my dreams used to always consist of me brawling with mythical creatures and exotic monsters of my own creation and winning with only my fists but one day after pulling an all nighter i passed out midday face down ass up while folding laundry and was tormented for what felt like days being chased by a shadow monster that i could not fight for some reason, worst part was when it caught me i would wake up next to my laundry and go about my usual day until it showed up again. it ended with me hiding under the covers of my bed before the monster peeled them back aggressively and put its face inches from mine. the layer of black mist concealing its face receded and revealed a hideous mass of bruised decayed and mottled flesh. this scared the shit out of me so bad i woke up immediately. i will never forget that dream.
Half awake I once punched a water bottle that turned into a screaming chicken toy. Another one I was parkouring around my middle and highschool when an active shooter situation was occuring. Conclusion. I need more rest
I’m so happy you played Deep Sleep!! Your art for the opening set the tone perfectly I loved it. I once had a lucid dream that lasted for a really long time, except instead of having to traverse creepy locations, I traversed a mall, ate a chocolate cake, and the sisters from Johnny Test eventually used their machine to let me escape from the dream, which did actually wake me up. Thank you, Susan and Mary.
I’ve been able to lucid dream fairly consistently for years, and have only dealt with sleep paralysis once that I can think of, the real issue I’ve had with it is that I don’t wake up feeling as refreshed as when I don’t dream at all. To be able to lucid dream you first need to become aware that you’re dreaming. I don’t remember doing anything specific to reach this awareness, but I do remember waking up a lot to go the bathroom beforehand, so maybe drink a lot of water before bed and start to recognize the “background noise” of the dream when you get enough awareness in your sleep to wake up to piss. Just don’t use any toilets you see in a dream.
I was able to achieve lucidity once. I was in my bathroom, and did a reality check with the clock. Got really excited when I knew I was dreaming. Looked at myself in the mirror and tried to give myself wings. Nothing happened. I got really disappointed and thought this was actually real life since I couldn't control the dream. When I woke up I decided that since being lucid didn't give me the power to do cool shit then it wasn't worth trying again.
ive had a couple of moments of reality checks with my steam money account, i have exactly $5.71 but i forget it and my dream just makes it rapidly change between adding extras 0's, turn around, reverse, changing country currency, etc. but i dont really wanna lucid dream though so i just think it's a cool visual effect n move on
I think the way I got the ability to make every single dream I have become a lucid dream, is that I became afraid of thinking that my dream was real I once got a dream that felt too real, where my girlfriend broke up with me. It lead to a funny and silly conversation, because I think I said very casually "we are no longer dating" so in her eyes I broke up with her. She later told me she never broke up with me, I did it. This made me realize how dangerous it can be to spend a whole day of your life in a dream and then think that it's real. I was afraid of it. I don't even love her today, this was middle school, but I still get lucid dreams. I didn't do anything to get lucid dreams. I believe I learned to do this through fear, rather than practice or technique. I am just probably subconsciously hyperaware of my reality. It's hard for me to not lucid dream Dreams are like watching a movie now. It's all about the story, and if I don't like it I just wake up the second I decide it.
The deep sleep trilogy, along with the Don’t escape quartet, have such an interesting story going on. It’s not immediately noticeable, but when you notice it all coming together it’s so cool
i love the idea that in the deepest sleep, you're the shadow person who chased down the protagonist from the first game. it also explains the note to "yourself," you weren't supposed to find that, the first game's protagonist was
NO WAYYYY i remember playing this game way back in like, middle/high school on kongregate! i bought it on steam when i saw it -- can't WAIT to get all nostalgic about this
man i remember these games, they gave me nightmares about being chased by shadows for years, so when i stumbled upon Don't Escape 4 days to survive years later on Humble it basically gave me PTSD seeing a shadow person in that game
ive only had about two lucid dreams i could remember, and one of them was actually pretty funny, the first i remember was me being in an empty school bus being driven by a bus driver i couldn't see, i realized i was dreaming because the bus was empty witch was a contrast to me normally getting off the bus early, i only remember testing one thing and that was "can i look down at my feet?" and when i attempted to i realized i couldn't physically look down. the other lucid dream started as a nightmare i had a few days after graduating highschool (witch i have a lot of bad memories of) i was sat at a desk on a time limit with an enigmatic test i couldn't understand and complete, and i was crying cause i didn't want to fail it, at one point i lifted my head and remembered "wait, didn't i graduate two days ago?" then i instantly woke up, confused as hell what just happened
Once I had a dream where I was literally like "wait, I think I'm dreaming," then brushed it off and went on with my dream business. I had that dream twice too, so my brain must've thought it was good. Also I was having a nightmare that was videogame themed. It started as a zombie invasion in Terraria as far as I can remember (for context, Terraria is very similar to Minecraft, at least in Survival Mode). Then the characters in the house started arguing with each other, which was weird because Terraria diesn't have talking like that, just basic auto-generated lines if you interact w/ them. My breaking point was when it said "Chapter 2" on the screen, and I was playing a werewolf in first person, which was breaking so many established conventions that I realized it couldn't be real, so I sent myself to a lavish dinner party to get away from it all. I'm not good at parties though, so I woke up.

