I don't know why, but I've started watching the Yogs again. These build videos just remind me of the good ole' days. Something about Lewis and Duncan still playing Minecraft just feels like home. The Yogscast will always have a special place in my heart. Shoutout everyone who helps keep this channel going, you guys are incredible.
The fact there were a lot of stuff that could be used from the different games that wasn’t just makes me think how good of a prompt this is. Like ghost train, battle on the bridge, going to the moon, or dumb or bad translation stuff like “when I grow up I want to be a blitzball.” From 10.
You kind of lose a lot of the fun when you cant see the actual guess test that was written 😥. A huge part of the fun for me is the reveal of what the next player wrote, and its usually ridiculous
Think they must have had an issue with the map this time and so were having to recall them, but it does say the guess text at the bottom of the screen when they teleport to each build.
@@4F0xSake Yeah, I think it did break and it wasnt on purpose. But, It seems that the text only shows up sometimes, not everytime they go to a build. I would have hoped that the editor could have checked the footage and written the guess in text on the screen when it failed.
The "could be Torvill and Dean" comment right at the very absolutely obliterated me. I was in shambles laughing on the floor knowing they hadn't forgotten that hilarious prompt fail from the iconic duos episode
3:45 Seriously Lewis, I know it is just self deprecation for comedy and it was hilarious I just feel like saying something. You and I are about the same age and I have spent the past decade of my life enjoying the content you have made possible with your decisions. Thank you so much for that! Not to mention the hundreds of games I've been gifted for giving for Jingle Jam every year. Seriously, you have done far more than say.
I love these and hope they never end. Yogscast Minecraft is my favorite, and I just started rewatching their old series (ex. JaffaQuest, MoonQuest and Hole Diggers)🎉
That's highly debated how many final fantasy games there are could be anywhere from 95-340 if you Google it, reddit says it's best to not ask this in trivia because no one will get it right and there will just be bickering
Don't worry, Ben. My total sum of experience with Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy Tactics, and most of that is memories of the start where you choose your astronological signs. I was in a club in High School that was really excited about the Final Fantasy animations that came out around the 2000s, but I couldn't really care less since I had no real understanding of Final Fantasy. Turns out Sephiroth is way less intimidating if you're unfamiliar with him, so the dramatic scenes just come out as kind of funny.
Tbf, Tactics is one of the best entries in the series, imo. A spin-off, sure, but still one of the best. Also one of the most influential and recognizable SRPGs out there.
Astronological. I'm actually hoping that's just a thing and not a typo 😂. My sum total experience with FF is from Warhammer 40K: Battlesector, which is similar to/based on the mechanics of FF Tactics. I liked it, good game.
Person who was introduced to JRPG's by Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (basically the first Final Fantasy spin-off game) crying softly inside as they list off several other Final Fantasy spin-offs that came much later than it did. I mean, I get it, but still... Muh heart.
20:23 I feel like Rythian's done this before, build a whole thing that's almost entirely irrelevant to its primary purpose: getting the viewer to guess what the prompt was
I think it could've done with a little image of what each thing is supposed to reference (like in the Pokémon-themed one). I'd like to have known how accurate each one was without having to google!
Ngl as someone who doesn’t know much about Final Fantasy outside of who/what’s in Kingdom Hearts I thought Rythian’s Red XIII looked like an angry charmander who was pulling an exotic fish out of the water.
I love how my only knowledge of final fantasy would have been the cross over with kingdom hearts. I’d probably come up with a prompt like Cloud fights Sora from KH1 because that the only thing I can remember.
Has Lewis played FF14 before? Because he made the 3 dudes in the 'role colors' from that game. Green is Healer, Red is DPS and Blue is Tank. So he even made a balanced 3 man party.
Maybe unpopular opinion or just an age thing, but... When FFIX came out, it felt like they had encapsulated all of FF and was an end of an era Then FFX came out and felt like "follow the red arrow to the next (un-pausable & non-rewatchable) cut scene." 🤷♀
Where's the big text flashing who wrote and who built? The jump cuts are a bit much to handle without seeing the prompts. Almost feels like it was just pushed through when it was just a first edit.
I think the server broke on the last prompt. You can see how no one's timer is ticking down and the list on the right wasn't updating, so they probably had to go through them in a janky way, cause usually the server shows the prompts automatically on reveal.
Sixteen mainline games but between the spin-offs (think your Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Remake/Rebirth for FF7), sequels (FF10 getting FF10-2, FF13 getting 13-2 and 13-3) and bonus games (your Tactics and other random jumbles that don't fit within the main universes), there are well over 100 games of various sizes. I want to say 120 something at last count.
Yup, no two FF worlds are connected. There's loads of crossovers (Biggs and Wedge appear in multiple games as Star Wars references, Cid also appears in multiple games) and nods to other games (a character named Shinra appears in FFX and considers the idea of a power company drawing power from a magic source drawn from the planet, a la FFVII's Shinra company doing just that), but all sixteen mainline games are in their own universes. Nothing in FF7 affects anything in FF8, and so on.
@@VegetaLF7 before years game theory did a theory that all FF happen in the same planet but in different times in the last FF7 show that Sephiroth gets ready to attack the FF multiverse so the theory was incorrect

You need to watch the recent POG Game videos in that case! Welcome back
Kinda love the fact that Zylus pronounced Cait Sith in an actual Scots Gaelic manner compared to Nilesy.
4:40 Zylus somehow taking over 8 minutes to place 20 blocks
that's like saying "why does it take so long to write a book? it's only 26 letters"
Lewis' cat mount build is soooo good!
So glad Ben's prompt was a reference not just something he came up with
That Rythian giggle at 14:42 is clear proof that briony's laugh is literally contagious xD
Ben’s interpretation of Cait Sith had me laughing
Does a better job at it than Disney when it comes to Star Wars
Very surprised Duncan didn't get it. It's obviously a cat sith. cait sith.

What? No “Sabin Suplexes a Train”? What a shame…
