Sims 4 might not count, but it's definitely creepier. I love how they animated a "normal sims" reacting to the possessed state: start with a friendly conversation, their smile starts to fade due to the strange behavior, quiet shock when they fear an attack, nervous laugh. Really well done.
It really is a good reaction, the tentative face waving trying to call their attention before they jump back always makes me laugh though 😂The possession animation especially is truly disturbing to me. They're fighting it, violently, inside and out, then they get _that_ smile and you know they lost. Hello? Buddy? Are you there?? If that's not you, who IS??? Sims 4 in general does great animation wise - a lot can be said about the mermaid pack but the animations are amazing, I can't get enough watching that tail swish, especially compared to the mermaid knees of Sims 3.
To be fair, the animation from Sims 3 is also cool. One where they nonchalantly make fun of them, another where they're so terrified that they back off, and the one where they're still unsure if they will actually bite them
Idk I was always creeped out of the full moon lighting in sims 3 and how they just decide to walk around your house. Like the sims 4 ones are harmless, sims 3 ones can harm you
I was scared of the zombies in TS3. I used to place several peashooters in the garden on every full moon night and lock my sims up inside the house just for good measure. But most of the time, the zombies who appeared didn’t do anything except stand still in the garden and growl all night and then go back to normal at sunrise. So after a while, I stopped being scared and just ignored them. I still made sure to get my sims home before the full moon came out though, just to be sure. To this day, I still don’t know if the zombies were supposed to just stand around or if my game was bugging.
its not a bug, I think what it is if they will queue up trying to attack your sims, but if they're inside they can't attack. so it's that they're trying to queue up the actions constantly
I always had to have a Witch in the family to just, revive them, because they were just super annoying when a neighbor happened to walk around the place and I didn't want more zombies.
I was really annoyed by the Sims 3 zombies until I realized I could just fence my garden in and lock the gate - yay, plants protected! And then they became some of my favorite additions, since they're so random (like the full moon night they all showed up in swimsuits to line dance in my back yard, or the time they showed up at my outdoor wedding - I hadn't been paying attention to the moon cycle - and ate all of my wedding cake😆). I also love the "you're sooooo cute" animation that some sims do during a zombie attack, so Sims 3 zombies definitely get my vote!
Sims 3 is a clear winner in my opinion for this one. They've fleshed them out more and not just made them more like normal sims with a few quirks. They're definitely not perfect, far from it, but they feel more like zombies.
Zombies eating my plants in The Sims 3 was so damn frustrating. 😠 They’re the reason why almost all of my houses turn into giant greenhouses and I always go to another lot with my selected sim to protect my trees. Saved my beautiful trees for a very long time until my witch sims learned the sunlight charm. 😏
You could simply disable full moon option, it doesn't affect anything except of werewolves and moodlet of fairies, but you can enjoy Supernatural without the annoying attacks).

I honestly think Sims 4 is the last main game for the franchise and they will have it go on indefinitely. Sims 5 seems like a mobile side game by how they are describing it. :/
That’s kinda dark even for a knowledge sim imo… But then again, knowledge sims in TS2 were always special like that. Getting wants to see ghosts in general (other sims only wanted to see the ghost of their enemies), or a want to get abducted by aliens.

I remember getting supernatural as a kid and panicking at my first zombie attack 😭 I didn’t know it was a feature and I swear my game was bugged bc it kept happening 😭😭
I wish I could but I acually got a new laptop and had to keep the old one cause it won't run Sims 2 properly. There's lots of errors that can happen when installing these and I'm unsure how to solve them outside of googling the specific error and hoping someone else has experience with it
The Sims 3 turning animation is great but the contagious zombies that also attacked every full moon were a pain. They were why I never bought Sims 3 Supernatural. The Sims 4 possessed sims are probably not literally zombies but they are pretty creepy (I just wish Sims got a moodlet for interacting with one of them, especially a friend- that would upset me!). The zombies were always a bit annoying or boring so not super upset they're not in 4. I think if they did do them again I'd rather have them be like voodoo zombies or a zombie like in Being Human (she was pretty much a normal person but falling apart/rotting) where they just randomly can't use stuff because something fell off. Maybe they could do something like iZombie where they can gain random people's personalities or abilities temporarily but I don't know how you can really do brain eating without being able to kill sims

TS3 Supernatural was my first expansion. I remember being so scare of zombies back then I ended-up disabling the moon cycle xD So for me, TS3 zombies are the winners. Although I hate that they eat plants!! -_- because I like to play with gardener sims
That is actually not true. They just lose most of their personality points no matter what it used to be. In the video, you can see what John's personality was before becoming a zombie (the lines below the personality points).

