Hello dear friends, A lot of you have been asking me to do this video. I hope it will be helpful. Please give me thumbs up if you find this video helpful. I really appreciate your support! xoxo
Yes I’ve been waiting for this video your tip on how to apply powder genius I’ll try it, I’ve been applying with a brush and sometimes it’s cakey (I have the Chanel loose powder) so I stopped using powder but I think I’ll get the Givenchy one I have normal/dry combination skin. Thank you my dear Angela 💕 your make up today is so beautiful ☺️
I really prefer Givenchy powder, it works every time for me 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉
I bought the Prisme Libre on your recommendation, and got the Sparkling Mousseline last holiday season. I love it. I didn’t realize there are different shades of the Prisme powder. I have oily skin so this video confirms I made the better decision between this one and the Sisley. Thanks for the help! 🙏
Thank you so much for watching Cwyn :) I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed the Givenchy powder. xoxo
You are absolutely right. I have dry and mature skin and the Givenchy powder, even though beautiful, is so matte that it made my face look as flat as a dish!! So mature and dry skin stays away from the Givenchy powder, please.
I just purchased the Givenchy powder in a mini. I also have Sisley powder but I like them both for me. I needed a travel size powder and Givenchy had it and a great idea to make. Great video
Both look beautiful on you!! I have both, Givenchy and Sisley, and I like them each for different reasons. I’m happy to have them in my collection. 💌
Thumps up first then watching/listening the review 😁
Awww Thank you so much! It means a lot to me! xoxo
Yesh, I am renewing my makeup, I am repurchasing sisleya foundation and the loose powder. I love your blouse 🥰
Thank you for this comparisson. It was useful. I've tried Sisley powder in the past snd loved its light texture and how it melts into your skin. I was going to repurchase it but after watching your video I am going to try Givenchy. I have combination skin and foundation usually gets a bit patchy on my forehead and my chin after 2-3 hours.
Hello Angela! You look lovely as usual. Love your look today! You are convincing me more and more to pick up the Chanel quad in Quiet Revolution. Your eyes look so pretty using this quad. Thank you for always giving info on what makeup you wear each video. Also, thankyou for comparing these two products today. These comparison videos are most helpful. Take care. Have a great day!!
Hello Angela Van Rose! I really enjoy your videos. I think you do a beautiful job. I like how you are classy and elegant but not stuffy or pompous. Also, you are gorgeous. I have combo skin too. My cheeks are drier and my T-zone is oily with dilated pores. It is a struggle. I have tried all sorts of powders spending a lot of money and still I get shiny in the T-zone. I think I will be giving Givenchy a try now because of this video. I also will be giving the sponge application a try as well. Thank you so much.
Oo you came up with things I didn’t think to consider…like which is better for dry skin and oily
Thank you so much for watching my video ❤️
Hello Angela, I would love it if you vlog, Lets say showing us Milan , shopping for make up, of course once it can when covid has lessened.
Hello! Do you still like de Givenchy powder now that is reformulated? Thank you for the video! ❤
Thanks Angela, what surprised me is how bad the MAC sit under eye. I got translucent and the one yellow based and they actually sit terrible and I'm an oily skin yet find MAC very drying of the skin. It gave me under eye wrinkles that I don't have, a creping. I'm oily with dictated pores so will go with Givenchy!
Angela, your eye look is stunning! I like both powders but do notice the givenchy prism can be more drying. You look beautiful as always with your black lace dress or top. 😊❤️
Can you please do a review of blanc divin tone up cream by Givenchy?
Liked the video. I have quite oily skin. I have tried both of these powders, and I prefer the Sisley. It is my most used (now that Chanel has reformulated their loose powder). In Sisley, I use the 01 Irisee shade, which is one with a bit of sheen. On my skin, I do not even see it has any sheen once it is applied. Perhaps something with that formula makes it better suited for oily skin than the matte one? As you say - everyone's skin takes product different. Always best to have a sample if available before purchase :-)
Thank you for the review. Definitely helpful 🤗
Enjoyed watching this video - you look very pretty and serene - very elegant. Both powders looked lovely on you. I had been interested in the Sisley as I like the idea of a very very delicate pink sheen to finish a look however, from what you said I imagine the pink hue is imperceptible?
