David Hasslhoff's acting is underrated. He did a very good job of making the characters of Michael and Garthe feel like truly distinct individuals.

David Hasselhoff made a wonderful job to play both Michael and Garthe.

@@lydellflood8818 , when both are together in that side view..my guess it's a split screen David Hasselhoff as Michael then again as Garth.......... the Garth Character was great but Hasselhoof has mentioned it was a lot of work to play both characters so he asked the Garth character to be killed when he returned later in the season in the episode "Goliath Returns".
I never know if we must write Garth with or without E.

Possibly the best episode in the series
Season two had a darker feel to it, which is why many fans feel it was the best season of the series

Tabloids even back then found the right cash strapped people willing to break studio rules of not taking pictures, and by the photos up, it's one of the reasons why Dallas shot so many fakes when they did the J.R. being shot storyline, and later the fake shampoo commercial with Patrick Duffy to hide the fact he came back.

This is him. He played the part in pilot episode of the season one as Michael Arthur Long, who was shot in face and lead role as Michael Knight. He played Garthe to. David Hasselhoff played 3 roles.

@@morganrussman it was very difficult in those days to have one actor as two characters in the same place. Now,you can do that scene where there is a body double as tall as the actor with all kinds of applications on his face standing next to him in a room covered in green or blue along with the double covered from head to toe instead of split screen shots and then they digitally put an image of the actor over the body double to where you see two of them,they didn't have the technology back then like they do today,Back to the future 2 and 3 were the first experiments for that technology.

Love how they used body doubles for some shots of Michael and Garthe seen together and split screen for others.
That was the only way to do it back then,.....in some cases, there are actors in Hollywood who have twin siblings. Actress Linda Hamilton, for example, has a twin sister named Leslie. They used Leslie in some of the Terminator films such 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day' in scenes that needed two 'Sarah Connors' in the same scene.

@@MarkNorville Those few short scenes of rendered chrome took a 386dx the better part of 2 years to make. No way could they have just "cgi'd in" duplicate actors back then, they were still cutting film by hand back then to do chroma mattes.

H O W ? ! Look . . it's a TV show and I get it. KITT can do some pretty amazing things but, at the very least, they all have some kind of semi-plausible explanation. Booster rockets exist, microwave emitters exist, AI exists. Most of KITT's functions are basically extreme advances of plausible technology so I can suspend my disbelief. But being able to manipulate a dice roll or unlock handcuffs is just magic. It's too far . . . even for this show. Notice they never even bothered trying to explain how KITT could do it.

Well... Chow-Yun Fat is mostly known here in the West for his John Woo movies and the ones he did in English. He starred in a series called God of Gamblers, which at first have begun as pretty serious. Then came the "super secret contact lenses with super secret decks made abroad", the ridiculous amount of bets, no matter if you count them in Hong Kong or US dollars, the changing of directors, Chow's change from the original character to a lookalike first...
... and then came From Vegas to Macau, a very, very self-aware parody of the God of Gamblers franchise. Kind of like if Saints Row would be made into live-action from its original intent to copy GTA to parodying everything, even themselves.

For instances like at 2:50, I didn't initially understand how they pulled this off, but these days, I have an idea of how they did. For the curious, even back then, it wasn't hugely difficult. A few options they have/had is Just have the actor stand on one side of the camera while they film, and then use another negative to film the actor in a different perspective and then splice them together in post production. Or, maybe use the same negative and film the actor in 2 different sports with the same film. Today with software editors, it isn't terribly different with the one I mentioned before.
I swear even as a kid I thought who tf is Garth to say that? It was never implied he or Elizabeth own a casino.
Edit: I meant Garthe okaying Michael Knight exceeding the bet maximum.

If I recall correctly they tried once but it didn't go very far. The original was a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, and the second KITT as a 2008-2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR.
A new kind of Trans am would do nicely

In the pilot episode, It was Implied by Devon to Wilton that there was a uncanny resemblance of Michael's new face & Wilton as a young man.
FYI this is the same casino from the pilot.
The pilot didn't actually film any scenes in Las Vegas. Lot of that was stock footage. The shots in the pilot with the actors in a casino was actually filmed at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles. Which also appeared in other episodes "The Topaz Connection" and "Goliath Returns".

It's difficult to answer your question. Either this was filmed at the real Caesar's Palace, or a place was built to look like Caesar's Palace in order to make this episode.

riding in the Knight Transport hauler.
If it had been a Soviet TV show, that trailer would have a continuous track to not register the many, many faults on the road.
It's because in real life, the inside of the trailer was actually on a sound stage inside Universal Studio's. That, and this mostly tool place down in California, where potholes ideally wouldn't be as much of a problem.

If you're disciplined and know your game, you can always walk out a winner on a winnable game. Then again most games in a casino are at best 50/50 chances of win or loss. The games with better odds 1. Blackjack 2. Roulette 3. Craps
Because of probability, there is no guarantee to "always walk out a winner" on any casino game. Only Blackjack can have a player advantage with card counting and adjusting your bets. However, casinos will stop you from playing if they notice you are adjusting your bets based on card counting. I hope you haven't fallen for the myth that Roulette and Craps can be beaten.
