I'm a brother from Atlanta going to Kenya next month!!!!! my first time in Africa! Yo Czech! please keep showing your subscribers the "real" Africa and the beauty of Kenya and not just the poverty they show in racist American media. Appreciate you bro!
Welcome to Kenya Chezch is showing all the sides of Mombasa and if he will be capable he will show what he can Come and experience the Africa +Kenya)you see on cnn
WE APPRECIATE YOU ..I have been touring off and on for 4oty years , and YOUR CHANNEL HAS TAKEN ME TO FAR MORE PLACES ..THEN I'VE EVER SEEN..GREAT WORK,,SAFE TRAVELS
Czech, you're doing a wonderful job as I virtually go on "vacations" to some spots I will never land. Now you take me to the country I was born. I have nothing but love for you bro. Enjoy your stay in a country I truly love.
If you meet up with street hawkers but don't want to buy whatever they're selling, avoid giving them eye contact. If you give them eye contact, they think you're interested.
Cassava is a plant to itself. I'm not sure if you had Bammy when you went to Jamaica, however Bammies are made with Cassava. You can also boil and eat them like yams and potatoes.
Tip: in Kenya we use British English. 1. So here we say chips for "fries" or "French fries" regardless of whether it's made from Irish potatoes or sweet potatoes. 2. What you call chips in the USA is what we call crisps.
So happy to come across this video as with all your videos. I went to this exact spot when in Mombasa coming from the train station and heading to the ferry on my way to Diani, but it was at night. I still remember the fresh casava chips that I didnt want to try at first but once i tried one from my friend I knew immediately I needed my own full bag. Top Notch content as always. Loving the Kenya and Ghana content as well. You have what it takes and the right spirit of discernment. Keep going in Africa and the world!
nice video. I love my neighbors Kenyan people and the country they are our good neighbors. love from Ethiopia. this is my first video on Mombasa the city has similar vibes with Dire Dawa city in my country except from the beaches we don't have that🥲.
Czech you from Miami, they sell cassava/yuca on every block...Pollo Tropical (fast food chain) even sells it fried and boiled. I fell in love with cassava living in South Florida. You gone notice it everywhere when you get back to the crib. Every Caribbean group has multiple dishes. Jamaican spots sell Bammy bread.... taste like my Grandma's hot water corn bread!
You so ignorant 😏 Africans hate it when they get foreigners trying to make up an "African accent" because there's nothing such as an "African accent" 😏 Kenyans speak very differently from Tanzanians or South Africans or Nigerians or Any of the 54 countries
Hey brother Czech can you go to Dar es Salam Tanzania - I’m from that country. I was born and raised in Dar es salaam Tanzania. I currently live in U.S. keep up the good work! Brother If you can go to Arusha, Zanzibar and to a safari I would like to see the Big Five !
I need to make a trip to Kenya. I went to Addis-Abba twice now but need to hot Dijoubuti and Kenya. That Nyama Choma is a bomb but I wonder if it's more expensive in Kenya vs Ethiopia?
A Hebrew Israelite here! I repatriated from Boston to Ethiopia. I live in Oromia in the south. Make sure you cone to Shashemene, I will be waiting for you, Brother.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am moving to Mombasa this summer and depend on informative content so i appreciate what you are doing especially for people like me who wish to move to the continent. I found you through interview @Coopscorner Blessings ❤
Wow beautiful ❤️ My Almighty God bless you and enable you to travel the world 🙏 Welcome to Mombasa, Kenya...I will guide you through on the cheap but fine accommodation facilities we have here in Mombasa
The reality is that there is allot corruption in the land! Kenya is a beutiful and rich country but only corrupted leaders. Kenyans are very nice down to earth people. I love them soo much! I hope that this country will overcome the difficulties and will be on the top!
Nyama choma is equivalent to barbeque meat. The way guys grill meat during thanksgiving outside. So we do it the Kenyan way and if you ask any international traveler that has visited Kenya, nyama choma is the best Kenyan barbequed meat.
I used to want to expat to Kenya, but I don't cover up at the beach. They would probably stone me with their eyes. Hahaha. But beautiful country indeed!
Hey, Czech! When I first saw your videos, I thought you were really a true Czech. But I was surprised that you're an African American. Just goes to show me: I should NEVUH judge a book by its cover.
Glad you finally put intro in your videos bro. Was tired of seeing the same long footage all over again later in the videos. Plus 1hr videos are way too long.
If you want preferential treatment in Kenya as a black man pretend you are from Jamaica, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia or Congo. You might be given stuff for free. But if you mention USA, Canada, UK or South Africa you will pay double because they assume you are loaded
Hey Bro,i love your channel. But i need to address something about how you talk to these people. I don't care how other people on your channel view what I'm about to say,but it's just facts. You don't need to talk to them like they owe you something or that you are entitled. You sometimes come off as rude & disrespectful,Don't be so pushy & impatient. I know certain cultures you have to be on your guard, but you treat them like they are your servants. These people are already poor & trying to make it,show some love & talk to them with respect, not just when they do something nice for them. They owe you nothing, you are in their country...by choice not by force !
Hey Czech, love your channel! Here’s a tip if you don’t wanna look American in foreign countries: Do not wear hats and t-shirts with words or big logos on it. That’s an extremely American thing.
I don't think saying you come from south Africa won't change the price, I would advice you to just say America. All foreigners are treated the same in every place. The real deal is if you can master how to say "how much is this", in swahili then you can get treated like a local
Anywhere in Kenya, even in Mombasa it's not forbidden to record ladies. There's no sharia law here, like Saudi once you're in public you can record anything and anyone by law
I like the videos. But they're a bit lengthy. Also, I been a fan for 10months now and every single video I feel like I'm watching looped video. It's the same footage more than twice per video. This the first video that you actually posted the words intro. But intros are 30seconds-1min tops. Not 10mins or longer. Then the videos just keep going without even saying it was a previously shown footage. Getting tired of fast forwarding.
It is all a matter of style, preference and taste. As a filmmaker myself, I enjoy the approach of Czech's work. As a traveler I have an eclectic approach too. I like to view a place as a mosaic. I appreciate the exploration. Because ultimately that is what travel is all about, in my opinion.
You should have gone to the front of the hotel where you were trying to go get some drinks. instead of going through the back which was the beach. The entrance was the front hotel lobby and that way you would have asked them if they allow guests to come to the restaurant or bar if they have not booked any rooms. Not sure they do but was really waiting to see how you were going to get to the hotel bar and restaurant for the drink you were talking about but you ended the video before you go the place if you got there at all. Lolest. That was funny. You are a real risk taker going through the back places in those areas of Mombasa where there are beach boys as we call them. Those can be tricky places to go through that is why the guy you said was following you was doing that. Please be careful in Mombasa especially or anywhere you don't know for that matter. Let the uber drive you all the way to the hotels in Mombasa instead of walking. Once you get there you can walk through the beach to wherever you want to walk to then get back to your hotel safely instead of what you did. Glad you were safe I think. Lessons learned.

You should always link up with a local UA-camr for a better experience.
Go to Watamu or Diani. It's really nice there. Very nice beaches and cocktails places.
Dude should have kept walking along the beach, the best spots were right ahead before he made a turn to the parking lot.
At least you saw people at the beach unlike being told otherwise 😂
Big up my Brother. Nice vid 💯
Can't wait for Czech to land in the beautiful Ethiopia.

Have you ever eaten yucca in any of the Latin countries you’ve visited? Cassava and yucca are the same thing.
Yes I eat yuca in United States but I never had yuca like chips
