Got to admit, I’m a proper fan boy of Eddie, even though I’m nearly 10yrs older than him. Love what he’s done with boxing, great promoter, talks a lot of sense, especially getting kids into boxing clubs and trying to involve politicians, keep it up Edward 👏
have always gone with the idea that if i can't be bothered going to the gym, run or whatever I just tell myself I will go and do 15 minutes or even just 10 minutes and if i still really can't be bothered I will just leave. once you have done that 10 minutes you feel much more motivated and do a full session, even if you don't then you have still done 15 minutes and importantly they have kept your routine because if you keep putting it off and the gym is hap hazard then it is much easier to talk yourself out of going. just go that is the main thing just go, at least you will see some nice looking girls if nothing else
What a really inspiring and insightful interview. I am 57 years old in a few weeks. I have never been a good runner and focus mainly on swimming at the gym. I am 6ft 1 tall and my weight ballooned to 17st 7lb after lockdown. I did a bodypump class at the gym in May 2023 and it blew me away how good weight training was/is. I focused on clean eating and resistance training with weights and machines. Fast forward 6 months and I had lost 5 stonne by October 2023. I have stayed on the program (no personal trainer, just learning from these types of videos) and I decided to moderate my alcohol consumption. Its now January 2024 and my weight is 11st 7lb. I have muscle definition and abs (six pack) and the best core strength of my entire life. It's never too late. The results motivate me to stay healthy and fit into later life. I went from 38 inch waist to 30 inches and size XL to XS.
Jus turned 40 myself at xmas and whilst ive always being active playing football , cycling , running etc ive never realised just how far i can push myself , in my case my downfall has always been binge drinking / charlie , i would train well during the week then hit the sauce and undo all the graft id put in followed by days of eating junk , depression, anxiety etc yet i continued for prob goin on 20 years , on the months leading up to my 40th i knew i needed to make a decision and that was to give up the sauce and other poison that has held my traiining and every other aspect of my life back , its early days but in space of a month my mood , focus , family life etc has improved ten fold , aiming to complete a half marathon in a few months and have other goals wen i chalk that off , fitness really is key to a happy content life , onwards and upwards feeling fresh
Eddie has it all. Family, millions, popular, successful and more but he beams most now about been in shape. I’m 44 in great shape and I’m super proud too 😁
I myself am 44 years old, 17 stone and 6'5" and going through the same period in my life where I want to be healthy for me and me kids. I'm in to the gym the last year so main goal going into 24 is nutrition. This is where I really struggle. Where can I find the meal plans etc. Well done eddy
Not sure but do your own plan. Write it down. Maybe eat from 2 pm onwards, I started this. Have a good meal eve before, pasta, chicken whatever. A local lad overweight started walking daily, lost a few stones now he wears weighted vest. Habit is key, day in and day out. Aim for 15mins and if exceeds this then good. Non negotiables! These are daily i.e. walking, weights, 15min read a novel, or sit with mobile off and TV for 15mins. Things for you to must keep and non negotiables to you.
Inspiring stuff, it really is. Definitely another kick up the jacksie I needed regarding diet. I am in pretty good shape. But, not good enough. This was the little bit of a push I needed!

Similar age to eddie, i aim for 15mins in whatever i.e. cleaning, read a novel, weights, walk, sit in silence. Trying anyway. Bought a wall clock for lounge, look at it and gave myself 15mins. Soon realise there is time a plenty.
I'm 36, probably 4-5 stone over weight at 5'6" - high blood pressure and cholesterol, hurt everywhere, struggle with my knees/ankles because of the weight, gut issues, always tired and very poor restrictive diet, really struggle with the motivation and it obviously impacts my mental health too, I leave the house less and less due to working from home. I hope I can find the motivation before it's too late, family history shows me the odds are stacked against me so I really need to do something :( If anyone knows any good groups to join please comment, I need help
Hey your situation feels similar to mine. I was 180 pounds and 5 foot 8 or 9. Felt sluggish, saw a picture of myself and couldn’t believe how fat I looked. Best thing to do is make a video of yourself talking about how it is all changing. Then go outside and run 2.5 miles. You will likely only last a few minutes before you vomit. After you vomit either jog or walk the rest of the time. Slowly keep running and you will develop a runners high. I can now run 6 kilometres. 3.7 miles in under 30 minutes. I am 150 pounds lean full of muscle. Just focus on day one and have discipline when it comes to your nutrition.
I work on a building site and have 3 kids... no time for the gym... I make work site the gym and at 38 i feel fit as a fiddle talking bollocks to Brandon's on UA-cam mortal drunk 👍
Yes you don't realise because he's in the public eye nearly on a daily basis, but looking at him in his early days of him getting into boxing he was carrying a bit of timber
Cannabis helped me beat alcoholism depression and become a much happier person going from almost certain death at nearly 19st to now a healthy 12st and very happy is this a story?
Aged 73 I have been running swimming cycling walking regularly weekly for over 50 years and now have an heart condition. Stuff happens but I am convinced that without doing all of that I wouldn't have a heart condition as I would no longer be here. Well done Eddie just keep on doing what your doing. Just wish I could afford dental implants 😂😂
Worthy because of the number of people who he can reach. Loads of people will start a journey to mens health who otherwise wouldn't. Which is the point of the magazine.
Enjoyed the podcast just wish both would say for me less must have said it every sentence when Ur talking we know it's about yourself it's OK don't need to add for Me 75 times

Yeah the girls just motivate me if it’s a good, busy gym. If I said I’m going for 10 minutes I wouldn’t bother.
Same. Think 15 mins and see from there. This includes cleaning, reading, walking, job hunting whatever.

Great timing for new year this 😂 Eddies a genius, appreciate him while he’s here
An hour of Eddie Hearn preaching and telling everyone how great he is and how great he feels essentially.

It’s called an interview. If it makes you feel insecure, put the beer down…get in the gym and eat better.

Enjoyed this chat. Kudos Eddie.
I changed my health at the age of 44 and without any gym and just changing my nutrition I am in the best shapes of my life at 46
Not that I go to the gym but at 36 I'm getting fatter every year so few months ago I decided to become a postman because I needed the change
Fantastic video. Started my regime a few days ago and already feeling great
This is great! Whos interviewing Eddie?
If you watching this you have to watch the Stephen hendrys podcast with Barry Hearn absolute legend amazing viewing

Even more important than nutrition and exercise is getting a full MOT at the doctors every few years. PSA, cholesterol, bloods, blood pressure etc.
