We can read his facial expression, how sad and disappointed he is to himself. He tried too hard to please everybody he forgot to be kind to himself. I think his fans has grown up together with him, they loved him perhaps at first because of his achievements but I read in many channels how his fans keep loving and supporting him no matter what happened. Brian Orser was correct when saying the relationship between Yuzuru and his fans is in spiritual level. I'm sure he'll be back stronger and wiser, ready for the next stage in his skating career.

Free from competitions, burdens of defending titles, free from judges who deliberately underscored him. And he has us, his fans and we will support him whatever he does. I hope he will never need to skate on painkillers EVER again. Whether he will still push on the 4A... I think he will. Until he hurts his ankle so badly, he will have to choose between his skating career AND the 4A. Then he will let it go. OR, he will smartly work it out how to do it safely. If that's possible. 🤞

I can feel he was crying inside, even when he was smiling for the camera. His eyes are honestly showing his pains and discouragement. I can feel his loneliness inside. He has been fighting all alone. And the fighting was full of injuries and pains...so for him, his efforts should have produced a form of his dream...but they didn't. He may need Brian Orser who has had the same desire as Yuzuru in the past and he understood Yuzuru better than anybody else.
My goodness I really hope this fine athlete and performer realizes how prized he is! Coach must have died a million times watching that struggle with the falls candle knowing how much he wanted to go on. May end well for them both.

This is just so sad to watch. He truly is the best figure skater of all time and the fact that he still can't see it is just so unfair. I showed my friend who never watched figure skating diffrent skaters, and then showed her yuzuru and she was like: wait he really is different, others do actually seem like they are practicing a sport you can see them putting so much effort in it, but he's not he's smooth and looks like he's just enjoying it. Aileen GU said something the other day, there's another life after maybe 24 when she retires, and she is preparing for a different life and looks forward to it. If the body is broken because of 4A, we fans will not be able to see his performance again, which is not what we are happy to see, even without 4A his performance is as wonderful, because every time he pours out all his . For someone who loves skating, it is extremely painful and cruel to not be able to skate anymore if the ankle is broken due to 4 jumps.

He showed SO MUCH courage, going for the quad axel despite being injured and knowing that he could have played it safe to guarantee a spot on the podium. His performances were all so moving!
