Can this be used for the side of the sole that goes around the shoes, instead of the bottom main sole? I’m just asking is because the side is mostly foam.
I know a sneakers shop owner who scuffs when I asked about shoe protectors. He said "Its really profitable, I can tell you that, we wont deny you, instead, we'll encourage you to have us put it on. But for me, its what poor people buy to protect "expensive" things they buy. A sneaker head like me would appreciate the performance and the grip these shoes are designed to give."
Can you use a hair dryer and you need the heat gun and also what do you recommend for suede protection what spray would you use? Thanks 🙏 for your videos a lot of help
Crazy shit I bought a sheet of this thinkin it was gripped and when I got it figured it wouldn’t work, and bruh got a whole video using this stuff…after I done put the actual gripped rolls on every one of my icy shoes…might try this on one of the few pairs I have left uncovered
Just bought a pair of Louis Vuitton Arizona moccasins. The sole is a bunch of square rubber knobs that protrude out of the zzlv monogram leather. I think I'm just going to cut a solid piece and that should keep both the leather and the rubber knobs protected. If you get a chance Google that particular shoe and give me a suggestion on how you would approach doing this to this sole. Do that and I'll subscribe right now. Thanks big homie. Good lookin out.
I'd honestly use clear skateboard grip tape if it's a complicated sole. If not the clear 3m vinyl wrap might work if you leave yourself a ½inch extra around the perimeter of the traced outline. That way you can work the heated 3m a section in to all the peaks and valleys with something like a debit card or a smooth plastic pry tool. I'd start at the heal and slowly work my way up the shoe. Heating and molding smallers sections at a time.
I really appreciate your video. Thank you for taking you time to help people like me.
Clear Skateboard Grip Tape is what they use for grip.
Sounds like that would do some damage to a nice floor
@@lo7892 tf u doing dragging your feet through the floor 😂
We really need to see you peeling this off!
I know my son would love this video.

This one is different or cause the other ones have sticky side and this one your heating to be in place ?

Yeah but how long does it last? Do you slip when it’s wet outside etc.
Use clear skateboard grip tape for tread and use the heat gun/ hair dryer to get them off afterwards
HOW IS THE GRIP? IS IT SLIPPERY?
Do they leave sticky resado on the bottom when u peel them off?
