I've been looking for a Japanese movie where a boy could transfer an injury from another person to himself by touching them. But man, I no longer had any idea what to type on Google to find it anymore. 😩 It isn't an anime btw.
Mirai no mirai is made with Japanese family/cultural values which are the exact opposite of American ones. The conclusion seems to support that Mirai adjusts his behavior to create familial harmony (like how the tree is the "index" representing their entire family's timeline). This is extremely Japanese, where everyone is taught to focus on the big picture and be always aware of how their individual voice should be united with the collective voice of the community. By comparison, an American version of Mirai would have had the family realize "they were in the wrong" and changed their behavior, thus emphasizing Mirai's autonomy as a human with his own feelings despite his young age. You can also see this in the way people respond to stories. I can't remember the exact study that was done, but psychologists showed the same images/video/story to Japanese and American high schoolers. The Japanese students pointed out the big picture elements but were unable to correctly remember the main actors of the scene. By comparison, the American students pointed out the main actors and story, but couldn't correctly remember the contextual details of the scene. Not saying there's a "right way." Just pointing out why some of the non-Japanese commenters are reacting in certain ways to this film and its message.
Saw this in the theater with my girlfriend and a couple friends at the recommendation of another friend who couldn't make it. I swear it was a setup! This film was 90 minutes of screaming children! My nerves were on edge by the end and I was so glad it was over.
Good Parenting is a tough job....it takes time and patience....parents are humans as well...sometimes little to no experience of how to deal with new-born babies or toddlers till they have a child of their own ...not understanding child psychology can be a common occurrence ...making mistakes will be a natural event as well....parenting is not like a smooth ride ...
watching this recap as the older sibling just makes me mad. parents should not have more than one children if they can't pay equal attention to all of them. the movie must have been created by either an only child or a youngest one.
I have the same feelings as you do. I became a big brother when I was twice Kun’s age, to a baby sister. An eight year is certainly more independent than a four year old and can handle similar situations much, much better without trauma.
@@Raidmasterprod Not only the lack of attention but the fact that my parents consider that my lil sibling could do no wrong and whenever something happens it's always my fault like the time my sibling deliberately set me up by crying for no reason and immediately smiling behind my parents back when they scolded me. In my point of view the adult boy don't have a good relation with his sister and mother cause they never tried to understand what he was going through and as the future sister said it's his fault fou being rude as that is what the parents and grandparents told miso it proves that they never tried to involve him in their life as before and no the bycycle and praise all that was after he visited past and future so the actual future that remained same where he was neglected and no one tried to understand why he is hyper or why he is throwing tantrums.

A little bit different from what she explains in this video.
This is what happened with me and my elder brother the only difference is we were not lucky enough to see what our future would hold and ended up abandoning each other and it's been almost 8 years since we haven''t talked to each other.. He's my only brother and it's because of his rude and humiliating behaviour that it all happened. I don't regret that we cut off each other. My only regret is that we are not that kinda kids our parents always wanted to have. They wanted us to be together no matter what but this is what meant to be happened as we cut loose from each other.. sometimes, it pretty hurts to be a part of family you no longer belong to..
I kinda relate to this film a lot. My brother used to be a lot jealous of me, my parents would give all the attention in the world to me. This made my brother angry, and he would often try to physically harm me. He was just 3 years older then me, and this went even after we both entered our teens. Watching this made me quite emotional.
I feel like this anime is about appreciating all the things like every time he is angry or throws stuff he is transported in the past n given lessons to appreciate everything!!💝
this is a great portrayal of a real issue that arises when a newborn sibling arrives. just as the young sibbling needs care and attention, so does the older one.
They were riding it on the grass so that when he fell off (which is inevitable when using a bike without training wheels for the first time) it wouldn't hurt as much.
You can but its not good to learn on. The ground is uneven and there can be holes or small pits in the dirt. My mom tried to teach me to ride without training wheels by pushing me down a grassy hill full of trees and roots..obviously I didnt learn that time. My cousins actually taught me how to ride...on an actual side walk as it should be.
As much an anime fan this movie was tbh emotional since I could relate but later on a long time ago I had a brother and I got jealous sue but then I started loving him from the start and knew he was my brother and we had the same blood.
