I would not recommend wasting your time with this; I followed these steps to the letter; took almost 2 and half hours and Universe mode is still glitchy A.F. Rivalry system is jacked up, not ending when it is set to, inflict injury doesn't work at all it seems; tag matches still don't make any sense; auto rivalries are all over the place (and the auto matches often don't match what the rivalries are, such as constantly pairing rivals in tag matches). Typical same type of glitches you see in 2k23; this supposed fix doesn't appear to do anything. Doesn't even fix the issue where your main menu settings don't correctly apply to PPE shows. I played a couple of months (game time) without this 'fix' and now a couple months (game time) with the fix and see absolutely no difference.

Rivalry system isn’t good at all. It should be turned off. surprisingly that simple thing to do, makes universe mode so much better. Just use the rivalry actions when you’re about to start the match.
can safely agree. as well as random title matches being booked on major shows that don't even relate to the rivalry set. ill have Rollins v. Reigns in a rivalry, the 8th match of the night is those two then the main event will be Reigns v. Styles for the world title

I would say 85% of my time playing any Wwe game is Universe mode and it’s very upsetting that it feels like 2k neglects and puts universe mode to the back of priority since it doesn’t make them additional money thru micro transactions
It's like coding lol. I just work it out lol. Do what you have to do to make it work for you. Yea it sucks we have to do something we paid for. But they are still making double versions so actually we have not had a true next gen product lol. They have not been able t o save the tag teams in exhibition to save in universe mode like a regular superstar edit will lol. Maybe that will be patched lol. too early anyways im working on caws Lesnar, Road Warriors, Etc, before I get deep into universe, doing all that showcase crap etc unlocking stuff we have to in it lol.
I haven’t had any issues tbh and I didn’t do this. The issue is, what you suggest takes an incredibly long time. Especially if you’re NOT on an S or X. The changing enemies and all that? Doing 1 character could take between 1-3 minutes alone. You’re looking at probably around… 3.5 hours to finish all these… I’ve not had any issue this year.

This just fuggin ridiculous. They purposely leave this mode fugged up so as to drive you to other modes and it’s pathetic. This mode doesn’t save a thing when you create something and go to use it in universe mode. Characters especially. Overalls, move sets, entrances it saves nothing.
Yes I think a more thorough explanation of what you are fixing is needed. It is a lot of effort to fix something that you are not sure is broken? Or even what it improves?
I just wanna say, i get what you mean about how by taking a little bit of time out of your day to fix universe mode can make it better and more fun for you as a player, but that kinda defeats the purpose of buying the game in a way. No one should have to go behind video game developers and make adjustments to their product (whether through the game itself, or via modding) in order to make it more enjoyable. If anything, it encourages them to keep giving us half baked games and charging for additional content.
actually i never have a issue, i never do this ii add wcw awe an my women special show an it works for me. I don't think people know how too set it up? I never had issues. I just wish tag teams inn exhibition could be ported. Dont like doing double work, so just do tagg teams in universe mode but i will do double work. I have alot of caws to do anyway lol, before I start Universe mode.
Almost deleted 24 last night over this issue with Superstar mode of Universe mode. It kept doing a thing where the show wouldn't end & it would rebook that same show in an infinite loop. Your advice helped in 22 & 23, so I know even if this is a pain in my ass; it'll work. Just wish Visual Arts & 2K would've just built onto 19 instead of fxxkin everything up.😊
I did this for 2k22 & 2k23 so I'm tired lol..Ugh we should all be getting paid by 2k for fixing their messes =P but this year is fun its just sad since Universe Mode (imo) should be their bread n butter I mean come on. Maybe mixing GM mode w/ Uni Mode would help maybe...add in actual Promo scenes, Faction Rivals or attacks/ ambushes..etc. Wrestling matches & Rivals tell a story 2k doesn't really allow that. But the Rival add ons are pretty coo. But props Bruv you are awesome for taking the time to help make this game as fun as possible. !!Mad Respects bruv!
To save time go onto my rosters in the menu and delete of rivalries from the superstars there and every time you star a new universe mode it’ll have them with no rivalries
Yeah I was going to do the same thing, think it makes more sense just to remove them from your game entirely. Especially if you make a mistake with this zero’d out save, that’s a lot of wasted time.

I just spent all evening setting up a universe mode. Still whacked out. Just combine mygm and universe into myWWE with drafts, contract control, and such like myleague in NBA2K
I have a question. How do you get main events to work properly. I always have to adjust the match I want as my main event. It's either a random women's match. And it never puts the major titles as main event. On regular raw or smackdown the major.title holder is never defaulted to main event match.
After you do this and make the rosters, should you rank wrestlers, or do the ranks sort themselves out later on? I'm asking cause I'm getting some odd match up early.

