Freddi Fish and Luther's Maze Madness is a game created by Humongous Entertainment in 1996. In this game, you must help Freddi Fish collect all of Grandma Grouper's kelp seeds in 50 maze levels filled with obstacles, enemies, powerups, and bonus items. It also features a customized level editor, but it's very limited since the editor only lets you use about 10% of what's in the original maze.

I find this game's music oddly relaxing and pleasant. If only Freddy didn't feel the need to remind you at the start of EVER SINGLE FRICKING LEVEL what you're supposed to do.
Should've just done what I did: quickly hit the escape key once the level started
@@Spoons109 True but I never did so since I was trying to enjoy the game and as a kid, I didn't know how to get around it. I didn't put the enemies in Bubbles or know how so the game was too hard for me to finish but other than the create your own levels, it is nice to know the game has 50 levels. That last one for you doing like every item get for 79k points is nice if you know all the tricks.
Wow the composer is the same guy that works on the Elder Scrolls games... that’s nuts. Had to be one of his earliest gigs in his 20’s

Last time I played this was sometime late in the 20th century.
I remember eating cheese balls while sitting on an adorably small felt chair at my CRT-screened computer that took minutes to boot up. Clear as day. Crazy how videogames can bring up such detailed memories.
The nostalgia hits different man... I was only a little girl when I played this along with other Freddi Fish games. Pajama Sam and Putt Putt were big ones too for me. Now I'm a sad, burned out adult living in the real world... at least I can relish in the warmth of these nostalgic childhood memories...

***** Not gonna lie, I got this on steam a few weeks back to relive some childhood memories... This game is deceptively rough. I was not expecting to get destroyed once I hit the back end of the game.
i've never played w/o the junior helper, the next time i play i should try hardcore-ing it xD

@@Bovolt I agree. I used the junior helper for the harder levels. The angler and blowfish would eat your sandwiches like crazy

I can't believe I actually remember this game, but very faintly. I remember playing this game and the other freddi fish games on my aunt's computer back in 1999. sometimes images of this game come in to mind every now but i couldn't quite remember what it was.

I remember starting but never finishing this game since my grandmother gave it to me but it brings back a lot of childhood memories.
I loved this game as a kid was right up there with pajama Sam, I also remember that it had a level creator which thinking back was a really cool feature for a children’s game

Oooh, that's actually really creative for such a game. I used to play this as a kid, but I never made it past that place with the pink coral (or was it the place after that?), and it's been so long since my mom gave the game away and even longer since I last played it that I completely forgot about most of the stuff in it (not the coral stages though, for some reason, so I probably found them to be frustrating or something, likely due to the doors).
i would play this game for hours when i was young :P

when i was little i remember playing this all the time. i never finished it though i think i got to level 48 or something like that.
level 48? Well, that's very impressive! At least it's better than most people; some people only get up to like level 14 and give up on it hahahha
Sorry for the late reply i think the main reason i couldn't finish it was the disc was scratched and it wouldn't play past that level or something lol. I remember fooling around more with the level builder part of the game more than anything.
I'm trying to remember what those trails of bubbles did. o_O
They're slippery: they force you to keep moving in the same direction and prevent you from turning or stopping.
God I remember level 24 stumping me *hard* as a kid. I had to have my dad solve it for me

llouw11 ya that part was nuts, I thought it would b cool 2 show it off. That part may require the Unlimited tries junior helper option to do it and the bubbles on option as well.
I think that’s the most difficult part of the game, even the later levels aren’t as intense.

Yes the level editor IS shitty there are only 3 themes and 3 types of enemies. However I heard of a secret level editor that the developers used but no one else knows how to use it.
One of the most annoying things is you going BACK AND FORTH through level tunnels, just to look for points. Points arent everything.
This is like asmr for me.

Kinda like Snap Dragon - a pc game where you take pictures as a dragon but there's also a computer program called SnapDragon that's completely different. I tried looking it up back in the day but nobody had posted anything from it. I had the same feeling as you!
