I believe she needs to let go of the entertainment industry. She is under the impression that she can still work in an industry that is the “ devil’s playground” and she does need discipleship. I believe she is sincere and needs to change her circle. Praying for her 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Sanctification is a process from inside out. At least it was for me. I didn’t change overnight even though I was hearing sound doctrine. These are strongholds, for some people they come tumbling down in one day for others it may take years. Pray for her. I’m telling you, there are things that only God can do.
When celebrities convert and get saved, they need to step out of the spotlight for awhile. They start talking on these interviews and platforms about their change and there's no time given for growth. They want to maintain their fame and relevance. Praying she really allows the Holy Spirit to convict and transform her and doesn't be given over to the spirit of offense. It's an ongoing process towards perfecting our walk in Christ until He returns. 🙏🏾

I understand her because I was once her. It a process. I used to show up to church dressed like a street worker instead of the ladies guiding me and teaching me they laughed at me and criticized me. I remember telling them instead of laughing at me what Don’t you tell me what is so funny and tell me how I can change it. Isn’t that what Jesus would do? I didn’t know much about Jesus but I did know he has compassion. I went from church to church because they were very judgmental while they were doing their dirt in hiding. I finally gave up on church. Still searching for the truth. It is a process, of unlearning old behavior and coming into the kingdom. It does not happen overnight. In reading some of these comments I would run right back to the world. There is a time to slap someone with the truth and there is a time to hold your tongue and mentor someone. She just started her process. Let her go at her own pace. Stop condemning the women
I'm sorry those things happened to you in the church. Unfortunately, some forget to extend grace where they've been given grace. God is still faithful and there are still some good churches around. I agree with you same way. With love and kindness we draw others to Christ.

We don't judge her. The holy spirit will convict her in due time. God doesn't pile up a list of do's and dont's on baby Christians. The holy spirit convicts them step by step according to his own pace. Let's encourage them
This is a test for Angela. People are trying to correct her in a loving way, but she sees it as unrighteous judgement. Now, one or two things can happen. If she really wants to keep working on her relationship with God , she will make steps in that direction on changing her appearance. Next, if she really doesn’t want to work in her relationship with God, she will shrink back, blame the people, and not change. If she shrinks back, then this will prove to herself first that her heart was not truly set on changing , but more of a recuse from the torment she was facing. A lot of people want to be saved but don’t want to change 😢. She will see that this will not work for long. I hope she is not looking at other “ christian” women in the way they dress inappropriately and think that’s ok. We should keep praying for Ms. Angela , but keep standing for what is right and gently correct as the Word of God says.
Instead of over-analyzing her walk with Christ, we should be interceding for her in prayer and pleading the blood of Jesus over her. You can not expect a fairly new Christian, a babe in Christ, to be completely changed this soon after getting saved. Give her time and grace to be transformed from the inside out. She gave up a lot, and the idea of giving up everything all at once might be overwhelming. Becoming born-again happens in an instant, but the renewing of the mind takes time. It's a process. Sanctification is a process, and God is not through with her yet. I had a friend who immediately gave up alcohol and clubbing when he got saved, but he still smoked cigarettes. When I asked if he had plans to stop smoking, he said no. He said that he couldn't give up everything and that he had to have some fun. A few years later, he has also given up cigarettes and is totally committed to living Holy. We have to embrace our newer brothers and sisters in Christ, showing them love, patience, and empathy while extending encouragement and grace.

