I've read most books and short stories by PJF at worst they have interesting ideas and at best he can be brilliant. Dayworld imo should have been trimmed to one book. One thing ive always liked about Farmer is that he was great at naming characters
I had a tough time with Riverworld when the books were coming out in print. In 2011, after back surgery, I was advised to walk as often as possible. I gave Riverworld another chance, this time in the form of audiobooks on my walks, and I couldn't get enough! Around that time I read that my favorite series, Zelazny's Amber was inspired by Farmer's World of Tiers. Now, after reading and listening to the 10 Amber novels multiple times, I'm desperate to find audio versions of the World of Tiers series. Where?! Anyone?!
I too am looking for audiobooks of this series. U have vol 1. I read the first book used to have an original print. reading it effects me way better than audio but I can't always quietly read 😢
@@kristinhillwig6719 Better late than never! There are many series that I'm only finding now in the present, often when I do my end of year suggestion solicitations for the series
Really glad I found your channel. I watched your video of how to read philosophical text can you suggest some gateway books of philosophy for a 17 year old(which I can understand)
