It has been two years since the tutorial was recorded. The user interface has undergone significant changes, including the implementation of drag and drop functionality for desktop. However, the overall functionality of the simulator remains valid. Enjoy the video!
IN - Input - Bool - The input that starts the timer PT - Preset Time - Time - The length of time the timer will run for Q - Output - Bool - The result of the timer ET - Elapsed Time - Time - The current elapsed time of the timer
Very nice work, When I load empty project the ladder diagrams area clears but I am left with the variables names, types & values on the left quadrant of the screen they do no seem to clear? I am using firefox.
Really great sim, but it would be great if we could organise the variable list so you can watch specific variables without having to scroll through the list for them
I need help with being able to determine which rungs are true and which are false after a specific run time on a PLC schematic and I want to know if there is any way I can double check my work some how. Please let me know as soon as possible where to specifically look to be able to know how to do this. Thanks
Great & useful project. Tks from Brazil. Let's share with classmates at UNIVESP University. Our class is studying Industrial Automation during this semester.

Really impressive job, Simon. Thank you for your effort!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for making this accessible and free. You are the best!
You're very welcome!
Thanks for building this app. It helps young engineers to gain experience in PLC programming.
You're welcome!
Amazing online tool! Everything what I need on start
Great to hear!
This was awesome and so helpful. As im currently learning Ladder Logic for a postion at work. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing. Great Video!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for creating this amazing online simulator.
Your kind words give me the fuel to keep working on it. :)
Thank you for your wok my friend, it is a great tool for students, new sub!
Thank you!
A brilliant idea and tool!
Glad you like it!
This is really helpful, thank you for taking the effort with this simulator!
Great job!
Thanks!
the video is excellent and I like it. where can I find explanations for abbreviations PT ET and so on thanks
IN - Input - Bool - The input that starts the timer
PT - Preset Time - Time - The length of time the timer will run for
Q - Output - Bool - The result of the timer
ET - Elapsed Time - Time - The current elapsed time of the timer
Subscribed. Now wish you'll upload more videos soon.
❤❤❤ thank bro
No problem 🙂
So easy to grasp - well done
Glad you think so!
thank you for the sim. Is it possible to save an project to load it in another chance?
Yes it is. You can get a sharable link that will load your saved diagram.
Please check this video: ua-cam.com/video/NwzdjFI9j9Q/v-deo.html
what is In and R in timer?
Whenever In input is hi, the timer counts the time. R input resets the timer.
You can check my video about timers ua-cam.com/video/b4Kz_k7ZkLw/v-deo.html
This simulation uses the contacts as switch button. is there any way we can use it as push buttons ? i.e value is true only when pressed
No, sorry :(
Great! I like it!
Thanks
Welcome
BELLO ASSURDO MINO
tq
🤝
very well explained good job
Thank you!
Great project man!
Thank you!
Where can i get the simulator?
app.plcsimulator.online/
HOW DO WE GET A CNT COUNTER ON THIS SIMULATOR
There is no CNT counter in IEC 61131-3. I'm sure you can use CTU or CTD counters to meet your needs.
HOW I USE COUNTER UP/DOWN
????
Please check this example: app.plcsimulator.online/aL7qjq5XDsLuLDadYrwm
Play with it and you should get the idea.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!
This is awesome!!! Thank you!
You're so welcome! :)

I am using firefox.
Thank you! Can you share the link to your empty project so I can see if you have any variables in it?
@@codingplc Working today! Thank you for your quick response & offer to look into this issue.

Really great sim, but it would be great if we could organise the variable list so you can watch specific variables without having to scroll through the list for them
I'll implement that with drag and drop, but I can't promise when. :)
how the hell do i add more than the 3 preexisting variables
Input box in the bottom-left corner if you're on a desktop. Change the tab to variables if you're on a mobile.
Great tool, congrats!!

Welcome. :)
Respect sir,
Could you please make a playlist of all basic programming and ladder logic in PLC please 🙏🏻 please sir🎉....Thank you
Will try :)