Hello Annie and thank you so much for the kindest words! :) That's correct. The pink hue is imperceptible on the skin. This is still one of the best powders that I own. Have a wonderful day and thank you for watching! xoxo
@@Frenchforaday May I ask what foundation brand and shade you prefer? On my screen you look like you might be similar in skin tone to me - pale olive? I struggle to find suitable dewy foundations - I am using the Surratt no. 1 which although is very pale with a yellow undertone seems to work reasonably well on my skin when it dries down. I would love to find a proper pale olive tone though and thought I would ask you for any recommendations? I would so appreciate it. Have a lovely day! xx
Thanks for your comparison. It was most helpful to me!
Hi, I'm wondering if i can use the givenchy voile rose powder, I'm fair skinned but not as fair as you. I have a neutral undertone.
That was great 👍 xxx I brought the givenchy one because of you x I loved it x Thankyou x
Oh Angela, You look amazing (as always) - and now I want the Givenchy powder :D!
Hello Maria :) Thank you so much for watching! As always your support means so much to me! xoxo
Hi Angela ! Thank you for this comparaison. I am interesting by Sisley powder for a long time and ,after your review, I think I will try it 😉
I have normal skin and I use the Givenchy powder ( same color as yours) as a finishing powder to buff everything out and it’s beautiful !
Have a good day ! 💗
Hello Amira :) thank you so much for watching my video. I hope you will like the Sisley powder too. xoxo
Hello Angela!!! I prefer the Givenchy.
Hello Chris :) Me too. It's my favorite.
I love your review,I also love your eye makeup look .thank you for sharing your thoughts on both the brands. Thank you 🤗🤗🤗
Halo friend. I am very strange. I don' t use setting powder of any kind. I only use Guerlaine meteorites as. A finishing powder. Very little. XO.
What shade of Sisley do you have
If you don't mind me saying. You have like me a more pronounced under eye area, the right side ie the left for the watcher of UA-cam! Do you feel your right-side is more problematic? Id love a whole face in Prism powder and your all day wearing update! Great job!
I really like By Terry setting powder. my skin is normal and sometimes dry.
Sisley forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Whats you shade on sisley? Is it 2?
Thanks for this video! I just purchased the Prisme Libre powder for the first time and it’s arriving tomorrow... this video reassures me that I’ve made the right decision! By the way, you look soooo much like a famous Dutch actress named Carice Van Houten! :0
Hi Angela, can you recommend a fragrance from House of Sillage that is a very light, floral. Not too sweet, not too overwhelming. Thank you.
How do these powders compare to the Chantecaille perfect blur powder (I know it’s not loose) in terms of the result?
Can I ask why you prefer the Mousseline Pastel shade over the Satin Blanc shade of the Givenchy Powder? Is it because the pastel shade is brighter? I’m interested in purchasing that powder but I’m stuck between deciding between those 2 shades.
May I ask you which one you decided to go for? I am stuck between those two as well
Hi Angela, what is the brand of blush you used?
I think it's chantecaile
It's quite Detailed. ❤️
Very clearly explained. Thank you!
Which one blurs dilated pores though? My skin is dry now
One to consider is By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder, it blurs but is more hydrating. A primer can also help fill in pores.
thx 4 your review. love youe eye makeup
I’m not sure but I don’t think the Sisley rose orient is a matte powder. It is in the same range as Irisee and it has a lovely sheen when buffed in very lightly at the end of your makeup which is when I use it. I have found the Rose Orient has the same explanation online and it also has a beautiful sheen when buffed....
Hi Kathleen, when I look at the powder very closely it's not a flat matte powder and as I mentioned it is very light. Irisee has tiny reflective particles which I can clearly see (like little glitters) that are very visible both when swatched and on the face. (something similar to the new Dior Holiday cushion powder). Rose Orient looks invisible in my opinion. I think that's why it's so suitable for dry skin or normal skin. When I swatch the powder now on my hand I see the sheen that you are talking about but on my face it looks matte. I think what people were afraid of was the shimmer in the Irisee powder.
@@Frenchforaday thankyou for being so sweet and checking it all again....I understand what you are suggesting now and upon checking both of mine I can see the tiny reflective particles in irisee....have a lovely day..xxx
@@kathleencoomans8210 Thanks for writing Kathleen, Sometimes I miss little nuances and it's always very helpful when we can have a chat. This helps a lot to be more precise for future videos and helps me to become better. Have a great day too! :) xoxo
You look amazing
About the ingredients. Givenchy has talc and Sisley doesn’t
thanks
I know I’m late to the game but does the Sisley powder have talc? :)
👏👍
Why isn't it in English?
