  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events. According to diagnostic manual, one must have symptoms for at least one month following an event to receive a PTSD diagnosis. In some cases, particularly where it is not treated, PTSD can last a very long time, perhaps the remainder of one's life. Please consider seeking a professional help.

Just did this yoga as I’ve been going through a hard situation. I was assaulted in front of my fathers casket two years ago. After two years I came across the person that assaulted and it seems like I have to get used to presence. I work in a hospital and she’s working as an EMT and she will be taking patients there frequently. I’m going through a lot emotionally and mentally now, reliving the experience over and over again in my head.

This is a well rounded yoga sequence. I have had PTSD for almost 7 years now. It has gotten a little better. I practice yoga regularly & will add this one to my practice. Well done.
