Stingettes were boring. Dolls won this one. Their look was better, Danielle came with new counts and a new formation. And she about to work my ass out learning these new 3 new counts.

Would've love to hear ASU blow No Other Love back. SU's version was powerfull but it's not groovy enough.
S dot Slim They got the idea to play it from ASU. Nobody was playing No Greater Love but ASU way back in 2009.
SU version was way better & Taylor wrote exactly how the song was arranged. ASU version was too slow. It wouldn’t have been a good idea to play it back honestly.

Very good battle. Both bands had quality sound. Alabama's intro to bust the windows out your car was bomb i really enjoyed it im really impressed that they matched su's power dispite the slight size difference. Southerns arrangements never cease to amaze me. From the other footage of the game i cant really pick a winner. I can tell both bands have been practicing nonstop.

Both bands sound great! Great job ASU! SU a more complete performance than ASU though. Not feeling SU's arrangements but they got the W! Decent battle because ASU got heart!

ASU has cleaned up a bit this year. The balance is still lacking. Trumpets and Mellos are getting drowned up a bit. That damn Jukebox is just head and shoulders above anyone right now.
Not really an ASU fan but shout out to Dr. O. and A.B. for holding their own.

This wasn't even close. This is merely a case of a band doing better than expected, so fans want to give them a "ceremonial" W. SU's sound quality is unmatched and they were clearly playing light work at them. The battle was over really after the first song (light work) and the second song solidified the outcome if there were any doubters. Also, if you are going to take a jab at band, make sure the jab sounds good. The chords were wrong, trumpets were out of tune and not balanced. ASU needs more work.
SU should've hit them with Memoirs cause that arrangement is DEADLY

Lol yeah they can sound full the issue at the game yesterday was the band as whole wasn't really that strong. Their tubas though .. they were on it. Basically their btones was the strongest in the band. But my question is do bama march with btones or euphoniums because none of those horns match lol

this was a quick battle both really did good jobs asu lower brass better and southern upper brass was better it was a tie but I know both got clean and I don't think JSU can mess with neither one cause they trash this year
I'm probably the biggest SU fan period but the only thing I dont like about them is they don't battle they opponent...meaning that they battle themselves from week to week... if you pay attention ASU is battling Southern but it don't seem like SU is battling anyone seen alot of this last season Ex: PV .....I wish they would attack their opponent more like 2014 year!....Still the most complete band in HBCU !!!

I wouldn't call this a Battle at all, Seemed like ASU was a High school Allstar band going against Southern a prestigious University Band and they knew they were getting stabbed so they tapped out early. I understand it wasn't the Best weather, However the 2 different sounds and style are just on completely different levels.. I Love ASU Bust your windows but i was disappointed. 2007/8 was better and more powerful but their tubas still up to par.

Jay go Tee, You have to be speaking on volume because Asu Bust Your Windows was loud and sloppy in 2008. The 2016 Asu isn't as loud as 08, but they definitely sound better. Now, no one in HBCU land is messing with Southern's staff at this point IMO. If Asu had a staff of that caliber they would be right up there with SU, but the students can only do so much and play what is given.
Great job to both bands! If you can survive SU, your doing okay Asu. Keep focusing on sound over volume like you're doing before the number increase again.