I literally came to say this… I grew up in church but when I truly submitted myself to God, he convicted me of fornication. Years later he convicted me of idolatry through sororities and Eastern Star. Then he convicted me of how I dressed and later, music and movies. Today, he’s still purging things not like him. So it is a process as you grow through studying his word, praying, & fasting. As you said, let’s pray for the veil to be removed from her eyes. I have to remind myself of this verse: “At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,” Titus 3:3-6 NIV

Yes, it is more appropriate and expected for Christian women to dress modestly, but not doing so doesn't threaten their salvation. It's a maturity issue, not a salvation issue. It is not uncommon for young women coming out of the world to find it challenging to make the adjustment to dressing more modestly. There are some issues that warrant a public correction, such as Christians practicing witchcraft or idolatry, but the way they dress does not warrant this kind of response, especially for a new Christian. Many of the young women who are most influenced by her in that way are probably in the same or similar line of work that she left behind and a response like this from the Christian community can make these women think twice about becoming a part of a community that publicly condemns one another. I'm more concerned about her influence on those young women's decision to come to Christ than I am about her influence on the way they dress because as they draw nearer to Christ, they will feel less and less comfortable dressing in anyway less than modest.
Because she went on a huge platform to say these things then I think she should be addressed publicly just for the sake of those that follow her. Yes God changes us little by little but the second a person comes to Christ you literally see the change in their behaviors, the way they dress and they’re very careful when they speak about God. I went through this as a Christian but not particularly with clothes because after i became saved, i began dressing more modestly. It was more sinning in general, but i chose better because my heart eventually changed. And i saw the benefits of not doing it anymore. As a woman, we'll attract different people, energies and treatment based on how we're dressed. Im grateful that my past isn't plastered all over the damn place but but with that being said... If her relationship with Christ is real, she'll eventually repent and do better. Nobody is perfect, the first step (which a lot of people will never make until its too late) is more important... She's at least saved, i give her props for that and probably changing others. None of us are perfect, none of us are going to be perfect but at least she made an effort to change... Even if it is halfhearted.
People needs to stop playing with the Lord. Jesus is not a trend this is the very reason why I do not get self involved with worldly people who confess salvation. This is minipulation to the highest to want to be seen differently when their heart is not for God. It just takes discernment to know her "baptism" was all a ploy. This is the comment that I was looking for. Many people are not being discipled. Jesus tols us to teach all that He commanded. Unfortunately, people are not being taught how to live for God. As the Body of Christ, we are not fulfilling our assignment to disciple people. Where are the spiritual leaders who baptized her? I feel someone/an overseer has not been truthful to her or maybe she failed to fully understand Yahweh’s word. So yes grace shall be given for those reasons. Because when one becomes a true new creature in Christ your EVERYTHING changes, the way you walk changes, the way you talk, you no longer lean to your own understanding, you can’t wait to tell someone about your newly found Love(Yahweh)! You become a representative of the Most High! Our bodies have never been our own, we belong to God body and soul, and the body we have functions as a temple of the Holy Spirit. We are to glorify Him with our bodies in secret rather than decorate the temple. Failing to fully understand bible teachings as a young lady, I was in a rebellious state towards my mom and tattooed my body, pain became a pleasure for me for painful things I experienced. When the mother of the church took me under her wings and broke it down to me and once I became new in Christ to this day I feel a sense of embarrassment as I sing before the people on the praise team at church. I found out a price was paid for this temple I dwell in and I affected it by decorating it, when His word says I was already beautiful and wonderfully made. I felt I rejecting His created masterpiece of me. As saying thanks but no thanks I want me to look as such. Sooo I say all that to say, maybe she could dive deeper into the word, gain true understanding and start over again. I will add her to my prayers to gain His wisdom and His knowledge, someone to pour true word into her, heart(mind) renewal, consistent prayer, her ears to be sensitive like Samuel to hear Gods voice clearly. Not many people at all on the comments mentioning we should pray for her. We judge secular singers who become saved very harshly and demand!!! They get it right and get in line to be immediately Holy as God says be yes Holy. Take a breath … breathe and pray for her!!! We should be patient with her, she's still pretty fresh. Most of us know that repentance and deliverance usually turns out to be more of a process than an instant occurrence. The Holy Spirits transforms our hearts and by extension our desires. Pray that the Holy Spirit continues to minister to her. Some people have to walk through the process of shedding things. The light comes....and the light is true from Jesus- perhaps she doesn't have many people around her who ministers to her in Holiness. I believe she is desiring to be translated into the kingdom Christ so let us pray that she will come to it sooner rather than later. In my experience, it was only through the gift of knowledge and understanding from the Holy Spirit that I understood certain things like dressing etc. Keep her in prayer
Preach it! I believe if you love Jesus and His presence, you just CAN NOT continue dressing provocatively. You just don't have the need to do it. Concerning the worldly music, of course you wouldn't die if you hear it in a store, or wherever. But the pure child of God finds worldly music annoying; the spirits behind it bother them. And yes, all this is in a great measure the result of the lack of sound doctrine.

