv is always advised. You each need space. Thats what makes a good relationship work.
I don't blame her for not going out with you the next day after you scared her into tears. If you were my son I'd have to give you and old-fashion wood shed experience for making Fin and Pepper cry like that. People have slipped and fell over cliffs like that. Tring to prove they could make it... They made it into a body bag... Your just lucky she didn't leave you out there to walk back. But no she loves you too much. To bad you didn't love her enough to have turned around when she first asked you too. You had to keep going until you scared her to tears. I bet you felt like a real man then didn't you.... When a man really loves a woman he dose his best not to ever make her cry... And the same goes for a woman... I've been married to the same lady for 40 years and I've done things that she got mad about. But I've never push a limit that made her cry asking not to do something... Any time my wife asked me not to do something I didn't do it, no matter how bad I wanted to do it. I loved her enough to honor her wishes....
We've been down (group of 4 couples) to Moab, and we've been out to Chicken Corners too...stopped there and had lunch! Our wives had their own quads (as did we) so there WAS a fair bit of dust, so I always stayed back about 1/4 of mile to let the dust settle some. Unsure if you got to any of the Puebloen Cliff Dwellings in the area, but they where truly amazing to see, making you wonder how folks lived hundreds of years ago in the cliff's with their families, yet had to grow their food in the low lands. We'd usually go to many of the Moab rides (there are many) in the four or five times we've been down (from western Canada) and even into Colorado some. We haven't done the canoe ride down the Colorado though....so that looks exciting, albeit I'd prefer staying 'in' the canoe. My wife and I have done the week long 'Bowron Lake' loop in British Columbia, as well as a 100 mile trip down the Columbia River in BC. with another family and our two daughters and their four kids....it was a blast, other than the damn mosquito's. Twice, we had no choice but to set up the tent within 4' of railway tracks, so we'd have to hold the sides of the tent when trains would pass through the night...then fight off the mosquito's in the morning before heading back onto the river! There's a ton of fun things to do, and I'm very much enjoying what you two are enjoying in your adventures. It reminds me much of my wife & I....before house/kids and bills of course, but wouldn't do it any other way when looking back on it! Now, it's our Class A diesel pusher....and our 'towed'....with adventures of our own, too see more of 'small town' America! As well as meet others doing similar adventures of course! Thanks for the time you put in on your edits, as I know of the time and effort taken...it's appreciated big time!
Great Question! We're extra careful with this little nugget. We ALWAYS get an RV park with power if its going to be hot at all so we can leave the AC on while we're gone. This was a bit of a hot trip to take her on out in the Moab but she'd always rather go than get left behind at the RV. The RV does get scorching if we're boondocking so we'd never leave her behind there since we can't leave the AC running. On our day trips (like doing the river raft in Moab) we typically get a Rover and drop her off. It might be a little over cautious but with as hot as it was in Moab or anywhere in the SouthWest really, we wan'ted to err on the side of caution. More often than not we bring her with us. Just throw her in a little backpack and away we go!
Fin acted just like me when my girlfriend went all the way around the corner...I was in panic mode thinking she was going to slip. As she went around it gets worse right as she was disappearing around the bend!
If you are going thru Oregon, there is a great rafting spot on the Idaho/Oregon boarder called Hell's canyon. You go down the river on rafts and/or kayaks and come back up the river thru the rapids in a jet boat (vry cool trip). I went down starting on a raft and a guy freaked out and gave me his Kayak he had rented and got into the raft. Little did I know, I was going to go thru a class 5 my first time in a kayak. When I saw you with your sun glasses going thru rapids I couldn't help but be reminded. I made almost all the way thru when I flipped over and amazingly was able to hold on to my hat and Serengeti sun glasses. Luckily, that was the only time I flipped:) Keep the videos coming!
It's awesome! There are walls the go up from the river in spots thousands of feet. Do some research on it. visitidaho.org/things-to-do/natural-attractions/hells-canyon-national-recreation-area-idaho/
Thanks for sending that link. I think Idaho needs to get the word out there about how beautiful it is- we had no idea....probably because we're from the midwest. We did the drive north through idaho falls and then east into teton. It was awesome approaching from the West.
Hi guys. It feels like I have been around the world with you guys. I do follow several RV and travel couples and the one thing they all could improve upon is the "B roll," as you call it. You know...less heads talking in wide angle; and, more of the environment. But give Tim a break, he has to be intoxicated by your lovely face. Your channel is the exception to the rule....we need more face; go wherever you will. :) Oh, hi Pepper, you're a hoot. Thanks for letting us intrude some into your beautiful bubble. Adios from Indiana.
