As someone who is not living in London, my first reaction was respect for their vote, and I was thinking that Mr. Khan should be a competent individual, seeing that person turning his back (who by the way had less than 2% of vote), I'm pretty sure he is also of high integrity; congrats to him and London people to choose hope over fear. London seems to be a great city and it gives hope to others too.

Since we evolved from other mammals, the human race has constantly migrated across this planet. People migrate naturally for various reasons - it is something we as humans have in our instinct. We have always done it and will always continue to do so. In ancient times, the Asians and Romans came Westwards and migrated throughout Europe. Our ancestry here in the UK goes back to very early Romans who migrated here and evolved into the race which we, the British, are today. In recent times from the 1700s onwards, the British and Irish emigrated towards the USA and Australia and made those countries what they are today. In 2016, we see Muslims, lovely salt of the Earth people, fleeing Syria to migrate to Europe, much like the Romans did hundreds of years ago. The racists and xenophobic people here do not know what they're talking about and have not been educated well at all to understand that what we are experiencing is completely natural and we should welcome the Muslims because the vast majority of them are lovely and should be accepted. Islam is nothing like people state it is, and these so called "Christians" should know that Christianity condemns your actions.
Let nature take its course with relation to migration. If you don't like Muslims here, why don't you all migrate elsewhere and speed the process up? :)

If I was mayor of London I would ban private cars.Traffic jams would ease and businessmen would serve more customers and make more deliveries.Economy would boost and prices could fall.I would train more building engineers to build more flats.I would scrap also freedom passes.Why should pensioners travel for free (to visit town?)?Whereas people spend so much money commuting to work especially those who feed families and work part time.The jobless and homeless must also travel looking for a job.I would let the homeless to sleep in public buildings.