She then bragged that she had 2 bishops show up. Then she proceeded to say that, she got baptized now SHE had to do the work now. She was tired of all the drama in her life blah blah blah, the usual false doctrine of so many churches "if you believe in Jesus, your life will get better". No mention of sin against a Holy God, no conviction, no taking up your cross to follow Him, no living sacrifice. This false christianity is the religion of the antichrist. I am involuntarily divorced. Coming up on two years now I’ve struggled on and off with certain sexual sins, mainly fantasies, real recently I’ve been battling heavy fantasies about wearing a skimpy speedo swimsuit to seduce a woman that I’m on a beach date with (in said fantasy, not in reality). This has lead to me struggling with masturbation. It’s so frustrating because I had a wife for seven years and was mostly sound in mind but now I’m divorced against my will and all of a sudden struggling. Renewing the mind and killing the flesh is no joke I’ll tell you that. My conversation with God lately has been, if He wants me to be like Paul, make me like Paul, no more sexual desire at all etc, but if he wants me married grant me a new wife, because God’s word seems to leave zero middle ground. She is somewhat right. She is not less of a Christian because she wears something or listens to something. However, she is less of a witness in regards to holiness and righteousness. Her core Christian beliefs don’t change based on the outward appearance, but she does miss the mark on what it means to be called out from the world. I don’t blame her for this. When most of us were newly saved we missed the mark a million times a million. I drank alcohol at weddings, I wore spaghetti strap dresses, I listened to vulgar music etc. None of those things changed what I believed in my heart to be true. That Jesus Christ came into the world, died in Calvary, rose on the 3rd day, and saved us from an eternity in hell. However, years and years went by until Holy Spirit took His place in my life and brought about conviction and wisdom. Eventually the more worldly things that I held on to began to fall away and not appeal to me. This is also true for most if not all Christians who are truly saved. It’s not an over night cure. I still struggle with unforgiveness but God is just now taking me through the process of forgiving. Two years from now He will probably reveal so many more things that make me less like Him. That’s a part of the process.
I have watched many people come to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. It takes usually a while after they become Christians to shake off some things of the world. Like music they listen to, drinking alcohol, tv programs etc. it’s like the closer they walk with the Lord the less they tolerate the ways acceptable to the world…the more separate they become. It is the role of the church, with love, to correct improper behavior such as women dressing proactively. The church should guide her to scriptures about being a Godly woman. Most churches don’t do this unfortunately. The things this woman said are blatantly in direct opposition to scripture. It does not seem she’s truly born again.

I currently live in the Caribbean and it is just too much being exposed. The weather gets.so hot and humid here so many women, of all ages, dress like strippers. Even at church it is rediculous. The preachers won't address this issue because l think they like looking at other women like that.

When a woman intentionally wears apparel to showcase their bodies to the world for attracting attention to themselves & to their flesh that is what is called "Fleshly idolatry." It is the exaltation & the worship of the works of the flesh. When one claims follow the biblical Messiah/Jesus Christ, it is no longer about you &/or your flesh. A true follower of Christ denies himself to follow Christ, not his/her flesh or the ways of the world. It's one thing to claim, profess &/or identify as a 'Christian, but it's another thing to know & understand what it really means to be a "Christian" in life & reality. I BLAME THE CHURCH ‼️ They are so lukewarm and watered down of the GOSPEL and WORD of GOD. That she does not feel the need or conviction to change because the church is just as wordly as those who claim the name Jesus Christ. There's no difference. I don't think it was false. It is poor discipleship. Also, most churches in NA have not done a good job in raising sound believers. We can't seem to differentiate between believers and non-believers. They entertain anything and no sound doctrine. Just pray for her.