As I child I had very intense and repeating nightmares which caused insomnia. Through therapy I learned how to induce lucid dreams to stop those nightmares, which did work. However, this lead me to develop sleep paralysis and some forms of derealization and depersonalization. Other than that, I still have very life like dreams that are often repeating or work like movie sequels with me in main role. My point is, don't try to lucid dream. It's really not worth it unless it's used to help you mitigate or solve a problem. This game is a very interesting take on this topic!
I remember this dream i had once, i was walking down my hallway like a normal day but my mums bedroom door was slightly open, it was extremely dark near her door. in fact the whole house was darker than usual, I heard this loud sound of gushing wind and it slowly increased in volume, so i head to my garage and then i suddenly get this rushing feeling like i need to escape, suddenly there's this bright light coming from the garage door which to me felt like the roller door was open, so with the adrenaline feeling of i need to get out right now completely overwhelms me and i find myself in full sprint towards the door, but it took forever. i made it in the end but i have never forgotten that ever since (its been like 7 years)
I am beyond excited to watch this! I could never finish these games as a kid cuz they scared me so bad lolol. You're one of my fave creators, you cover all of my old faves! 💛🙌🏻
God these games used to terrify me as a kid, something about the existential nightmare of being trapped forever alongside the horrifying silhouettes hunting you down was just traumatising. And of course, the classic horror staple of “That could happen to ME,” which is only made worse by the third game’s reveal
i've never managed to properly lucid dream, gaining both control and awareness of my subconscious, but in the past two years i've made a habit of writing down my dreams and it's often times resulted in me becoming sort of self-aware in my dreams while still being out of control. there are times where i feel myself acknowledging aspects of the dream outside of the dream itself, such as mentally commenting on if the situation's realistic enough or not, and other times where i know i am asleep and yet can't do anything about it beyond following along with the dream. there are countless times where in my dream i write down the contents of my dream, as if i'm done with it and rethinking everything once it's over, but i'm not. the deep sleep trilogy feels so incredibly interesting to me because of that, and. well. honestly, it gives me an additional fear of my own dreams. because i can't ever force myself awake, and yet i still feel the distress and length of my dreams, and sometimes i'll go weeks without dreaming but other times i spend weeks having long and detailed dreams. it always has an aspect of being overwhelming, too, because it's just... dark. i don't picture and visualize things clearly (by far i am more of a thinking-by-words person) and this shows in my dreams - while i know i am in certain places and certain settings and go through with it there's always a feeling of claustrophobia with the inability to see things as brightly as possible in reality. i have never had the fear that i am dreaming while i am properly awake, because if i was dreaming it would be so much darker. anyway! this trilogy's story seems extremely interesting, and the gameplay intrigues me too. i may have to check this out myself sometime soon :D
NO WAY I MISSED THE NOTIFICATION TELLING ME U POSTED AGAIN reaallly cool video as usual!!! dream stuff always makes me nervous, i used to dream i was trapped in a small room and every time i would dream of that room again, it got smaller and smaller until it collasped on itself and woke me up always a bit scared of small rooms now
The Deep Sleep trilogy were some of my favorite flash games of all time, I hope deep sleep gets a 4th game like dont escape got with a greatly expanded story and gameplay
holy shit, nostalgia! i remember going to one of my moms friends house and watching her son my age play these, i just hung around and reacted while he did the puzzles, did not like that chase scene at all. i left and never went back as often, so the game just faded from memory, glad to see it again

Is Ben finally exploring more Scriptwelder games?! This is going to be amazing! The latest entry in the Deep Sleep series is dropping soon! You should look at Chapter 4 of Don’t Escape as well.
