Owned one of these for about 2 years now and have probably used it for more than what it was ever designed to cut. Surprisingly powerful and tough considering it cost next to nothing
I bought one, but it makes an ugly noise, something like the bearing was very used. Is it normal? Or maybe it does that at a small rotation speed (now I realize that I did not test it at maximum speed). What do you think?
Can i safely cut wood with this machine and the right disc even if it's not made for it? I realised it's not made for it when i received it and read the instructions.. I thought when i oredered it that it could cut anything as long as the right disc is mounted.
Bought 2 of them in the last 18mths and neither of them work, I don't use them to often I had an accident with one b4 and I'm weary of them, it jumped and cut into my groin just missing my femoral artery by 1/2 inch, I was alone so I cud have been in serious trouble if the artery was severed, but none of them will work and u can understand why I'm not to bothered.
In theory its possible but don't do it, be safe bro, use the tightening tool. 12000 RPM is no joke and cutting discs are known to break and broken fragments can hurt people

Are you sure the ones you saw aren't the 2000 watt ones with 230mm diameter discs? They look similar but are way bigger than the one shown here, which is a normal 125mm one.
I purchased a Parkside angle grinder that screamed and vibrated badly straight out the box then it starting spitting flames from the brush covers and blew up , this was 240v grinder , so scary , I would never buy a Parkside again , Purchased a Makita instead , dynamite grinder , no contact or apologies from Parkside
Makita pre-grinds the carbon brushes, parkside is budget so the carbons are brand new and need to be broken in first - with low load for almost first hour of runtime. Many people do not know this and I already saw 2 new burnt parkside tools, hnere my friends put heavy load on the tool just outside of the box. Luckily parkside has a 3 year warranty.
The plastic part yes, i took that off before i even used the thing. The metal part should be but would require a good bit of disassembly. Ill have a play around with mine one of the days and see what can be done. One thing i will say though is the metal guard is handy to leave on there. Nice that it can be easily moved around without tools

Did you yet have to change the brushes?
@@spennygames nope not yet thankfully
Is there a lockable power switch or do I have to push the power switch manually during the work?
It is lockable. There is another safety feature - it will not run when you plug it in with the switch locked.
@@kiniakinia1000 Thank you. Good to know. Meanwhile the tool is on my shelf... :) I will test it.
Super helpful, more helpful than the manual lol
Is with this grinder can use any other blade for cutting

Just a bearing. Change it and youre good to go
If its under warranty I'd return it as faulty

If you like having hands, dont use angle grinders for wood cutting