@@Matthew-cz3gk Everyone’s growth process is different. The issue we have in today’s church is that we have Pastor, ministers that compromise and are not solid with the word of God. Imagine being raised and mentored in church that is comfortable with youths sleeping around before marriage etc. What we need to pray for is for God to raise an army full of the spirit, word, integrity and holiness. Also pray for the weak ones like her, Kanye etc. This happens to all believers. They get really strong and so in love with Jesus at the initial state of giving their lives to Him but gradually lose that love and passion for Jesus. Proper discipleship helps with that.

She may not have a lukewarm preacher/ teacher she has to do the work. The best teaching in the world can be given and you still fail the test. I understand her because I was once her. It a process. I used to show up to church dressed like a street worker instead of the ladies guiding me and teaching me they laughed at me and criticized me. I remember telling them instead of laughing at me what Don’t you tell me what is so funny and tell me how I can change it. Isn’t that what Jesus would do? I didn’t know much about Jesus but I did know he has compassion. I went from church to church because they were very judgmental while they were doing their dirt in hiding. I finally gave up on church. Still searching for the truth. It is a process, of unlearning old behavior and coming into the kingdom. It does not happen overnight. In reading some of these comments I would run right back to the world. There is a time to slap someone with the truth and there is a time to hold your tongue and mentor someone. She just started her process. Let her go at her own pace. Stop condemning the women
I'm sorry those things happened to you in the church. Unfortunately, some forget to extend grace where they've been given grace. God is still faithful and there are still some good churches around. I agree with you same way. With love and kindness we draw others to Christ.

This is a test for Angela. People are trying to correct her in a loving way, but she sees it as unrighteous judgement. Now, one or two things can happen. If she really wants to keep working on her relationship with God , she will make steps in that direction on changing her appearance.
Next, if she really doesn’t want to work in her relationship with God, she will shrink back, blame the people, and not change. If she shrinks back, then this will prove to herself first that her heart was not truly set on changing , but more of a recuse from the torment she was facing.
A lot of people want to be saved but don’t want to change 😢. She will see that this will not work for long. I hope she is not looking at other “ christian” women in the way they dress inappropriately and think that’s ok.
We should keep praying for Ms. Angela , but keep standing for what is right and gently correct as the Word of God says.
Instead of over-analyzing her walk with Christ, we should be interceding for her in prayer and pleading the blood of Jesus over her. You can not expect a fairly new Christian, a babe in Christ, to be completely changed this soon after getting saved. Give her time and grace to be transformed from the inside out. She gave up a lot, and the idea of giving up everything all at once might be overwhelming. Becoming born-again happens in an instant, but the renewing of the mind takes time. It's a process. Sanctification is a process, and God is not through with her yet. I had a friend who immediately gave up alcohol and clubbing when he got saved, but he still smoked cigarettes. When I asked if he had plans to stop smoking, he said no. He said that he couldn't give up everything and that he had to have some fun. A few years later, he has also given up cigarettes and is totally committed to living Holy. We have to embrace our newer brothers and sisters in Christ, showing them love, patience, and empathy while extending encouragement and grace.