Watchin g this brought back memories. I've never played this game before but me and my siblings used to play flash games way back in the day and some were escape games. The graphics and point-and-click mechanic is this game reminded me of those times. Anyways, the game looks pretty creepy and I'd have been scared to play it had it been something we found back then. It's awesome you have your art in your video, especially in the ad part cause that was creative.
Okay, now that you’ve covered both the Don’t Escape trilogy and this one, you HAVE to make a video on Don’t Escape 4. Easily Scriptwelder’s magnum opus, and ties directly into the Deep Sleep games.
Hay Ben amazing video like always and since you finish the deep sleep trilogy you can play don’t escape 4, I would highly recommend you playing because the characters, puzzles, and especially the ending was fantastic and I do believe that you will love the game. Anyways hopefully you are having a great day and hopefully see you next time
I'm a lucid dream person since as a kid. I can remember my dreams vividly and now I can feel stuff in my dreams but sadly obtained the ability to feel pain. Agonizing pain. Like if someone steps on my arm, that same pain will be felt in reality when I wake up feeling sore. Or a stab and that pain will be felt as well. I can wake myself up when I can but I try not to and just finish the dream. Yeah I'm scared of my dreaming state but eh I'm used to it already
I realise I'm lucid dreaming only when my dreams become 'dangerous' (death, severely injured etc). Which at that point, I tell myself to wakeup, but it doesn't work sometimes. I'd just find myself in another dream in a different setting.
I really enjoy reliving my old RPG/flash playing days through your videos. Did you ever play The Dead Case? I remember that one blowing my mind in like 2008.
I always loved the attention to detail these games had. I was also pleasantly able to learn the developer is working on a fourth entry in the franchise that will have a larger scope. Please give the demo a try sometime, I'd highly recommend it. I'd like to point out a small nitpick, since it's often one I see about Lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is just being aware you are dreaming, volitional control is not inherent to lucid dreaming. The reason many come to the conclusion is because you are more likely to exert control with greater awareness. Many often get frustrated or give up when they can't figure out how to reshape the dream to their own desires, as in reality it is a skill that takes time to develop.. So to me these games have a much more accurate portrayal of it than most media.
oh hell yeah we love this game series. scared the heck out of us when we were younger, made us afraid of lucid dreaming for a while lol... the concept is still a little too close for comfort to sleep paralysis, for us
Whenever I lucid dream it’s usual when I know I’m asleep and about to wake up it’s never anything weird I can control everything and it’s just funny goofy stuff or something mundane where I’m just at a park playing with my dog
I played this before watching this video, there's some details I noticed - I don't think in the third game you are playing as someone else. You have the memories of the player in the second game. Is it possible the person in 2nd game and 1st game are different people? - Even if you go for the "good" ending, the darkness will inevitably make you go mad like the hiding traveler said. You are simply delaying the inevitable, and it has far worse consequences. Most people will capture the first traveler they see by instincts alone, and maintain their sanity, the newspapers articles in the first game say "woman's wife possessed" "child posessed". But you decided to stay and lose your sanity, just like Felicity which is the girl in the attic (3rd floor elevator). Except unlike her, you are a shadow person, and you have a way to escape: There's a newspaper that says "A man kills his family after waking up from a coma" and I think someone that didn't lose his sanity is far less likely to kill their whole family. - I can't make sense of Bert or the notes the player wrote to themselves. There are three ways to wake up in this dream world 1 - Turn into a shadow, and take the body of another human by capturing them in the dream world (third game) 2 - Killing a shadow person (first game) 3 - Cody was able to wake up after you brought his tiger plushie to his bed (secret ending to second game). It's possible that having an item from the real world that you hold very close and dear will force you to wake up. But there's this question, why are you bringing the plushie to his bed instead of Cody? He could be dead, maybe turned into a shadow, or in some other way shape or form doesn't exist physically in this dream world anymore I wrote this before watching the video, and I am surprised Ben caught on to an anchor to the real world being a possible way to wake up from this world. He also said it better than me. (I posted after watching the video)
Love these types of games, if you ever get the chance you should play the Rusty Lake and Cube Escape games. It was an incredibly influential and emotional franchise for me with a dimensional story involving many different cultures and religious beliefs throughout(plus the mystery is just cool as hell)
The concept of being trapped in a dream with some kind of dark world in it kinda reminds me about "Bad Dream" game series. Mostly "Bad Dream Coma", I'd say
I was really confused by the end because I thought there was a 4th game. Turns put I was thinking if the "Bad Dreams" games. A shockingly fitting mistake, really XD

my dreams used to always consist of me brawling with mythical creatures and exotic monsters of my own creation and winning with only my fists but one day after pulling an all nighter i passed out midday face down ass up while folding laundry and was tormented for what felt like days being chased by a shadow monster that i could not fight for some reason, worst part was when it caught me i would wake up next to my laundry and go about my usual day until it showed up again. it ended with me hiding under the covers of my bed before the monster peeled them back aggressively and put its face inches from mine. the layer of black mist concealing its face receded and revealed a hideous mass of bruised decayed and mottled flesh. this scared the shit out of me so bad i woke up immediately. i will never forget that dream.
