I don't think she corrected him the way you're thinking she did... The reason they have you fill out two separate receipts is because they have to match.

@@IBlowitByTheOh If the amounts don't add up (IE he put $100 as the tip but added $1100) the place might think the server messed with the receipt. So in a way he is correct.

As someone who met him I can confirm Ludwig is taller than expected and has longer, stronger and buffer arms than expected.
Literally same thing happened to me in Vegas. Was personally out $6,000 because I assumed the sign was included with the champagne I ordered. The multiple receipt thing is also so true. It’s the price one pays to learn not to be naive, I guess

@@IBlowitByTheOh that’s typical at a restaurant, but they i had the experience where they came back to me ~10 min after I signed had me sign another set of receipts. I’m sure it is, as you say, so they can point to evidence if someone disputes the charge and say “he reproduced the same bill on multiple occasions”
The waitress may have lied about the drinks and overpriced the birthday thing but at least she didn't let him give her an 1100 dollar tip.