Few questions for you dude; If I'm only using some superstars, I assume I only need to edit their allies and enemies to be deleted? You mentioned we didn't need to do managers but can tag teams be left alone? Also as a newbie to universe mode(more of a GM mode man), are simulated matches done based on overall? If so then that's another huge thing I need to edit 🙄 Once everything is done, can I then manually resetup allies and enemies for some superstars?
edit all allies and enemies to be deleted, even ones you dont use or they will still show up in universe and rumble matches, matches are done a coin flip and and stats not just overall, and Once everything is done yes you can set it up, hope that helps
Do you need to set champions for this to work? For the Minor shows do they need to be after Raw and Smackdown for example? Can they be on Tuesday & Thursday (Before SD)
Its not completely unusable. I have tried community creations and it has worked for me. I know 100 people at least from my discord that said they do not have any problem with community creations at all.
Early access started only a few hours ago earlier today. I'm curious... how do you already know at this early stage that Universe is broken? Have you already played through several years in Universe mode? And how can you know for certain that patches won't break this? Forgive me, but I'm sceptical.
@@albertofava865 Yes, but that was last year and we knew from using it for a while that it had problems. It's barely just come out in early access and apparently Beach knows it's bad. I'm not saying Breach is wrong, but how can you know after only a couple of hours of playing? A lot of those things take a while to pin down in Universe mode.
I have never had an issue with Universe mode except bugs. I don't think people understand how to set it up lol. I always run the basic raw, smack, nxt, with wcw awe an a special woman main show all my custom shows are major. I just go an add their pay per views of course. I also change the match default with my custom matches. I never touch universe until a Little bit however i will go an start one but will not play because im still editing roster in exhibition. An when ii edit in exhibition it the superstar will be changed in universe. Mode an i wont have to do double work. Like adding the current move to a superstar etc. One edit for all modes so when i start universe mode all my edits will be there. Lol i can make a tutorial so you dont have to do all his steps? Never been broken for me lol?? Tried to explain this best i could? I think people need a basic set up tutorial. I been doing this for years so. I just want them to let us carry over saved tag teams saves like roster edits? Is that feature in it. Next gen needs to be next gen??

I jope i didnt miss a step but, the rivalies dont end after at ple i have to sim them still (like i had to in 23), i simed 2 matches at the ple and then let the ai play out my last one and its still happening

Does thsi fix the stats for womens secondary championships? For example I can assign womens world, IC & tag championship but i voew superstar stats it will only give stats for world and tag team championships..
it will give stats in title history, but only those will show up, as those are the only belts allowed for women in this game, its hard coded that way for whatever reason, its dumb
I'm not sure if I've missed it. I've been waiting for the video that explains how to properly set up your alliances. I did follow the process and delete all of my alliances and enemies from every Superstar and set up my universe exactly the way you said. But in order to make sure judgment Day comes out correctly and things like that, what are your tips on how to properly implement them as an alliance?
my custom map matches are all they can handle, especially for PLE -PPV, even if I remove the normal matches from the map, there are still plenty of them, and the percentage chance system to get the match you want is terrible, the universe rarely obeys me. Not to mention that sometimes there are PLEs, with only one match in all, for the title... What advice do you have for such cases?
am i the only one experiencing constant bug issues with tag entrance/managers? also sometimes when i skip to the next show it crashes & the next show just disappears
If we spend 4+ hours doing this what all will it fix. Will we stop fighting the same people who every week and stop getting random tag team parents that’s not your partner or In your faction?
@BeachBytes is there a fix for the PS4 version? My universe mode (unless using Monday Nitro arena) will not allow me to choose a player until im in the match and have to assign the controller. Therefore, not earning star reviews or in game money for purchaseables. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Your channel rocks!

It's because for some stupid ass reason there's a random title match at least twice a month. Its annoying af. Have to go through every show week by week and make sure there isn't a title match happening
dude im having a major issue with UM. i play through on superstar mode but when it comes to ppvs im made to have between 2-5 matches in the same event against different opponents. normally its match 1 is my rivalry finish and then a few more random matches on the same spot on the card. i cant progress the calendar until those matches are complete. any advice?