Half awake I once punched a water bottle that turned into a screaming chicken toy.
Another one I was parkouring around my middle and highschool when an active shooter situation was occuring.
Conclusion. I need more rest
That's strange
I’m so happy you played Deep Sleep!! Your art for the opening set the tone perfectly I loved it.
Make sure to play Don’t Escape: 4 Days to Survive and in the future you get around to Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken when it comes out. These games literally have a death grip on me and I’m so happy to see you play them!!
If you don't avoid toilets the squid monster will get you. /j
When I woke up I decided that since being lucid didn't give me the power to do cool shit then it wasn't worth trying again.
ive had a couple of moments of reality checks with my steam money account, i have exactly $5.71 but i forget it and my dream just makes it rapidly change between adding extras 0's, turn around, reverse, changing country currency, etc. but i dont really wanna lucid dream though so i just think it's a cool visual effect n move on
I think the way I got the ability to make every single dream I have become a lucid dream, is that I became afraid of thinking that my dream was real
I once got a dream that felt too real, where my girlfriend broke up with me.
It's hard for me to not lucid dream
Dreams are like watching a movie now. It's all about the story, and if I don't like it I just wake up the second I decide it.
Btw the "cody lost hes toy tiger" is a refrence from a character from dont escape 4
The deep sleep trilogy, along with the Don’t escape quartet, have such an interesting story going on. It’s not immediately noticeable, but when you notice it all coming together it’s so cool
i love the idea that in the deepest sleep, you're the shadow person who chased down the protagonist from the first game. it also explains the note to "yourself," you weren't supposed to find that, the first game's protagonist was
You are definetely the protagonist of the second game
NO WAYYYY i remember playing this game way back in like, middle/high school on kongregate! i bought it on steam when i saw it -- can't WAIT to get all nostalgic about this
man i remember these games, they gave me nightmares about being chased by shadows for years, so when i stumbled upon Don't Escape 4 days to survive years later on Humble it basically gave me PTSD seeing a shadow person in that game
As soon as I saw the noise effect and the artstyle in the gameplay, I knew it was made by the same creator as the Don't Escape games
Don’t Escape 4 even has references to this trilogy as they take place within the same universe (technically multiverse.)
You play exactly the niche of games i use to when i was younger and it brings me joy
ive only had about two lucid dreams i could remember, and one of them was actually pretty funny, the first i remember was me being in an empty school bus being driven by a bus driver i couldn't see, i realized i was dreaming because the bus was empty witch was a contrast to me normally getting off the bus early, i only remember testing one thing and that was "can i look down at my feet?" and when i attempted to i realized i couldn't physically look down.
the other lucid dream started as a nightmare i had a few days after graduating highschool (witch i have a lot of bad memories of) i was sat at a desk on a time limit with an enigmatic test i couldn't understand and complete, and i was crying cause i didn't want to fail it, at one point i lifted my head and remembered "wait, didn't i graduate two days ago?" then i instantly woke up, confused as hell what just happened
Great video looking forward to you covering the the fourth don't escape game it contains references and lore expansions relating to both collections there is even an actual website that acts like it belongs in the game and to properly access it and the heeps of lore it has you need to use clues from the game
3:28 funny to hear this right after saying most games have backwards ass puzzles that don't make sense, if you want to touch something hot don't wet the cloth. Water conducts heat better than cloth, which is why oven gloves shouldn't be used when they are still wet
aye those drawn scenes!! i was trying to have this video as background noise but i kept coming back to check on it and i eventually just watched it ToT, keep on the good work!
4:40 ok i had played dont escape 4 without playing deep sleep, so when i heard that, i legit jumped in my chair a little
Don Quixote?!
Man your voice puts me in a deep sleep, seriously your videos are awesome to relax to go to sleep
Not saying they're boring legit compliment you got a nice voice
Man that intro animation is fire you really are an interesting content creator you came out of virtually nowhere and it’s just been amazing video after amazing video and I love it
As I child I had very intense and repeating nightmares which caused insomnia.