Thanks Monty! We’ve recently been swarmed in a sea of unpleasant comments recently and this one just made our day! We lived in Fishers outside of Indy for a year and Tim is a Hoosier! 🤘
@@timandfin Oh, you're very welcome. I worked as a news photographer for several years after graduation from IU. I learned the hard way how the safety of the internet draws some people and brings out the worst at times. I think I have some insight to the stresses from opening yourself to that public space. I work as a hospital RN and the nights are grueling. I love the getaway I feel travelling with you guys. I have the big truck now and the travel trailer that is waiting for me to do travel nursing. Alaska is a goal, and that's where I first found you. I want to feel the spirit you captured in Pepper on the Salt Flats, ears pinned back, and diving into the air like Superman:) Tim, you have world wrapped up in a bow. Cheers from Btown.
Yes, I was there for a motorcycle rally, so I was camping the whole time. It was god awful hot when I left so I'm so glad I was there at the end of May and not peak summer. However, since it was a holiday weekend, all of the hotels were full and even the ones that normally let people pay to use their shower, weren't, and anywhere that had food in town was like an hour wait during peak food times. The best bit was Monday when everyone was leaving, there was a line of stopped traffic heading north out of town starting at 8am and didn't teeter out til 2pm. XD I waited until Monday to go to Arches because all weekend the line going into the park was like 2 hours.
Looks like a Blast!! We're headed there in June.. Gonna whitewater, zipline, and ATV.. (But NOT Chickens Corners - We're both chickens when it comes to that..) Here's something I've learned after 35 years of marriage - "Happy Wife, Happy Life".
Kristin those are good old trusty Ray Ban Wayfarers. I didn’t have them attached at all to my face when we went over in the kayak and can’t believe I didn’t lose them!!!
That last shot of 'road' you were driving on? Wow, yeah, no thanks! I would've had to get out and walk. LOL It looked way too narrow and high to be driving on! Although by all the black, everyone does. Again thanks for a great vid!
It doesn’t matter if the fear of another is considered to be unrealistic, if you love that person, you don’t willfully cause them to experience that horrible, choking, overwhelming negative emotion! When you have the power to cause another joy or crippling fear, why would you choose the latter? My niece has an overwhelming fear of spiders, especially granddaddy long legs. It doesn’t matter that those things can’t bite her or cause her harm. We would never force her to touch one, or allow her brother to throw one at her! It doesn’t matter if we think the fear is irrational. It’s simply a matter of respect. So just wondering if walking on the path was so valuable to you that it was worth the price your wife paid? And the price you paid, because such disregard and disrespect most definitely affects the relationship that is supposed to be built on these very things.
Anyone else yelling at there phone for Tim to stop? If that was my husband out there he would have done the same since he wouldn’t have been scared while I’m sitting there scared out of my mind asking him to turn around.
watched about 20 episodes of your travel, I realized one of you are very chill, and the other one is on the annoying side! When visiting a new place, you have no idea what to expect, so bringing a full cooler of food is really not a big deal... I would have walk as far away as possible too if my other half is pissing/yelling about a cooler!
Damn, Tim you are getting so much hate. Personally I think people should stay out of your marriage. However, I would have done the hike, looks like a blast.
Hey jackie!- Had a bit of a feeling the kind of feedback we'd get on this.....it's okay though. Hopefully it helps answer peoples constant questions of "do you ever fight?" Yes-often- and over stupid things like this!
DUDE, FUBAR! How dare you treat your wife like that. Next time leave her at the trailer. Where is the rest of the video going up and over/back around the last hill/trail you were on?
Joseph Fleming that’s at a slick rock area called Hells Revenge. Hah we couldn’t list that in our description because UA-cam kept flagging it as a bad word 😂
Finney still likes me. I was never in any danger because I promised her at our wedding that I would never die.
Mate I respect your needs to be a risk taker but when you walk on slippery footing ,
either use a correct boots or take a pick to use on the side of the cliff .
I really felt for Finn but I was super rapt you took off by yourself the next day
as I do this myself when travelling OS with the family .
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do RIGHT Tim !!!!
P.S Love this vid , it is my favourite so far full of adrenaline :)))))
I actually think you'd have been ok to go farther but a hypersensitive wife is far more dangerous than those cliffs!! Everyone needs a fin ♡
Awe! I felt so bad for you Fin. I could feel the concern in your voice. Glad your both safe. I really enjoy going on the adventures with you. It puts a smile on my face.
I love that you include the moments in your travel that are less than amicable. Real life, real relationship.
We definitely talked about what we included here....it's getting easier to share stuff like this though.
I truly love you guys!
Us too. Love their sense of humor too.
Thanks guys we love you too 😆😆

