I mean, theres a big difference between the 2. Ideally, the tank would be balanced. Just look at the 114 SP2 or the Centauro or the TS-60. Those tanks aren't the best, but they can still be fun to play. This tank is just straight garbage
@@Petty360 My experience has been totally the opposite than the rest. Partly because i kinda expected it to not withstand any HEAT round with over 275mm of penn at all. And, because is a fast accurate vehicle, wouldn't mean it was a snapshooting machine. I kinda accept is not one of the best, but is not THAT bad itself, specially considering it plays a simillar game that the recently and undeserved nerfed Minotauro does, but better in terms of being FAR more versatile.

I was thinking of playing some of the newly-buffed tanks in my garage but I think I’ll hold off until these ridiculous bugs are fixed. 2024 may be my last year with this game after nearly 10 years of playing and this trash season certainly isn’t helping.
This things gun isnt even as good as the Leopard's. Worse alpha, worse reload, worse pen, and waaay worse gun handling. Hell, its DPM isnt even as good as the panserjager, a tier 8 premium that you get for "free" *IN THIS SEASON* They should buff the alpha to 480 like the Badger and buff the accuracy to 0.33 as well as the dispersion. It still wouldn't be great, but at least it would be viable in the average player's hands. They could even buff the alpha to 500 and it would still have worse DPM than the Badger Its one thing to release a mediocre tank thats still fun to play (like the centauro, ts-60, or t114-bat) but this thing is just plain bad. Whats the point of a TD with a garbage gun?
@@Petty360 Yeah, I just feel like if the gun performed better, and I mean a lot better, you could actually use this thing's mobility and stealth to an advantage and snipe like a real TD. I feel like buffing the armor would just make it a hard counter to unlucky tier 8s Plus, if you actually had some distance between you and your enemies, their pen might be noticeably worse so your armor would work better and your weak spot (the turret roof) would be way harder to hit. As it is right now, you pretty much have to be right in their face where they can't possibly miss, have the best pen, and can easily maneuver around you since your turret traverse is so limited and your track traverse is so slow
@@Petty360 TBF WG knows it's crap. Low Alpha, bad reload, bad pen, bad armor, ECT. You can look at statistics of other tanks and know it's underwhelming and needs work. The Taran is $50, you're paying to win.

That's exactly what I say about the armor on the thing. And to be real, depending on the game, how many shots are ACTUALLY gonna hit. It has good mobility, but the dpm could be slightly better for a tier X. Now I'm not talking shitbarn equivalent, but like 600-800 dmg. If it had more armor, I could see it having potential.

I was trying to pen it with my Taran that has a std pen of over 300. That frontal armour is less than 300. I kept bouncing my shots. RNG for you there.
Id say it's probably not worth it but who cares because console is basically on a sinking ship. They've ruined WW2 with all of the flying premium rounds so what's the point of armor and cold war is a freaking mess. Era 1 is not great era 2 is basically a slightly less evolved version of era 3 where the only thing that's going around is auto cannons with missiles. Hell the m1 Abrams is not even worth getting because everyone just goes through it like butter.
@@prizrak-br3332 Because many players don't know where to shoot it. Any 120mm gun can overmatch the armor from the front. I think the Leopard 2A5 is the best armored Tech Tree tank in the game.
The simple fact it's a WW2 tank makes it worthless for me, I still bought it because I may be able to trade it for something else in a future trade event and the 25 tier skips. Wish the Osório was the one you get for 6k and this was the lvl100 reward.

I really think you missed the boat here. This is a Cannonen Panzer. Would you brawl with any of the 3 other ones at tier 8? The extra armour is a bonus, but it was never meant to be a brawler. Shoot and scoot same as the Striker and all the others. It has the same movement and you get a semi turret and some armour as your your benefits for it being tier 10, but having both of those means the gun is made slightly worse and it has slightly less alpha. This is a great tank, why you trusted flat, barely angled plates that are below the 255 minimum strength to resist even standard tier 10 ammo as full armour is beyond me. It’s a Cannonen Panzer!
But the gun, handling of it and DPM isn't good like the other tier 8s either. It's literal only strength is mobility. Camo is ok for a TD but not exceptional (like the others you mentioned too)
There’s no denying this may be one of the worst premium season pass tanks other than the t114 batallion But I still don’t hate playing it. The alpha is painful tho lol
@@csorbalaszlo1920 heat standard sucks at tier x even with good pen. Armor sucks but I mean it’s kinda a given. It’s truly the velocity. This tank shouldn’t be up close and can’t really be used as a hit and run tank with heat rounds cuz they bounce a lot of sides on tier xs with spaced armor. It can’t snipe cuz of the awful velocity so it’s kind of a catch 22 where ur safest sniping but can’t because of the absolute horrid velocity, u kinda have to be medium to close range and corner peek distracted enemies or go for injured ones
@@auzie88 far enough I only really having problems with the standard HEAT but the tank has a pretty good camo with my setup is 250m so i can work with that but i wouldn't minde a bit higher penetration considering the low muzzle velocity maybe 330mm an the standard HEAT The crazy part is that the AVRE gun has better muzzle velocity

I've had it a couple times. When you're at 90% trying to 3 mark a tank it really hurts to do 0 damage

If it had Armour it could stand punishment, it'd be that bounce things while dishing out slowerpaced damage.

I had sthe same experience but with the UDES 15/16
It bounced my standard ammo then i loaded HEATFS wiht 310 and it bounced on the same spot