I remember this dream i had once, i was walking down my hallway like a normal day but my mums bedroom door was slightly open, it was extremely dark near her door. in fact the whole house was darker than usual, I heard this loud sound of gushing wind and it slowly increased in volume, so i head to my garage and then i suddenly get this rushing feeling like i need to escape, suddenly there's this bright light coming from the garage door which to me felt like the roller door was open, so with the adrenaline feeling of i need to get out right now completely overwhelms me and i find myself in full sprint towards the door, but it took forever. i made it in the end but i have never forgotten that ever since (its been like 7 years)
Love the old point and click game reviews, reminds me of the times I spent in middle school fumbling around in the submachine point and click series.
YESSSSS DEEP SLEEP VIDEO BY BEN AGAIN MY SATURDAY IS SAVED
I am beyond excited to watch this! I could never finish these games as a kid cuz they scared me so bad lolol. You're one of my fave creators, you cover all of my old faves! 💛🙌🏻
God these games used to terrify me as a kid, something about the existential nightmare of being trapped forever alongside the horrifying silhouettes hunting you down was just traumatising. And of course, the classic horror staple of “That could happen to ME,” which is only made worse by the third game’s reveal
My Theory(SPOILERS FOR THE THE DEEPEST SLEEP)
is that we are bert but we got body snatched by a shadow person
Actually, we are NOT Bert, Scriptwelder said it in his message in Discord
Broooo, I haven't heard of deep sleep since Markiplier's playthrough, this brings back so many good memories man
Ben again video right as im getting cozy after work LETS GOOO
i've never managed to properly lucid dream, gaining both control and awareness of my subconscious, but in the past two years i've made a habit of writing down my dreams and it's often times resulted in me becoming sort of self-aware in my dreams while still being out of control. there are times where i feel myself acknowledging aspects of the dream outside of the dream itself, such as mentally commenting on if the situation's realistic enough or not, and other times where i know i am asleep and yet can't do anything about it beyond following along with the dream. there are countless times where in my dream i write down the contents of my dream, as if i'm done with it and rethinking everything once it's over, but i'm not. the deep sleep trilogy feels so incredibly interesting to me because of that, and. well. honestly, it gives me an additional fear of my own dreams. because i can't ever force myself awake, and yet i still feel the distress and length of my dreams, and sometimes i'll go weeks without dreaming but other times i spend weeks having long and detailed dreams. it always has an aspect of being overwhelming, too, because it's just... dark. i don't picture and visualize things clearly (by far i am more of a thinking-by-words person) and this shows in my dreams - while i know i am in certain places and certain settings and go through with it there's always a feeling of claustrophobia with the inability to see things as brightly as possible in reality. i have never had the fear that i am dreaming while i am properly awake, because if i was dreaming it would be so much darker. anyway! this trilogy's story seems extremely interesting, and the gameplay intrigues me too. i may have to check this out myself sometime soon :D
NO WAY I MISSED THE NOTIFICATION TELLING ME U POSTED AGAIN reaallly cool video as usual!!! dream stuff always makes me nervous, i used to dream i was trapped in a small room and every time i would dream of that room again, it got smaller and smaller until it collasped on itself and woke me up
always a bit scared of small rooms now
The lore get deeper and connecting 2 series together in Don't Escape 4 Days to Survive.
Yesssss, cant wait to see this come full circle with Dont Escape 4 ^.^
I'd highly recommend Return of the Obra Dinn if you've never played it. It's probably one of the most memorable mystery games I've played.
I hope this means you’re also getting around to Don’t Escape 4! Its a great culmination of all the scriptwelder games and is super fun to play!
The Deep Sleep trilogy were some of my favorite flash games of all time, I hope deep sleep gets a 4th game like dont escape got with a greatly expanded story and gameplay
There is actually another deep sleep game in development right now. "Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken"
holy shit, nostalgia! i remember going to one of my moms friends house and watching her son my age play these, i just hung around and reacted while he did the puzzles, did not like that chase scene at all. i left and never went back as often, so the game just faded from memory, glad to see it again
The animation at the beggining was sick! Hope to see more cool shi from you this year.
Lucid dream is my favourite topic and Scriptweider happens to make these series in a very interesting way. Glad to see you play and analyse this game.
I always enjoy when you post, it's cool to see some niche games that I haven't heard about before and to see you give your genuine thoughts and opinions both on what they did well and what they could've improved upon.
