I saw people who dislike him try to use Jokic's 11 offensive rebounds to discredit Embiid this game, so I went and watched Jokic's plays from this game. 6 of those rebounds happened when Embiid contested the Nuggets player that took the shot right before Jokic crashed the boards, and was not in position to box out. 3 more happened when Embiid was not anywhere near Jokic for the whole play. Only 2 of those boards were from Embiid not boxing out aggressively enough and allowing Jokic to get the rebound despite being matched up with him.
And that's not to discredit Jokic either, his positioning, timing, and ability to anticipate things are out of this world.
Still, incredible shotmaking and playmaking this game from the late bloomer out of Cameroon, and he also had a few key contests at the rim against late game Nuggets drives that made a difference in the end.
Now Embiid fans and Jokic fans are never gonna stop arguing and hating each other, so let's just sit back and wait for them to eventually match up in Denver again and for Embiid to try and really prove himself by making a leap forward in his playoff performance/luck.
Its actually crazy how much even the commentators are hating on embiid in this video. "Unlike Embiid, Maxey was terrific in the playoffs" like no duh he was injured likes hes been every playoffs. If you wanna bring up his injury struggles than go ahead but dont act like he underperforms for no reason

Anyhow, lets see Embid in Denver and playoffs, thats the time of year when he shts himself. On top of that he missed 9 games, one mire missed and he is out of MvP race which will 100% happen.
