Very interesting song as it displayed 7 different personalities and different ways of expressing/singing. He’s indeed dramatic. He’s debuted since 2013 and he’s one of the most chill person on stage you’ll ever see, he never seems nervous actually. I dont think Hua Chenyu is exactly on ur channel style, but he has a lot rock songs as a lot of others styles, but not exactly metal, i guess u will like 'Bullfighting', u will get a good notion of him like artist, but u can also check 'New World - Shout' for example, 'Wayfarer', 'God Tree' for good rock, and if u really want to check a mix of styles that he uses a lot, you can check 'Nunchucks'.

And being nervous on stage is the last thing hua ever will be. You will come to realize that he literally a stage beast. His last year's album is the seventh most sold in the world, but our western top charts seem to be oblivious to the rest of the world for some reason. I only discovered him three or four years ago when I started learning Chinese. His songs and the way he performs are really quite impressive. So many styles you say, the title should have been a clue. Seven Personalities. Not for the faint of heart. For sure you do not listen to Hua Chenyu to get bored. By the way he is noted for his dramatic stage presence among other things. Try Aliens, you might find that easier to relate to. Little more straighforward in format, but still classic Hua Chenyu, if there is such a thing. He is always himself.
As someone who loves rock I must say I love Hua Hua’s rock voice the most as he usually puts rock elements into a song which mixes different styles. So I really like that (like Queen, which is my fav band). I love this song, but from what I’ve seen I don’t think half of his performances will be to your liking as it is really unique or mellow etc but the other half of his performances will be explosive or heavy rock influenced. So he might not be the right person for you, not sure. You should decide that for yourself.

The lyrics of this song have a lot of connotations. You need to understand the essence of Chinese culture in order to understand the Chinese lyrics. There are also some very implicit and obscure parts in the lyrics, which need thinking to understand. Although he talks about his own seven fold personality, it actually contains a lot of life philosophy.
