new green spotted puffer for the reef- vermited snails can it work? stay tuned!!!

New green spotted puffer fish for the saltwater aquarium/reef. Hope this guy can help me take care of vermited snails since I don't see bubble-bee snails having much of an impact. Fingers crossed. I thought puffer fish are not reef safe

Yes, however the green spotted puffer fish is seen mostly in freshwater, as an adult the puffer fish need to be in saltwater to live long term. Green spotted puffer fish is recently becoming more common amongst reef aquarists as it is considered reef safe with caution. I've had him in the tank for a few days and have not seen him directly bothering any corals. I will give an update on a later date regarding his behavior and if it did in fact help me out with the vermited snails
