    I saw the video of Mr. Woodcox and the aftermath of the Camp Fire. I respect him and I think he is one lucky man to be alive. I then got an email from Amain regarding the fire and I just wanted to comment on the newest vid to say that I am deeply feeling sorry for all who have lost their lives in this fire and for all that Amain has lost. Life is precious and should be valued more than some people do. It is not something to take for granted. Yes, I do a lot of dumb stuff myself that can very well start a forest fire, but I guess you could say that I am practicing safety when I’m not being safe... like blowing up capacitors and/or damaged lipos. I have a fire extinguisher and at least one bucket of sand at the ready. I have easily accessible med kits by my rc shop in my garage and I charge all my batteries in a vented metal box. I store them at a safe voltage and don’t overcharge them. I take care of them way more than a lot of people do. Some guys say I’m a bit too cautious with lipos, but I don’t think so. They are not a joke. I have had a lipo and a lithium ion battery fire before in my garage at both times and I have thankfully been in the area to get the batteries out. I have had many close calls with losing my life and I hope I don’t have any more ever again. My best wishes go out to all who have suffered or are suffering from the Camp Fire. When I attend RC races, the most dangerous thing is to turn marshal the races. When I marshal the 8th nitro buggy and truggy and electric 8th truggy races, it is extremely unnerving and a bit stressful. I have seen many drivers have to be driven to the ER because of serious injuries by a direct result of getting hit while turn marshalling. That’s why I always keep a med kit with me when I go to a track. Whether a kid needs a band-aid or a dad broke his ankle or Simeon’s has an inch deep gash on their leg that needs stitches, I’m ready. Everyone must know fire safety, knife safety, how to drive without putting other vehicles in dangerous situations... I would never wish what has happened upon anyone and I hope I am never in a position when I must be in such a terrible predicament. Whatever happens, I will continue to buy from my local hobby shops and Amain hobbies when they don’t have the thing I need. If you’d like to talk to me more about this or anything else Amain, please let me know because I’d be happy to.

    • @AMain_Hobbies
      @AMain_Hobbies  4 роки тому

      The Greens are soft and ideal for colder temperatures outside, where the Gold are a little harder, more ideal for when it's a little warmer out. I'd imagine the Green would be most ideal for a drag car, but it depends on how hot it gets in your area.

    Is there any TRAXXAS BANDIT hot rod, Rat rod, or Drag Bodies? I would prefer a Ford 32 Coupe Body. But if there are any that look cool or you think look cool, tell me.

    • @AMain_Hobbies
      @AMain_Hobbies  5 років тому

      No, nothing is a direct drop on perfect fit. There are bodies like you describe, but to fit, it's going to require some new parts, and some customization. The bandit could be used to make a street car like in this video, but you'd need the Slash chassis and Slash arms I believe to achieve the correct wheelbase and width of the Street Outlaw style bodies.

Inventory is something that every company must have to be successful. I know Covid 19. Funny but that's only for companies that are unprepared for there customers. The successful ones find products. Even if it means finding and creating new sources to meet the demands of there customers. No hands up or arms crossed. Because when you don't have the product we find someone who does. You know what they say about excuses.😎

    Do they make any bodies for the large groups of people that drag race 1/5 scale Gas ⛽️ Bajas ?? That would be pretty cool if they did !! I would definitely use one next season . We run 330 feet not baby’s 132 or 200 feet . 330 is a challenge for anyone. Anything can happen and anyone can when at any time no matter how much money you got in the Baja transmission platform with gas ⛽️ engine! Even the poorest guy can win. Unlike easy 132 feet
