The first two Gengars are awsome because of the whole "anyone can cook" vibe

I was very fond the tinkercad one because of the Minecraft/ Roblox vibe.

Really great tutorial! Just getting started with the 3D printer stuff with my 10yr old son, and this is the best intro video I've seen so far as an intro to creating 3D prints.

Thanks for the positive feedback, check out a more recent video I did with tinkercad making cake toppers. I've been doing 3D for more than 30 years (showing my age) and I have come to understand that not everyone is like me so I really recommend tinkercad for anyone that wants to get started and gradually move up to blender and beyond. Here sending you and your son best wishes in your 3D journey together.

You also can use references inside Nomad

I have tried but is kinda like placing a background image unlike blender where each reference can be its own object.

@@gordograppler you can use different image for each view) but you right, in blender we have planes with refs😊

I'm trying out this iPad app, valence 3D, I freaking love it, it's the closest thing to blender on an iPad or even iPhone.

Sorry, but Tinkercad seems to do its own thing. I tried the code blocks and get a lot more done.

I have not tried that feature yet, tinkercad as the name implies requires tinkering and yes sometimes it can be finnicky.

@@gordograppler It is straight graphing like in algebra class save that there is the Z direction. You have primitives' you can use, rotate, mirror and do other functions with to create what you want.
