  • Just because you haven't heard of ‪@wildfirelifts‬ doesn't mean we haven't existed! We've been building high quality 4 post lifts for nearly a decade.

The sleeve over post design looks exactly like the Advantage lift design. Same factory where built? Better then the open post structure with internal vertical slides.

@dougpeirce726 While the designs look similar form 20 feet away “Exactly” would be a very inaccurate way of describing the two lifts and would be doing a serious disservice to Wildfire Lifts - to clarify while Wildfire Lifts and Advantage lifts look similar from a far we have zero connection to one another. Here is an analogy that we will back up with details below: We are both C8 Corvettes and everyone would love either but Advantage is a base Stingray while Wildfire Lifts is the Z06 (upgrade build quality, powertrain, supports, etc)! We at Wildfire Lifts have an exclusive with our factory which means we only build our lifts for ourselves and no one else and no one else builds our lifts. We at Wildfire Lifts have also been with the same factory we started with over a decade ago, this has allowed us to build out our production to being nearly fully automated including robotic bending, laser cutting and robotic welding in many of our main components. From our understanding Advantage Lifts is quite aways down the road on factories that they’ve switched to for many reasons (many people have discussed these issues on forums, etc) - it would be work asking for an honest answer from them as to what number factory they are on at this point. With the previous said, both the Wildfire and Advantage Lifts are some of, if not, the highest quality 4 post lifts in the market. In fact, before Advantage was bought out a few years ago we were very similar in build quality. However, after Advantage was purchased, to our understanding in part by a Private Investment group, their prices jumped up but their quality of build/parts did not follow suit. Here are some key differences: Wildfire Lifts use up to 20% thicker upright posts, Wildfire Lifts fully boxes the runways on every lift we produce from the very front to the back (on our XLT this is ~64 feet of boxed runways) while Advantage boxes a portion of one side of each runway - this dramatically increase the rigidity of the Wildfire’s Runways (keep in mind Advantage states “boxed runways” as a way to advertise/confuse but one is not like the other), Wildfire Lifts use fully sealed ball bearings while Advantage Lifts uses brass bushings (sometimes these bushings are referred to as “oilless bearing” which is a way to trying to speak to the quality of a bearing while in reality using a bushing, a bit of double speak), Wildfire Lifts uses an ETL certified 3hp output motor vs Advantage Lifts 1.5 hp motor, Wildfire Lifts uses pre-stretched cables to avoid stretching over time (a common issue with 4 post lifts who chose to save money by not prestretching) Advantage Lifts now advertises a “larger” cable after they were bought but they no longer pre-stretch (it appears they’re hoping bigger sounds better so the average consumer doesn’t realize that a pre stretched cable has more value than shear size). These are a few BIG differences. Advantage builds a very nice lift, nicer than the majority of the market in fact, BUT Wildfire Lifts builds an even better lift on nearly all (if not all) components, while offering a superior customer service experience with a superior company that is still 100% owned by the same family that started it! With all of that said, of course, please do your own due diligence - our team is available to jump on a call and discuss! Thanks for the great question!

Are your steel structures being sourced in the US or outside the country?

@@dougpeirce726 consistent with the 4 post lift industry as a near whole (Advantage, Atlas, Bendpak, Direct and nearly every other brand you've seen) our lifts are produced over seas . Please review this link to find another brand you mentioned who "allegedly" mislead consumers regaring the country of origin - www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/2023-12-07-advantage-lifts-closing-letter.pdf

Seen a few bearing failing videos on UA-cam. Has this been corrected? Thanks

Hi @chrisd5383 great question. Sort answer, Yes corrected and improved! Long answer to follow --> This issue occured with lifts produced in April and May of 2020 (Covid times when the world was shut down). Our OEM bearing supplier was completely closed (I'm sure you remember those times) but our sales skyrocketed with many car guys sent to work from home, maybe you included?! We had to change over to a third party supplier who claimed to have the same spec but we couldn't verify (clearly they didn't and only wanted revenue coming in to keep their doors open). This issue affected roughly 150 lifts, once we realized, we built and sent out service bulletins to all of these affected customers, 99.9% of them were happy and impressed that we took initiative ahead of time before they had issues. Of the two videos you likely saw, (understand that we sell thousands of lifts a year), the customer put out a second video about how happy he was with us taking care of him (he actually called us to ask if him put videos up was ok, we were fully ok with that as we stand behind our products). The other gentleman, lets just say there is a whole story behind that which we do not need to get into here (he would be part of the 0.1%, very unethical individual). Since that time we have gone ahead and improved the set up to include single pieces of milled stock vs two seperate stock pulleys and increased the size and load bearing of our bearings. We have sold thousands of lifts before and thousands of lifts after without issue aside from those lifts that were in those production series. We build very high end lifts with very high end components and while I understand you've come across the one singular "bearing issue" which occurred, and we admit to and resolved as explained above, you won't find post after post of issues present on our lifts which you will find with most of the other major lift "brands" on the market. Hopefully that helps clarify the scenario!
