Cool, another late night repair video from Sean;). Great job on tinning, Sean. I'm not sure, if you have tried this before, but have you considered some solder mask on top of it (of course for extra $, if customer wants it)? They even have a green solder mask that you can get. It will not be an exact match, but close enough. Some of them come with a small applicator brush, but you could use some small grain sponge (they have some for painters on a stick) or even one of these triangular makeup applicators for women. It would help with a smooth and faster application, especially on these big grounding areas around the edge. All you would have to do after is to cure it with some UV light or sunlight when it gets warmer. Well, it's not a must, but definitely a peace of mind and I'm sure many customers would be willing to pay extra for it. You would be then an all around fix it guy;).
This was one of my favorite arcade games as a kid. Awesome repair -- looking forward to the rest of this series.
Your attention to detail and refurb work is unmatched IMO. I would (probably should) send my boards to you.
thank you :)
Good to see you’re using the animated intro as well as the MC outro again! 😁👍🏻
Always a clean repair. Would have liked to see the tining process.
Agreed! As with a lot of the other work too.
Agreed. How’d you do the tinning?
Good to see another video, excited to see the widgets.

Love these restorations. Keep em coming, I could watch them all day! Really tidy job, how did you make such a clean job of re-tinning those traces. 🤔👍