Exactly and I messed with the match card all night I changed everything percentages I changed if it would be a Mina even for a belt with one percent chance and it still has every belt taught for ever night the table system has been broken since it was I tntroduced
When I follow this it fixes everything however one issue I keep having is that every single week on RAW and SMACKDOWN there is a title match for the main event
For PC could you not upload a blank universe save file after you have done all of this for us to import so we dont have to spend a million years doing all of this?
Would having PLEs on the first and second sundays as well still mess stuff up if I have more than just three shows? Like, if i have six, would it still mess up?
@@BeachBytes i dont think it matters atm 2k just completely broke the release on Steam. the Deluxe and nightmare packs were completely removed from the store resulting in game breaking bug the deletes all saves lol

So how does having factions work? Do we just have to go in and make everyone Allie’s or is there a selection for that? I haven’t started my Universe yet.
One thing I noticed regarding managers is they still get a title earned it a championship’s history if a someone wins a title with a manager set, hopefully that makes sense. So you either have to delete managers or make sure in title matches there aren’t any managers set
My question is why is that after what 9yrs or something like tbat WWE 2k games are pretty still bare bones, is like they want to commit to the game but not commit is like thei scared of investing money into the game
So this broke my Rivalry system and now I have a MITB cash in every single Raw and Smackdown, despite no MITB winner. No rivalries keep once I set them and every Raw and Smackdown I get a random MITB cash in. Wtf Automatic rivalries don’t work either. Off or on, no rivlaries hold. I have new Rival Actions every single week. I did everything EXACTLY as the video said. I went to the start screen when it said, I deleted things in the right order, etc. I went step by step with the video and it broke it worse.
With the last thing you said about the calendar, when I do this set up if I do Raw on Monday, minor show on Tuesday,Smackdown on Wednesday and minor show on Friday I need to fast forward three days or something? How many superstars should I have for the minor shows? Can you have superstars on multiple shows?
I could answer ur first and last question. First it automatically fast forwards because u deleted all the shows after making the wednesday show. So wednesday is the only show there. Then we u delete wednesday u start from ur next show after that day. For ur last question i believe yes because when you go to assign show u can click multiple options

I've done everything exactly as you said, but I'm a little confused. When adding raw NXT Smackdown you said to attach a minor show to the major show. How do you do that? Or do you mean add level up, main event etc

@@CHRISARIES I get that. To me. Part of the fun is realism. For example. If Tozawa hits Gunter with a finisher. Gunter is kicking out. If Gunther hits Tozawa it's over. I find after a finisher, superstars just walk around like they bumped their head. Don't get me wrong. 2K did set the sliders pretty well. It just needs tweaking. As for divisions/rankings. To avoid the same stars in every match every week. That is necessary. I just don't know how to properly do it.
While yeah, we really shouldn’t have to do this to have a great running Universe but a small sacrifice of time to have than all the hours put in and not being totally satisfied makes it worth it to me.

It has needed an update for many years now, it's sad that the mode with the longer legs gets the shaft literally every year.

Make a minor show and then whatever your major show is a sign just one major show to that minor show not more than one

you can speed it up by changing up you ranking to start, but it changes as you play

I asked this same question. What does ‘attach a minor show to a major show’ mean?
Create a minor show and there is an option to select which major show can compete on the minor show.

edit all allies and enemies to be deleted, even ones you dont use or they will still show up in universe and rumble matches, matches are done a coin flip and and stats not just overall, and Once everything is done yes you can set it up, hope that helps
Do you need to set champions for this to work? For the Minor shows do they need to be after Raw and Smackdown for example? Can they be on Tuesday & Thursday (Before SD)
How do I fix it to make titles at ppv. I have already selected it on match table at ppv and taken it off on show but it still comes up on my shows

Its not completely unusable. I have tried community creations and it has worked for me. I know 100 people at least from my discord that said they do not have any problem with community creations at all.

@@albertofava865 Yes, but that was last year and we knew from using it for a while that it had problems. It's barely just come out in early access and apparently Beach knows it's bad. I'm not saying Breach is wrong, but how can you know after only a couple of hours of playing? A lot of those things take a while to pin down in Universe mode.

I have never had an issue with Universe mode except bugs. I don't think people understand how to set it up lol. I always run the basic raw, smack, nxt, with wcw awe an a special woman main show all my custom shows are major. I just go an add their pay per views of course. I also change the match default with my custom matches. I never touch universe until a Little bit however i will go an start one but will not play because im still editing roster in exhibition. An when ii edit in exhibition it the superstar will be changed in universe. Mode an i wont have to do double work. Like adding the current move to a superstar etc. One edit for all modes so when i start universe mode all my edits will be there. Lol i can make a tutorial so you dont have to do all his steps? Never been broken for me lol?? Tried to explain this best i could? I think people need a basic set up tutorial. I been doing this for years so. I just want them to let us carry over saved tag teams saves like roster edits? Is that feature in it. Next gen needs to be next gen??

