As an elementary student in countryside of Japan, I walked for like 40minutes to school everyday. Many elderly people who lives around the school area watched over us walking right way every morning and evening, so if there are something strange, they could help us. That’s why most of all parents see their children off in peace every morning. Finally I feel so lucky born and raised in this country for sure.

I’ve been to that mochi shop before. The shop is called Nakatanidou and it’s in the city of Nara. So many people were watching them beat the mochi. I tried the mochi from that shop and it’s the best mochi I ever had.

No eating while walking, no cars in certain places, no littering, and no chewing gum in public. Thats how it keeps japan so safe! Also not all cafes are like that so don’t worry. ❤
