Wow! Excellent job. I bought mine from the middle aisle at Lidl 11 years ago for about £35 to do one job which involved cutting masonry to take down a wall. I figured if it lasted the job, it would owe me nothing. 11 years later and many many jobs by both myself and other family members it finally needs a new set of brushes. I am pleased that I only have to remove the two small black panels to replace them. Thanks for showing me It was one of the first parts of your video and I could have stopped watching there and then but was compelled to keep watching and I am glad that I did. Your expertise and patience is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I don’t know how many hours you put into this but it was obviously a labour of love, as these things are still only about £60 to buy new.
Congratulations on the repair: you even rewound the engine, congratulations! But one thing I have to say: when you crimped the terminals for the brushes, you bent the bare wire back and put the plastic inside the connector .... that's the worst thing you could do. The next time you have connectors that are too large, it is much better that you fill the excess space with more copper wire, either folding the same wire several times or adding from another length that you will then cut away, you will get a secure splice and more lasting
first of all congratulations for your work and your competence. Maybe you could suggest to me the solution to my problem: I have an old sander with a brush motor of 1400w 10.000 rpm. Is there an effective electronic tool to regulate speed? I tried some chinese potentiometers but none solved the problem. Thank you and greetings.
How do you mean didn't solve problem? Did you tried something like this? ua-cam.com/video/E15Qmhsv9cs/v-deo.html . Power loss under lower RPM is inevitable. You can probably make even option dimmer light switch ua-cam.com/video/9QRv9IX6tfY/v-deo.html
I got the Parkside pws 230 c3 that have no power as I checked the power cord that fine, checked the fuse that fine, checked the switch that fine, checked the carbon bushes that fine as well it not stuck in the cartridge, Only thing is I'm guessing is either the soft starter and the 0.22uf capacitor is faulty. Any way fixing these parts to get it working again?