I literally came to say this… I grew up in church but when I truly submitted myself to God, he convicted me of fornication. Years later he convicted me of idolatry through sororities and Eastern Star. Then he convicted me of how I dressed and later, music and movies. Today, he’s still purging things not like him. So it is a process as you grow through studying his word, praying, & fasting. As you said, let’s pray for the veil to be removed from her eyes. I have to remind myself of this verse: “At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. Yes, it is more appropriate and expected for Christian women to dress modestly, but not doing so doesn't threaten their salvation. It's a maturity issue, not a salvation issue. It is not uncommon for young women coming out of the world to find it challenging to make the adjustment to dressing more modestly. There are some issues that warrant a public correction, such as Christians practicing witchcraft or idolatry, but the way they dress does not warrant this kind of response, especially for a new Christian.
Many of the young women who are most influenced by her in that way are probably in the same or similar line of work that she left behind and a response like this from the Christian community can make these women think twice about becoming a part of a community that publicly condemns one another. I'm more concerned about her influence on those young women's decision to come to Christ than I am about her influence on the way they dress because as they draw nearer to Christ, they will feel less and less comfortable dressing in anyway less than modest.
Because she went on a huge platform to say these things then I think she should be addressed publicly just for the sake of those that follow her. Yes God changes us little by little but the second a person comes to Christ you literally see the change in their behaviors, the way they dress and they’re very careful when they speak about God. If she’s a “Christian” yet says these stuff and there’s no change at all and she’s supposedly been a Christian for over six months now and you’re telling me God hasn’t convict her about her dressing and her lifestyle? I went through this as a Christian but not particularly with clothes because after i became saved, i began dressing more modestly. It was more sinning in general, but i chose better because my heart eventually changed. And i saw the benefits of not doing it anymore. As a woman, we'll attract different people, energies and treatment based on how we're dressed. Im grateful that my past isn't plastered all over the damn place but but with that being said... If her relationship with Christ is real, she'll eventually repent and do better. Nobody is perfect, the first step (which a lot of people will never make until its too late) is more important... She's at least saved, i give her props for that and probably changing others.

This is the comment that I was looking for. Many people are not being discipled. Jesus tols us to teach all that He commanded. Unfortunately, people are not being taught how to live for God. As the Body of Christ, we are not fulfilling our assignment to disciple people. Where are the spiritual leaders who baptized her? Are they still walking with her and pointing her to the things of Jesus?
I feel someone/an overseer has not been truthful to her or maybe she failed to fully understand Yahweh’s word. So yes grace shall be given for those reasons. Because when one becomes a true new creature in Christ your EVERYTHING changes, the way you walk changes, the way you talk, you no longer lean to your own understanding, you can’t wait to tell someone about your newly found Love(Yahweh)! You become a representative of the Most High! Our bodies have never been our own, we belong to God body and soul, and the body we have functions as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Failing to fully understand bible teachings as a young lady, I was in a rebellious state towards my mom and tattooed my body, pain became a pleasure for me for painful things I experienced. When the mother of the church took me under her wings and broke it down to me and once I became new in Christ to this day I feel a sense of embarrassment as I sing before the people on the praise team at church. I found out a price was paid for this temple I dwell in and I affected it by decorating it, when His word says I was already beautiful and wonderfully made. I felt I rejecting His created masterpiece of me. As saying thanks but no thanks I want me to look as such. Sooo I say all that to say, maybe she could dive deeper into the word, gain true understanding and start over again. I will add her to my prayers to gain His wisdom and His knowledge, someone to pour true word into her, heart(mind) renewal, consistent prayer, her ears to be sensitive like Samuel to hear Gods voice clearly.

The Holy Spirits transforms our hearts and by extension our desires. Pray that the Holy Spirit continues to minister to her. Some people have to walk through the process of shedding things. The light comes....and the light is true from Jesus- perhaps she doesn't have many people around her who ministers to her in Holiness. I believe she is desiring to be translated into the kingdom Christ so let us pray that she will come to it sooner rather than later. Preach it! I believe if you love Jesus and His presence, you just CAN NOT continue dressing provocatively. You just don't have the need to do it. Concerning the worldly music, of course you wouldn't die if you hear it in a store, or wherever. But the pure child of God finds worldly music annoying; the spirits behind it bother them. And yes, all this is in a great measure the result of the lack of sound doctrine.

