Have you considered using that file to sharpen the "cutting" edge of your picker?
Seems like that might make it easier to cut the fruit from the tree.
I like the idea though, thinking about making one myself.

You can add sharp blade on cutting edge. I have made 100 fruit pickers. Some of them with sharp cutter. Sharp cutter tools are so easy for picking.

@Fulvia A Burke. You need to rotate picker after catching fruit. Or. Check my other fruits picker videos. There are 100 types of fruits pickers.