Thank you for playing this game, I had forgotten about it and you brought it back for me, it was sweet to remember ^^ ah, I feel so old writing this haha but that's how I felt
Another amazing pick! You are playing all my childhood games and i could not be happier
I was waiting for you to finally play this trilogy, I'm glad you did! Next scriptwelder game is Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive. There's also going to be a 4th release of Deep Sleep as well! Who knows when that'll release though, but I have patience.
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !!!!!!
i loved the don't escape video when it dropped, and i got so into watching theory and explination videos afterward. i think i also tried looking into deep sleep, but watching you talk about it so much better, yippee !!
Is Ben finally exploring more Scriptwelder games?! This is going to be amazing! The latest entry in the Deep Sleep series is dropping soon! You should look at Chapter 4 of Don’t Escape as well.
Man I haven't thought of Scriptwelder in awhile, gotta get into DE4 again
LETSGO BEN BACK AGAIN WITH A DEEP SLEEP SERIES VID!!
I cannot wait for when fear and hunger becomes a retro rpg maker horror game, so I can watch your review 10 years from now!
Bro your feding us With thos upload time
Well I just appreciate that your sponsorships are clean
it's been a while since I've heard about these games wow. this video is bringing back some memories. epic thumbnail btw
YAAAY NEW BEN AGAIN VIDEO YAYAYA
Great video. I think the next video should be on hotel dusk's sequel, last window.
the intro art is amazing! very nice even! keep doin well!
Man, can't wait for what comes next.
Anyways hopefully you are having a great day and hopefully see you next time
Yay you’re doing Scriptwelder’s other great point and click trilogy! I hope that means you’re gonna do Don’t Escape 4 eventually.
I’ve been waiting for this!
I realise I'm lucid dreaming only when my dreams become 'dangerous' (death, severely injured etc). Which at that point, I tell myself to wakeup, but it doesn't work sometimes. I'd just find myself in another dream in a different setting.
A fun fact is that Cody is an actual character in Don't escape 4, and the shadow people return in that game as well.
cant wait until someone eventually makes a video on the extremely obscure title "mercury abbey"
And with this, you have all the information you need for Don't Escape 4. Since it is a concluision to both Deep Sleep and Don't Escape series.
Ben Again upload: This is a good day
Love seeing more of these types of games!
I really enjoy reliving my old RPG/flash playing days through your videos. Did you ever play The Dead Case? I remember that one blowing my mind in like 2008.
I knew you'd enjoy this series 😁Like I said in the Don't Escape video Scriptwelder is a goldmine
That screwdriver drop is so cruel I love it
I always loved the attention to detail these games had.
Great vid man
I played this before watching this video, there's some details I noticed
- I don't think in the third game you are playing as someone else.
There are three ways to wake up in this dream world
1 - Turn into a shadow, and take the body of another human by capturing them in the dream world (third game)
2 - Killing a shadow person (first game)
3 - Cody was able to wake up after you brought his tiger plushie to his bed (secret ending to second game). It's possible that having an item from the real world that you hold very close and dear will force you to wake up. But there's this question, why are you bringing the plushie to his bed instead of Cody? He could be dead, maybe turned into a shadow, or in some other way shape or form doesn't exist physically in this dream world anymore
I wrote this before watching the video, and I am surprised Ben caught on to an anchor to the real world being a possible way to wake up from this world. He also said it better than me. (I posted after watching the video)
Man its been years but the ending where you either steal someones body or get stuck forever. That was crazy
I love you ben, you the goat
Love these types of games, if you ever get the chance you should play the Rusty Lake and Cube Escape games. It was an incredibly influential and emotional franchise for me with a dimensional story involving many different cultures and religious beliefs throughout(plus the mystery is just cool as hell)
Okay NOW are you gonna do Don’t Escape 4? I have been waiting for EVER OH MY GOD AHHHHHH
Love the video!
Every time I lucid dream, my dream tries to convince me it's real life.
Another wonderful game review! I hope this means you're doing don't escape 4 soon, because i think the two series were related?
Script Welder games always have a special place in my heart.
The concept of being trapped in a dream with some kind of dark world in it kinda reminds me about "Bad Dream" game series. Mostly "Bad Dream Coma", I'd say
The thumbnail looks like someone pressing a cat's paws to activate the cat's Lazer eyes, imo
16:32 why did I immediately think of the don't escape 4 child?
bro as a little kid that plot twist was so fucking cool.
I was really confused by the end because I thought there was a 4th game. Turns put I was thinking if the "Bad Dreams" games. A shockingly fitting mistake, really XD
