White Course at the Deer Creek Hunt Club on 09/19/2023

This was a practice round of a little over 100 birds at the Deer Creek Hunt Club in Three Oaks MI on 09/20/2023 using a Blaser f16 shotgun and recorded using a ShotKam. I shot almost all of these as single shots as I am trying to switch my shooting style from sustained lead to pull away. Shot a 78/100 on the birds that would have counted. Looking at the video, I think I did shoot a lot more targets as pull away. They are getting ready for winter at Deer Creek so they moved all the traps in close so it was set up much easier than normal. Shot this round with 11/8 ounce #8 Wolf Performance Ammo shells at 1280 ft/sec. I used Briley Light Modified Chokes in both barrels. I did shoot all targets using a low gun ( FITASC style). I am more comfortable shooting low gun. Only started shooting pre-mounted a couple years ago. I don't have the smoothest gun mount but I do prefer it. This was also my first round shooting with glasses. At the North Central Regional, I decided that I was going to try to switch from contacts to glasses. I bought a set of SGS Performance Eyewear Lenses in the Dauntless style. They are pretty nice.
