    Excellent video. I've been browsing through backpacks for Uni and this one seems to fit the bill just fine. Lots of room for stuff and organizational options, also not so expensive that you start thinking twice about buying it.

    It was a nice video I do have one suggestion and that is to stand while you are presenting the bag. It would make it a lot easier for everyone to see the inside of the bag and it makes it easier to present it.

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  7 років тому

      Thanks for the idea, yeah you're right on that, I generally sit during my videos so I just did that by habit. Some products are better standing up though depending on size and all that. Thanks for the suggestion and please subscribe!

    Great Video, I have been watching reviews for the last 3 days now, I can barely decide among this Eveki Titan and the Atlas to travel with my really heavy workstation HP Elitebook 8700W... but this video definitively helped a lot to give it a deeper thought..

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  7 років тому +1

      I personally would say go for the Titan, the Atlas is great and all, but unless you really need the wheels I would say go for the Titan. I just move my bag essentially to and from the car and houses, so wheels isn't worth anything for me, but I suppose if I traveled on planes a lot I might be more incline to get something with wheels.

    great video! One really important point with bags in this price range you didn't discuss is how Everki supports their products. From what I've read if you ever have a problem you call them and they send you a new bag without hassle, even if your bag fails YEARS down the road. That's a huge selling point, at least for me.

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  7 років тому

      That is a huge selling point for me as well, I haven't had to contact them personally though which is good, but I have heard the same about their customer support which is awesome.

    • @RLW423
      @RLW423 7 років тому +1

      I contacted them a few days ago as the Beacon has the nice console sleeve but the Titan is the bag I really need. They'll sell me just the console sleeve for $35 shipped, or throw it in for FREE if I order the bag from them. Better deal to buy the Titan off ebags for $143 and get the sleeve later if I feel it's still necessary.

      Erin Hamedi That's awesome to hear then, sounds like some great customer service.

    Thanks for the video! Still holding up in October 2019?

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  5 років тому +2

      Yes, I still use this on a daily basis to carry around my Alienware and a ton of other gear (batteries, fullsize keyboard, etc... probably 30 ish pounds of stuff). So far the only damage I have had is the water bottle strap in the pocket tore out due to me using too large of water bottles for it lol, that happened about 2 months ago. And some of the stitching around the stretchy pocket has frayed a bit but still totally fine in terms of durability, it's not like ripping out. Very impressed actually, I had kinda forgotten just how long I've had this bag, I use it for traveling as well on work trips and it works great for that, barely fitting in overhead bin but it always does fit lol.

      How's it working out for you? I still use mine today, many years later. Only issue is the logo came off the front, and the water bottle holder inside the pocket snapped finally (I have oversized bottles so I thought it would break much sooner). Maybe I should make a follow up review?

    • @JimmyGunXD556

      @@WordTech Hi. Well....Over more thought I actually went with the Atlas instead. Kinda wish I did the Titan for a little more room. I was thinking I needed something a little more "business" and is working out wel but no excited about it l. I just miss larger military type packs with PALS webbing so I can attach any molle compatible pouch and configure the pack as I see fit. One gripe I have with many packs is once you load one section it interferes with room and realestate in the compartment next to it. I am 50/50 on liking it as I have people I work with with Samsonite and Swiss that seem to have more room at almost have the price. I don't see me having it much longer.

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  4 роки тому

      Ah I see, yeah I personally love large packs too so I went with the Titan and haven't gone back. I've been considering replacing it at some point though, but that is purely because I am "bored" of it (yeah bored of a pack lol). It's still holding up incredibly well though so maybe there is no point in spending the cash.

    Good video However how do you rate the theft risk. Is it possible to secure the zippers?

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  6 років тому +1

      The zippers do support putting padlocks through them, still backpacks are never really that secure. For that you're better off with a large case or like briefcase with code locks on them. But for basic security this works fine.

    Pretty much the only rucksack that can even hold the monstrosity that is a Clevo P870, though it's really pushing the limit.

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  7 років тому

      Indeed, funny thing actually I have a whats in my bag sort of video on my channel as well, and I actually show me putting my setup in there, which includes a P870DM2 haha (Sager model but same as the Clevo). It actually holds it all quite well!

    I see a hole on the bottom of the laptop sleeve so I guess the corner of your laptop is expose especially the g752 due to is size do you think is gonna be an issue if you drop your backpack ???
    By the way amazing review

    • @idontplayeveryday
      @idontplayeveryday 7 років тому

      What hole? Where in the video do you see it?

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  7 років тому

      There isn't a hold in the larger sleeve pocket, it keeps the machine nice and safe. I have set it down quite hard before by mistake, not dropped, but very near so lol, and it held up just fine.

  • @4fgs34

    Amazing review! Do you think this can hold the alienware r4 17? Is 29.9 x 424 x 332 mm, and that 13.1 inches are worrying me thanks!

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  5 років тому +1

      I had a Sager Laptop in there for a while and it fit great. However that is only 12.1 inches wide. You might run into issues, it's hard to say. I just measured it and 13 will be a stretch for sure. If you order from Amazon though you can always return it if it doesn't work.

    Good video, but I am not sure if you are able to get 50 lbs of gear in there.

    • @WordTech
      @WordTech  8 років тому +1

      I have had pretty insane amounts of gear in it before, the video doesn't do it's size justice. I haven't weighed it, but I know I have gotten at least 25 or so pounds in it, as my laptop alone with power brick weighs about 12 pounds. Honestly it's not that bad, much better than many similar sized channels. But also I've got much higher end gear now, this is a very old video.