To be honest, all I do is create a separate show and full control that one and simulate the other shows and focus on my custom show only.
I jope i didnt miss a step but, the rivalies dont end after at ple i have to sim them still (like i had to in 23), i simed 2 matches at the ple and then let the ai play out my last one and its still happening

Does thsi fix the stats for womens secondary championships? For example I can assign womens world, IC & tag championship but i voew superstar stats it will only give stats for world and tag team championships..
it will give stats in title history, but only those will show up, as those are the only belts allowed for women in this game, its hard coded that way for whatever reason, its dumb

I'm not sure if I've missed it. I've been waiting for the video that explains how to properly set up your alliances. I did follow the process and delete all of my alliances and enemies from every Superstar and set up my universe exactly the way you said. But in order to make sure judgment Day comes out correctly and things like that, what are your tips on how to properly implement them as an alliance?

my custom map matches are all they can handle, especially for PLE -PPV, even if I remove the normal matches from the map, there are still plenty of them, and the percentage chance system to get the match you want is terrible, the universe rarely obeys me.
Not to mention that sometimes there are PLEs, with only one match in all, for the title...
What advice do you have for such cases?
Dont understand the thing about attach minor shows to major etc. Not what that even means, or how to do it.

@BeachBytes is there a fix for the PS4 version? My universe mode (unless using Monday Nitro arena) will not allow me to choose a player until im in the match and have to assign the controller. Therefore, not earning star reviews or in game money for purchaseables. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Your channel rocks!

It's because for some stupid ass reason there's a random title match at least twice a month. Its annoying af. Have to go through every show week by week and make sure there isn't a title match happening

dude im having a major issue with UM. i play through on superstar mode but when it comes to ppvs im made to have between 2-5 matches in the same event against different opponents. normally its match 1 is my rivalry finish and then a few more random matches on the same spot on the card. i cant progress the calendar until those matches are complete. any advice?

When I follow this it fixes everything however one issue I keep having is that every single week on RAW and SMACKDOWN there is a title match for the main event

you can delete managers and start fresh and set up the tag teams you want in the mode after you have cleared allies
@@BeachBytes i dont think it matters atm 2k just completely broke the release on Steam. the Deluxe and nightmare packs were completely removed from the store resulting in game breaking bug the deletes all saves lol

One thing I noticed regarding managers is they still get a title earned it a championship’s history if a someone wins a title with a manager set, hopefully that makes sense. So you either have to delete managers or make sure in title matches there aren’t any managers set
My question is why is that after what 9yrs or something like tbat WWE 2k games are pretty still bare bones, is like they want to commit to the game but not commit is like thei scared of investing money into the game

So this broke my Rivalry system and now I have a MITB cash in every single Raw and Smackdown, despite no MITB winner. No rivalries keep once I set them and every Raw and Smackdown I get a random MITB cash in. Wtf
Automatic rivalries don’t work either. Off or on, no rivlaries hold. I have new Rival Actions every single week.
I did everything EXACTLY as the video said. I went to the start screen when it said, I deleted things in the right order, etc. I went step by step with the video and it broke it worse.
This definitely worked my universe was good all year
I also didn’t use custom wrestlers. I see custom wrestlers were really glitchy unfortunately

Sorry, but why do you need a minor show for a roster larger than 40?
With the last thing you said about the calendar, when I do this set up if I do Raw on Monday, minor show on Tuesday,Smackdown on Wednesday and minor show on Friday I need to fast forward three days or something? How many superstars should I have for the minor shows? Can you have superstars on multiple shows?
I could answer ur first and last question. First it automatically fast forwards because u deleted all the shows after making the wednesday show. So wednesday is the only show there. Then we u delete wednesday u start from ur next show after that day. For ur last question i believe yes because when you go to assign show u can click multiple options

I've done everything exactly as you said, but I'm a little confused. When adding raw NXT Smackdown you said to attach a minor show to the major show. How do you do that? Or do you mean add level up, main event etc

@@CHRISARIES I get that. To me. Part of the fun is realism. For example. If Tozawa hits Gunter with a finisher. Gunter is kicking out. If Gunther hits Tozawa it's over. I find after a finisher, superstars just walk around like they bumped their head. Don't get me wrong. 2K did set the sliders pretty well. It just needs tweaking. As for divisions/rankings. To avoid the same stars in every match every week. That is necessary. I just don't know how to properly do it.