I am involuntarily divorced. Coming up on two years now I’ve struggled on and off with certain sexual sins, mainly fantasies, real recently I’ve been battling heavy fantasies about wearing a skimpy speedo swimsuit to seduce a woman that I’m on a beach date with (in said fantasy, not in reality). This has lead to me struggling with masturbation. She was a plant from the beginner. No--she's not a baby Christian, deceived, or ignorant; *she's a plant*
She is somewhat right. She is not less of a Christian because she wears something or listens to something. However, she is less of a witness in regards to holiness and righteousness. Her core Christian beliefs don’t change based on the outward appearance, but she does miss the mark on what it means to be called out from the world. I don’t blame her for this. When most of us were newly saved we missed the mark a million times a million. I drank alcohol at weddings, I wore spaghetti strap dresses, I listened to vulgar music etc. None of those things changed what I believed in my heart to be true. That Jesus Christ came into the world, died in Calvary, rose on the 3rd day, and saved us from an eternity in hell. However, years and years went by until Holy Spirit took His place in my life and brought about conviction and wisdom. Eventually the more worldly things that I held on to began to fall away and not appeal to me. This is also true for most if not all Christians who are truly saved. It’s not an over night cure. I still struggle with unforgiveness but God is just now taking me through the process of forgiving. Two years from now He will probably reveal so many more things that make me less like Him. That’s a part of the process.

I have watched many people come to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. It takes usually a while after they become Christians to shake off some things of the world. Like music they listen to, drinking alcohol, tv programs etc. it’s like the closer they walk with the Lord the less they tolerate the ways acceptable to the world…the more separate they become.
It is the role of the church, with love, to correct improper behavior such as women dressing proactively. The church should guide her to scriptures about being a Godly woman. Most churches don’t do this unfortunately.

I currently live in the Caribbean and it is just too much being exposed. The weather gets.so hot and humid here so many women, of all ages, dress like strippers. Even at church it is rediculous. The preachers won't address this issue because l think they like looking at other women like that.

It is the exaltation & the worship of the works of the flesh.
When one claims follow the biblical Messiah/Jesus Christ, it is no longer about you &/or your flesh. A true follower of Christ denies himself to follow Christ, not his/her flesh or the ways of the world.
It's one thing to claim, profess &/or identify as a 'Christian, but it's another thing to know & understand what it really means to be a "Christian" in life & reality.

I don't think it was false. It is poor discipleship. Also, most churches in NA have not done a good job in raising sound believers. We can't seem to differentiate between believers and non-believers. They entertain anything and no sound doctrine.

@@Matthew-cz3gk Everyone’s growth process is different. The issue we have in today’s church is that we have Pastor, ministers that compromise and are not solid with the word of God. Imagine being raised and mentored in church that is comfortable with youths sleeping around before marriage etc. What we need to pray for is for God to raise an army full of the spirit, word, integrity and holiness. Also pray for the weak ones like her, Kanye etc. This happens to all believers. They get really strong and so in love with Jesus at the initial state of giving their lives to Him but gradually lose that love and passion for Jesus. Proper discipleship helps with that.

She may not have a lukewarm preacher/ teacher she has to do the work. The best teaching in the world can be given and you still fail the test. She's referring to herself as a "Christian"" but she's not Born Again, and she's Lukewarm at best. This is not good news... I pray she has a true encounter with The Lord and repents before too long. Only The Holy Spirit of God can change anyone. Also, Matthew 18:6 comes to mind...
If you are a friend of the world you are an enemy of God. The closer you get to God his spirit will burn up anything that doesn’t represent God. Just like the military has a standard of how you dress what more is required when we represent God. What bible does she read? What is the change that she says has taken place when she is doing everything she did before she confess salvation. God is not to be mocked, we are to conduct ourselves according to God’s word.
