  • Wow I was not expecting my 330X to shake like that! I need to work on my gains! I'm glad I was able to fly still at 65%. I've lowered my gains a bit since this video and it has helped but I still need to adjust them some more. Video on all the adjustments soon! I said I would work out the headspeed, I'm very surprised at 100% headspeed!! These headspeed numbers range for a pack under load at 11.1 volts and a pack under no load at 12.6 volts
100% motor speed 3453-3920 Rpm! (never tried 100%)
80% motor speed 2762-3136 (Death Wobble Speed)
    65% motor speed 2244-2548
    50% motor speed 1727- 1960

So there is something bent, check feathering shaft first then main shaft. Also Check for slip in the head and linkages. Did the wobble start out of no where or after a crash?

First of all, Thank you for commenting! Yes it started after a crash but the last crash was very bad, I almost didn't fix it but I love it so I did. Almost rebuilt the whole thing, motor, main shaft, feathering shaft, main grips, all the bearings and dampeners in the head got replaced as well as main bearings, swashplate, one way bearing, all linkages, 2 servos, and a few other things. After all that and blade tracking and checking everything 5 times it still shook at any speed higher than 40%, finally tried lowering my P.I.D. gains and got it to go up to 65% motor again, I thought it was mostly fixed until I tried that 80%, and before it shook, like a vibration, this is a whole different wobble now. I'll go check for slip in the head and links, other than that I've tried lowering gains again, It seemed to help but not much, I'll try lowering them some more to. This reply turned out way long, Thank You again for taking the time to help me out with my heli!

@@kingfamilyrc5376 so something is definitely bent. Gain is not going to fix anything, you replaced a lot of parts did you replace the head block? It sounds like the damage was pretty severe you most likely got a band in the head blocked itself. Go through and double check yourself sometimes when you do such a full rebuild you can forget/leave stuff out. Make sure that your head is assembled properly your spacers are in the right spot no greediness or Blade grips being too tight cannot move properly. Make sure your belt tension is proper as well because a loose belt can create a nasty vibration throughout the tail which will move to the helicopter itself. Grab a blade move it up and down make sure that there is no excess slop.

I did replace the head block yes, I'll go back through it, very possible I may have gotten a spacer wrong or something off at some point. I didn't check my belt yet so I'll check that as well. Thanks again for taking time to offer some advice man!