I had to show my wife this video, it's exactly what we do. It reminded me of the last time we were hiking the ridges in Hawaii

Measured risks. The path was way wider than it looked- I am also really scared of heights so I wouldn't have done anythign too crazy.

I went out to Chicken Corners today, total feel your pain no one can understand how crazy it is until you have been there and seen it.

Between the "Uutaaaarrrrhhh" mid Class II, the "war rig" comment, and the SurvivorMan inspired camera angles... this may be my new favorite episode 😂
PS - #WelcomeToThunderDome
We all have "UTARGGHHHHHHH" in our hearts. Good to see you here bro!

Just love you guys! Alli would have done the same thing being scared/pissed if I was hiking a ledge like that. What beautiful place though!!
I love Moab!! Wish I had visited /not/ during Memorial Day Weekend haha, but it was still amazing!
It was like a ski town, but with off-roading. We baked a lil bit in the RV. Guessing that Memorial day was pretty packed in the area?

Nice going Tim you made your wife cry. Not good dude. Not good
Bless Fin’s Heart

Kristin those are good old trusty Ray Ban Wayfarers. I didn’t have them attached at all to my face when we went over in the kayak and can’t believe I didn’t lose them!!!
A guy has to do what he has too...Thats awesome...
Finally! Someone on my side!✊
Okay.......that last shot....Did you go over that?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only way out was forward!
My hands were sweating. I hate heights. Tim STOP.
That last shot of 'road' you were driving on? Wow, yeah, no thanks! I would've had to get out and walk. LOL It looked way too narrow and high to be driving on! Although by all the black, everyone does. Again thanks for a great vid!
Seeing that other people drive up the rock is the only thing that kept my foot on the gas. The video doesn't do it justice- it was pretty terrifying.
I didn't get to be a old man by walking on trails like that.... The buggy is cool.. and the river in on my list.
Jake Hoskins the river was so great. Perfect mix of enjoyment and adrenaline.
i get where fin was coming from but i prob would of done the same tim.
The facemopper yeahhh😄😄😂😂😂😂
I understand Alison's concern. Not that hard to bump that side wall, slip, and have momentum carry you over the edge.
That class 1 rapid! Hahahahhahahah
This one didn’t leave me feeling good.

I doubted it is about the thrill seeking, when someone next to me getting really annoying, I would walk away too!
We like your adventures, but not crazy about the "taking chances adrenaline" stuff! I would have been just like you Fin!!

I love you guys and your videos. But honestly Tim, it might have not been narrow, but it was still very scary. Hugs Fin!
wtf tim?? i'd be so pissed too.
I know! I know!
love you guys!
Anatomy of a breakup-?
Fin. You’re me hun I would be shaking I was so mad/sacred
But also a little jealous I wouldn’t be brave enough to go too
Hah thanks for the support ☺️
And yes... haha me too. Someone had to protect Pepper 😎
NO TIM NOT COOL!
OMG... I can't watch...
Way go be a man Tim!
Damn, Tim you are getting so much hate. Personally I think people should stay out of your marriage. However, I would have done the hike, looks like a blast.

Stop, Tim
This part was really cute ❤️
Care and dare don’t go together in life lasting love..
Really, Tim?! Fin, men can just be stupid sometimes!
Shame on you Tim!
DUDE, FUBAR! How dare you treat your wife like that. Next time leave her at the trailer. Where is the rest of the video going up and over/back around the last hill/trail you were on?

You call that courageous that’s selfish.think about your wife.
