    Thank you for the content, although this video may not help me physically, but it was very informative.
    I’m finishing up my undergraduate in 1 more semester, and there’s a lot of anxiety going on. I’m an international student in the US, and it’s been hard for me to find a job here since a lot of ME in my area desired to work with government and that requires citizenship. So I have no job lined up with soon to be graduates.
    For some reason, your content just calms me down that everything will be okay, and I don’t even know where that come from lol

    Hi Anna
    I would like to thank you for the videos you make cause i am a mechanical engineer from colombia, i started watching your videos these year, with the books you recommended ( i am a scammer btw). I had the chance to do my last year of Bachelor in Germany, i studied in a fachhochschule in Niedersachsen and did my internship in Bayern. I have been watching your “December series” and i have felt really identified with your reflexions and comments. Thank you for your sharing your experiences in such an spontaneous way, i have really enjoyed finding your channel.

    Hi, thanks for sharing your experience!
    Plese tell me, is it easy to faill classes and having to expend more time studying than you had thought you would? A guy who went to college in germany said his course was suposed to last 3 years, he ended up doing 6, suposing you are a dedicated person on studies, is this easy to happen?

    In the US student just dropped classes they're not doing well in and retake them (instead of finishing the course with a bad grade, especially those who prioritize getting higher gpa). You can also fail and retake classes as often as you can, but they do put you on probation if your gpa is below 2.0 (which is a c average overall in all classes, and if you on probation and still not doing well the following semester they will kick you out of school - but you can still go to another school). I just noticed students just dropped classes half way through the semester or prior to deadlines for dropping classes once they're not doing well and retake the classes.

      Can foreigner study in Germany? Are college free? Thanks

    • @theannareich
      @theannareich  5 місяців тому +2

      Interesting! That's quite different than in Germany.
      Yes, foreigners can study in Germany and it's free (apart from a fee from about $300 per semester for public transport and service costs) but most degrees are only available in German, so you probably need to learn the language. They offer language schools specifically for foreigners wanting to study in Germany though where you first study German and then you switch to university to study your degree. Hope this helps :)

      @@manishjangra1711 if you have completed your bachelor's in India you might go ahead and apply for jobs in Germany if you are enough for the role they will hire you , or else I'd recommend getting your master's done in Germany and then apply for the job in the extended year, and yes you can apply for mechanical engineering in Germany it's a highly prominent and required profession in the German job market