It's just aesthetic, other than that it's just they get stinky quickly (it's an interesting concept since they are zombies whose flesh is probably rottening, but on the real gameplay it ends up being just annoying) and they are SUPER SLOW... they reminded me of mummies in the sims 3 🤡 they are common sims with a couple of disadvantages. The sims 3 zombies are what I'd pick for winner, but... They are so annoying, I still feel a bit of a grudge towards them when I remember the first times I was playing with supernatural and was trying to grow some harvestables to make more money, my sim was super poor and then those... came at the full moon and destroyed everything... The idea of having my sims being attacked by zombies and being zombies for one night kinda amuses me, it's funny to imagine them making a big zombie party causing chaos in the streets and in the very next day everything is fine and no one is zombie anymore lol, but... Playing with a permanent zombie? Sounds more like a problem than a fun experience here as well... That's why I feel how I feel... I really hope in 4 when we get if we get, we get something that's only fun and not mostly annoying... Anyways... If you read all this and wanna say something, specially if you disagree... I share the same opinion. The Sims 4 is around for so many years and EA just want money, you can´t run TS4 in a 10+ old PC anymore because of so many DLCs, TS3 had updates for only 4 years and i love it to this day, TS2 for only 4 years too and same here, TS1, which sims never dies, can be more entertaining than TS4... TS3 won today, zombies there are really annoying hahaha and more realistic.
sims 1 zombies got it easy when comes to getting a cure for being zombie sims 2 zombies are pretty much left out in the cold for not having a cure sims 3 zombies are the most balanced in comparison o the other sims series zombies but at least we don't need to worry about sims 4 zombies well unless you count the stronger ville sickness that turns you into a freaky mindless zombie so i guess this could count as a state of being zombie but i feel like their not the same thing but it doesn't count but maybe it can count like a zombie like state of being at least?
I think Sims 4 have zombie in the New pack for the Sims 4 You Need this steps: 1: You Need the New pack of the Sims 4 2: go to the Construction mode and put in the trait named "Moo" 3: Wait for your sim to get infected 4: You Can walk as a zombie This Is the Last But You Will die Because of the moo

In sims 2, if you kill a zombie and revive it with between 4200 and 8000 something he will comeback with reversed traits personality.

It's just aesthetic, other than that it's just they get stinky quickly (it's an interesting concept since they are zombies whose flesh is probably rottening, but on the real gameplay it ends up being just annoying) and they are SUPER SLOW... they reminded me of mummies in the sims 3 🤡 they are common sims with a couple of disadvantages.
The sims 3 zombies are what I'd pick for winner, but... They are so annoying, I still feel a bit of a grudge towards them when I remember the first times I was playing with supernatural and was trying to grow some harvestables to make more money, my sim was super poor and then those... came at the full moon and destroyed everything... The idea of having my sims being attacked by zombies and being zombies for one night kinda amuses me, it's funny to imagine them making a big zombie party causing chaos in the streets and in the very next day everything is fine and no one is zombie anymore lol, but... Playing with a permanent zombie? Sounds more like a problem than a fun experience here as well... That's why I feel how I feel... I really hope in 4 when we get if we get, we get something that's only fun and not mostly annoying...

i don't think sims 4 possesed thing count as a zombie, it counts as a new thing that the other games don't have tho but not as a zombie.
I do hope some day some point they will add zombies to the Sims 4 at this point I doubt it though I guess the only way how is just using the Zombie mods for it. I love letting Zombies spread around in the sims 2 with mods lol

I share the same opinion. The Sims 4 is around for so many years and EA just want money, you can´t run TS4 in a 10+ old PC anymore because of so many DLCs, TS3 had updates for only 4 years and i love it to this day, TS2 for only 4 years too and same here, TS1, which sims never dies, can be more entertaining than TS4... TS3 won today, zombies there are really annoying hahaha and more realistic.

You can kinda make zombies in the Sims 4 using the vampire DLC.
sims 1 zombies got it easy when comes to getting a cure for being zombie sims 2 zombies are pretty much left out in the cold for not having a cure
sims 3 zombies are the most balanced in comparison o the other sims series zombies but at least we don't need to worry about sims 4 zombies well
unless you count the stronger ville sickness that turns you into a freaky mindless zombie so i guess this could count as a state of being zombie but

1: You Need the New pack of the Sims 4
2: go to the Construction mode and put in the trait named "Moo"
3: Wait for your sim to get infected
4: You Can walk as a zombie
This Is the Last But You Will die Because of the moo

In the Sims 2? Once they become a zombie and they die, they will always get revived as a zombie no matter how much money you give to the grimreaper.
