Yes bro.. yes I’m deed an miss these days an they don’t make shows or even openings like they use to.. kids from the late 80s an early 90 an even mid to late 90s were all lucky to have this show on the weekends late night.. man idk why but I always found myself watching this an the movies were always cheesy an/or sleazy
@@DrRawBalls_TheDummy Yes sir!! Those movies, especially the second movie was horrible but we all stayed up and watched it back then lol. I miss it very much
I wish tv was still like this. I'm a very big fan of late night movie watching. Junk food and staying up late on the weekend is one of my all time favorite things to do. I love old school stuff.
I agree here, back then there were some great times plus great entertainment. Not only do I miss it all here, I wish I could relive it all over again. Better times back then, then today is that's for sure
@@shawnrose1211 I agree here, I think that USA Network needs to go back to the way they use to be plus bring back their other shows that they use to show on their Network too. Also play the reruns of usa up all night.
I doubt the concept would work now, USA Up All Night was really a product of it's time. Came out in likely the only time it could have. But man am I glad it did.
Usa up all night with rhonda shear and gilbert gottfried, was the stuff to watch on friday and saturday nights. Back then in the 90's on the weekends, now for get it. Please bring back these two and usa up all night
how may people remembers this, watching usa up all night with Rhonda shear and Gilbert Gottfried on Friday & Saturday nights. o my goodness---i loved + enjoyed watching this on the usa network, how could you not. these two were amazing at doing this. i miss these two & watching usa up all night. i so love to see usa bring it back again along with Rhonda & Gilbert.
0:30 A quick shot of the band 'Betty'. They sang the theme song to HBO's Encyclopedia television show back in the '80s. Just a little fun fact that no one would care about. lol
Sad news here. As of April 12th of 2022 Gilbert Gottfried had passed away, like I'm being for real here. Gilbert died of myotonic dystrophy type two. Rest in peace and I want to say thank you for giving us all the greatest entertainment that you did over the years. Gilbert Gottfried, you had given us some great memories and great times. I enjoyed every bit of USA up all night back in the day. Such truly a shame that this had happened
If it wasn' for USA up all night I would know have the B-Movies I do... As a kid you couldn't rent them or watch them on premium cable because they were R-Rated. But first time I watched Toxix Avenger, The Warriors, Killer Klowns was because of this show
One time -- he actually played a REAL movie. I don't remember what - but it was a REAL movie, no hot chicks etc. So he announced the title and as usual gave a description of the plot. Then he says...... "I can hear the sound of zippers being closed up all over the country"....and by golly - I know one case where he was right!!!
: } when all my friends and family were out to the clubs and bars on firday and staurday nights back then, i stayed home watching usa up all night with rhonda shear and gilbert gottfriend. back in the 1990's usa was great and not like now.
This was so good back then, now usa network sucks now. Back then it got everything, sometimes i miss the 90s, i was a baby in the 80s, was 3 when this out.
Is it true that the theme music for the Friday night edition in Los Angeles (1989-1995) was a re-arrangement of this theme music? They both have the same melody, just different arrangements that's all. The Friday night theme had an L.A. Rock 'n Roll feel, while this one has an N.Y. Jazz feel.
Memories, memories! I had the best childhood!
prospectboy omg yes!!!
I want to go back
Same I was born in 1979

This was one of my favorite things to watch back then!!!! Those crazy movies!!!!
Reminds me of the SNL intro . I use to watch this every Sat night from 11pm-7 the following morning during the summer of 89.
When I tell you that this was my teenage life!! Friday and Saturday night from start to finish. Haven't watched the USA network since
So many shows in the 90s had this snl style opening. I wish USA would bring up all night back
pizza
I dont know why they ever got rid of it. Well actually i do know, they wanted to be "classier" let Bravo be classy, dont fix what aint broke.

@@dantheman8103 you're not wrong but people watch svengoolie, the last drive in and creature features so it could work in an updated format
UA-cam...the closest thing we have to a time machine
Oh the 90's 😥
Gotta love that wannabe Saturday Night Live opening!
I used to look forward watching this on Saturday nights for Gilbert Gottfried alone. I like the intro better than the Friday night version.
I remember staying Up All Night with Gilbert and Rhonda eating pizza rolls, and other junk food watching the Friday the 13th movie marathons…The best
80 's 90 's we miss you .. Thanks for the upload.. XD

Could be. I'm not sure.
It sure was. Joey was a New York landmark, that's for sure.

It's like a knockoff of the SNL opening creds, sorta.
