I've heard a lot that the original Elite Series 2 has problems with the RB and LB after a year, can you tell me if the CORE is like that too or if its material is different?
@@Valckorion so I’ve not had the core long enough to say. To be honest, I’ve used it 1 time so far. I do know this, I’ve had my elite version for a few years and never had an issue out of the RB/LB. However my left thumb stick no longer clicks, and the little rubber nub to help adjust trigger travel on the right has fallen off. As for differences, the main ones are in the video. The feel and a few text differences
@WhatsThatTech I'm seriously thinking about buying this controller to play on PC, to be honest I'm thinking about buying the original black version and then the white CORE one, do you think it's worth it?
Being worth it is all user preference. The grip is nice, but to be honest, I’ve never taken advantage of the features it offers. Never adjusted and keep the trigger travel different, never permanently used the paddles.. 99.9% of the time, I used it like a basic Xbox controller. I like the wight and the premium feel. So it’s really whatever you prefer. If you’re perfectly fine with a regular Xbox controller and just want grips, maybe look into getting aftermarket grips for a cheaper Xbox controller. Honestly, I just like the premium feel. But could do fine without
Core feels little more bulky but in all it's the better controller, no play in the thumbsticks like the standard elite series 2 the core more tighter. Feels amazing since the calibration update and also have no issues with LB & RB unlike the standard elite series 2.
@@toastedbyben new channel my friend. But thank you for the compliment. I have a video releasing soon.. been working on it for a bit. Hopefully enjoyable lol, miserable for myself 🤣
I've got 2 black ones a xbox design labs one and a blue core and the faceplate on my core just stsrted developing cracks for absolutely no reason, i sent it off they fixed it and its doing it again now
@@Bdizzy420 gotcha. I do have an original Xbox controller anymore.. just the elite and core now. Couldn’t compare.. butttt I could pick one up and talk differences lol
I would not recommend the elites replaced mine 3 times and had to replace within 2, 5, and 6 months. I just stopped and downgraded to standard and lasted me longer than the replaced elites.
@@Archetype_M3T4L right, for such an expensive controller, you’d think it would be made better. No bother to me tho, I am mostly mouse and keyboard lol
the adjustment button for my left button LB broke in the exact same way yours did. I can still move it but it’s got sharp edges/burrs
@@fraenkiboii oh snap, that’s no good!
I still need to take mine apart and see if I can repair it. Who knows, maybe make a video on it eventually
It’s crazy how the elite series 2 is 130 atm and the core is more😭
Yeah doesn’t make any sense lol
Atm?

@ yeah, I think the core feels pretty solid. I just don’t like that they left out the rubberized texture from the middle of the controller
How this man only 28 subs 😮😮

I subscribed 💯
Much appreciated!
I have the white Core controller. Had problems with the "A" button. Cleaning the PCB and membrane helped.
One of these days when I get bored enough.. I’ll open mine and see if I can fix it lol.
May even mix and match some pieces 🤣
I have had problems with my A button not registering all the time. Is this the same problem you have had?
@ I had that issue with the Y button on my elite controller from day 1.

@@davecomish6534 well that’s No good. I don’t like that they cheaped out on the core. And it’s a gorgeous controller too
I hope the Halo-Elite-Controller comes again! I didn't have become one🖖
That would be nifty!
my core does have this very premium plastic compared to a standerd
Compared to standard, yes. But what about the elite
@@WhatsThatTech Yeah it seems like it dunked in like rubber
@@WhatsThatTech its exactly the same just white lol

@@WhatsThatTech i think the color for the controller changed the formula i have heard that i have the white one
Does the core come with the paddles?
@@rclife3231 no it does not. Only the elite comes with the accessories. However, you can get the accessories separate and use them with the core.
We all know at that price, we can buy way better controllers
@@tranhuyuc8987 possibly so.. but idk what manufacturer. I’m uneasy about buying 3rd party controllers
