@crapstirrer they would likely never re-record old songs as they are on a different record label. But I have noticed different live arrangements where Miku plays a riff Kanami was playing in older videos, or some small new parts that were not in the original

Then Kanami went off and wrote "Black Hole" that peaks at 220 bpm! So Akane goes and writes the drum patterns for the track. She wrote 7, for the band to choose which one. She labelled them: 1. Easy 2. Comfortable 3. Normal 4. Possible if I work hard 5. Tough 6. Painfull 7. Hell Akane said "Of course, the band chose Hell"!
Not only does she use her thumb to play the low E string but she even reach the A string for the last part of the riff ("E" and "A" strings in normal tuning, I know this is actually Drop D# tuning here😉). Only bluesmen with huge hands are playing like that usually (think SRV)!
I stated in the audio only reaction that this to me has a 1990s rock vibe. As in pure mid to late 90's Alt. Rock with a bit of Mike Einziger's influence being more than just the co-writer with Miku.

Great reaction... This is the second time I have watched this video of Bestie.. It just dawned on me....Back in the mid 70`s there was a glam rock band by the name of "Angel". They always dressed in white brought back memories. As a disabled musician of 56 plus years I have seen so many incredible musicians in my life. Band-Maid is my favorite of all time and that says a lot. Again great reaction. One of my favorite Angel's best song was "Tower" 🤘🤘

Actually, since they are singing all the lyrics in English, (Like ABBA used to do after using their own language beforehand) I think their outfits are possibly Maid outfits from a different culture as well.

I think the outfits are symbolic of them dropping their "battle armor" and putting themselves out there as vulnerable.
