Let me put it this way: I never chose the drums. If anything, the drums chose me. A long time ago, to be exact, when I was 3. Soon, my curiosity grew when I saw other percussion instruments, the largest family of instruments through and through. Congas, djembe, bongos, cajon, and timbales, from all around the world, they came. No instrument is quite the same. But there are still others to learn about, my friend, and to them there is absolutely no end. Btw, I’m not a poet.
Hello Ms. Bunny (and Brock). Thank you for sharing such a wonderful video. I loved everything about it and the way that you presented everything. Music just reaches into the soul and can change the way you feel. I love the sound of many different instruments and especially the harp, cello and singing bowls. You are the best beautiful lady. Thank you again! Safe and happy travels.
The drum section would be my favorite in the museum.. i have a variety of native hoop drums as well as several djembe drums which I play.. the drumbeat resonates with the human heartbeat which I think is pretty sacred. I think music connects with the soul of every human no matter the culture. That’s a very cool museum. I’d probably spends hours there. 😁
Thank you so much! My goal is always to show unique places, but this would really talk to the cake because it’s the most complete collection I have seen of this kind
WOW! Bunny! You just gave a global class on music and instruments! I don't know how you did this phenomenal job! But, WOW! I ENJOYED THIS IMMENSELY! Thank You for all of the beautiful work!
I do try to respect others whenever I go in a public places. I’m typically very vivacious and bubbly. However, I tone it down, so I don’t interrupt other peoples experiences.
Thanks for sharing info about this marvelous Museum. I love the harmonica. I bought one at 18 when I left home. I learned to play while walking, keeping time with my cadence. I still play. I also worked at MIM about 35 years ago.
Thank you so much! I always try to keep it interesting by sharing a variety of different kinds of things, and I hope that it inspires people to get out there and see the world around them a little bit more
Just got a, "brain wrinkles" thought. Wonder how a guitar battle between the late Jimi Hendrix and Sister Rosetta Tharpe would play out 🤔🎸🎼🎶 Another must-see attraction when we hit the road.
I personally would love to see someone who is a trailblazer like Jimi Hendrix, who is able to change the way we see music once again. There’s a lot of great guitarist out there however, whenever you hear one of his songs, you definitely know it is him.
Google Sister Rosetta Tharpe. She's considered the God Mother of Rock and Roll. She was prominent in the 1930s playing electric guitar and the actual major influence of many Blues and early Rock and Roll musicians.
Tommy Cash, Jonny Cash's brother has a band called the TomCats. They were in my home one night partying with my family until the sun came up. It was a fun and memorable night.
I miss hearing my older brother sing and playing his guitar ❤ if you all wanna hear him too look up "Just a Mouse" it's a song he wrote and made a video n posted here on UA-cam about the Arena Cheese factory here in Wisconsin
Thank you so much I really enjoyed highlighting this museum and every so often it’s nice to just be blown out of the water by the amount of information and cool stuff. This was definitely that.
Question of the day: What is your favorite instrument?
I like listening to violin music when I draw
I play piano and flute, but I wish I'd learned to play the acoustic guitar. I love listening to guitar, it's my favorite!
💕🎶 Guitar! 🎸
