Thanks for the video! Have been looking at this jacket for awhile. Wondering about sleeve length. I’ve found that on cycling puffers, the sleeves aren’t often long enough and will ride up with your in riding position. How does this seem? I tried the POC synthetic puffer and the sleeve just rode up on me.
Happy I could offer a bit of insight. I actually have not ridden with it yet since I’ve got some pretty heavy on bike base layers/jerseys. What I can say is the sleeve length does seem the slightest bit longer than a traditional down jacket and the front of the waist is a bit shorter than the back which could mitigate the sleeves riding up.
I have not tried the lightweight down jacket. They almost look identical on the Rapha website. The lightweight down still has the 750 fill but the hood is not insulated, the hood looks like just a shell material. It might blow around in the wind.
It’s super smooth. I should have reiterated in the video that’s it’s more of the slider handle that can easily break off after wear. I’ve had two slider handles that have broken off on one of my insulated gilets. The nice thing is Rapha will repair garments at no extra charge. I just haven’t sent it in because I’m always wearing it.
The explore down Lightweight is 265 grams I believe. This is the regular explore down so it is not as light. It also has a down hood where the lightweight I believe is just sort like a shell hood

The jacket does look perfect. Going to take a look.
Awesome, thanks for watching the video
How does this compare with the Rapha lightweight down jacket?

Is the zip YKK? I can’t imagine a piece at that cost w a cheaper alternative
Thanks for watching the video. Yes, it does say on the zipper vislon YKK.
@@shelbsvideo then it’s definitely an anomaly, the zips should be smooth & reliable. If not, return it.

Jacket is 265 grams in a medium according to their website - unless you guys over there get a different version to what we have here in the UK
